I went to my 2 week post op appointment where I waited for nearly 2 hours just to be seen by the NP, Haley Miller, which I understand the Doctor gets pulled into a delivery etc but the lack of care from her staff was astounding. Miller asked how I felt after surgery. I stated fine snd she said "well everything looked good according to Dr. Santoro" No post op physical exam was done, my incisions were not looked at, my images were not reviewed and no additional follow up appointment was offered. I had to ask if I was cleared to resume to normal life activities after surgery and they looked at me like I was crazy. Additionally, miller proceeded to document that my behavior was not conducive for a physical exam even though I was never offered one. I am still trying to get an appointment for my surgical images to be reviewed. Meanwhile, my post op care was billed under global health plan for my surgery meaning insurance has already paid for post op care even though I have not received care that would meet insurance requirements. I brought this to the offices attention and they didn't care.

Initially the frustration came from the long waiting times at appointments. If you are more than 15 minutes late you must reschedule but if you were on time, I have experienced wait times of over 45 minutes before even being called back and an additional 45 minutes to an hour in the waiting room. This has improved but now you must wait extremely long times for lab results, making me think the labs are not going out daily. I had blood drawn on Monday and didn't receive results until Friday for results that other offices provide same day or next day. I have blood that was drawn on Wednesday and Wednesday has come again and still no results, so if it is an urgent matter this would not be the practice to visit. I do enjoy the care I receive from the providers, they are easy to speak with and knowledgeable in their fields. It's just some categories where the practice is missing the mark.

I could have CRIED when every single person in the clinic was not just kind, but listened intently. They never made me feel rushed or that they didn't have time to talk about what was going on. They never acted dismissive. But I still expected after my ultrasound to be told they found nothing and to go home. But instead they were kind throughout the process and they DID find something and told me it was a good thing I listened to my body. They asked many questions after, getting a better idea of my history and current situation. They never rushed me or talked over me. Since it had been around two years, they asked if I wanted to do an exam since I was there, to also make sure everything else was okay. I said yes, because why not? I was already there. When I tell you that it was the most relaxed and comfortable exam I've ever had....I was blown away. They then took my labs because I mentioned I've been going through perimenopause despite my previous GYN dismissing it, so that they could look at my levels to make sure and also give them a clear picture of my current health and make recommendations if needed. I have NEVER felt so comfortable, understood, acknowledged, and validated as I did in this office. I will never go anywhere else and will recommend anyone and everyone I know to this clinic. I simply cannot say enough good things about my experience. PLEASE support this practice. I cannot express to you how absolutely amazing my experience was and how VASTLY different from any other experience I have ever had with a GYN clinic. I hope and pray they stay open, because I never want to go anywhere else. I also had a conversation with Dr. Hudson the same day about what had happened and he was understanding and wanted to make sure any and all of my questions were answered, as well as making sure I was well informed about the situation. My appointments tend to last less than 30 minutes since I haven't had any abnormalities or issues. I tend to get confused about where to park and how to reach the office (likely since I only come once a year) but I manage to make my way there each time. If my experience remains this pleasant I can see myself staying to work with an OB if I do have a child one day.

I have never even been to the hospital. I asked where, and she said at the outpatient building . I googled Map'd it, and that sent me 3-4 miles away from the hospital. It took a couple phone calls to find out the outpatient is right next to the hospital. So I am 1/2 late for my appointment and sitting in an imagine waiting room with 30 more people during a pandemic. Wonderful. Looks like another 2 hours of my day shot because of the staff at Dr Chwe's office This was the worse doctor visit I have ever had. And I am 65 years old. Your life and time will be of no importance I found a lump in my breast in February of 2021. Made an appointment to visit my physician. At my appointment, I was told that I WAS OK and IT WAS NOT CANCER and to follow up in 6 months. I followed up with Eastern OBGYN in the 6 months only to be told I have stage 3 breast cancer and it's spreading fast. I am 28. My initial visit when I discovered the lump was with Eastern OBGYN PC where I have been a patient since 2017. Where my medical records note that I have complained of breast pain since 2017 and I have a family history of cancer. I was told by my oncologist that the abnormalities were noted in my initial exam back in February of 2021 but the drs didn't think anything of it because of my age. I am only 28 years old. I was 27 at the time of my diagnosis in September of 2021. 6 months after I noticed the lump, notified my physician, and was told I was ok.Not one person of any status within this hospital system has apologized for such a careless mistake. After 6 rounds of intense chemo, losing all of my hair.. a double mastectomy and an infection from the double mastectomy and over a month of radiation 5 days a week I am still having issues with this hospital system. Currently, I am in the process of completing 14 additional rounds of chemo and an additional drug. Dr. Ashley Fry is great. Dr. Anna Knight is literally an Angel on earth. She saved my life. The nurses are sent from heaven. Even after the surgery, I was bleeding profusely from one of my breast nipples, I visited my physician in tears and was told I was OK, it was not an infection and to just go home. A few weeks later, I myself discovered a huge infected hole on this very same breast that I was told by the doctors within this system that it was not an infection and I was ok and to go home. Again, I was ignored. I went to the ER a couple of weeks later and was told I had an infection and they had to remove the implant that was just placed bc of the reconstruction and mastectomy. Please choose the nearest research hospital or best research hospital for cancer treatment. Do me this favor and save your life. I'm not sure if this review will post because every other review that I've tried to post has only been visible to me. I pray that I will save your life. Also, I filed a complaint with the hospital and was told that someone from eastern would reach out. It has now been 7 months later. NOTHING.
