I must say, having a root canal was never on my Bucket List. I hoped I would never have to have one. As luck would have it, due to an accident, I needed to have 4 root canals on my four top front teeth. To make matters worse, I had to have them all at the same time. I can honestly say that after meeting Dr. Ghattas and his talented staff, I had nothing to worry about. The procedure took about 2 hours and it was amazing. The worst part is usually the needles, but Dr. Ghattas has this technique he uses where you barely know you are getting needles. Once you are numb, you don't feel a thing. Throughout the entire procedure, Dr. Ghattas provided an explanation about every step of the procedure. He and his staff were incredibly professional, thorough and pleasant. The 4 root canals came out terrific. It has been 2 days since I had the work done and I have not felt any pain. This was as easy or even easier than a normal dental visit. It was not what I expected. Believe it or not, I had fun. They played my favorite music and made me feel at home. I would recommend Dr. Ghattas and his team to anyone. I guarantee you that you will never look at root canals the same way again. It was truly an incredible experience by a team of talented professionals. I would rate them an "11" on a scale of 1 to 10. I was lucky enough to get booked today on short notice after my dentist referred me to Dr. Ghattas for evaluation and treatment. From check-in to check out, the team at Endodontic Associates of the Palm Beaches were terrific! Dr. Ghattas helped me relax by careful evaluation of my situation & once I got in the chair and he began work, it was relatively stress-free. He insured that I was numb, he explained every single thing he was doing to help relieve my pain and discomfort, and managed to actually finish the entire root canal in this one, short-notice visit. A shout out to Hannah (great chair-side assistant!) & Yohana (for carefully explaining the costs of my procedures at check out). These women made sure I did not leave until I understood my follow up care, even after Dr. Ghattas explained it all again before I left (let's be honest, patients probably hear 1/3 of what their doctors tell them LOL). All in all, the team at the Endodontic Associates of the Palm Beaches helped me get through a very trying day in a cheerful and upbeat manner. Recently, I was referred to Dr Ghattas for treatment in an infected tooth area. His office, staff, and assistant, Julie, provided excellent service to make my experience as comfortable as possible. Dr Ghattas explained the sophisticated 3-dimensional X-ray chart that identified the location of the infected area and the cause in simple explanations. A root canal was needed to address a second nerve that promoted the infection. The root canal took about 35 minutes and Dr Ghattas explained every step of the procedure. It was virtually painless, and he was able to complete my treatment in one session. After, he showed me an image of the treated tooth. He texted me that evening to see how I was doing. My visit to this Endodontist was a very positive and memorable experience because of Dr Ghattas and his staff. read more

I was recommended by my dentist to make an appointment, because I needed a specialist. I had a rear tooth with a chipped crown next to my wisdom tooth that was severely infected. This was to be my first ever root canal. I couldn't believe my tooth needed it and I actually had 4 root canal's in this one tooth. On top of this his microscope's showed my wisdom tooth had a fracture and also was infected into the tooth. Dr Ghattas and his assistant Maria made me feel relaxed and comfortable with the procedures needed and I was very grateful that they took special care of me. Dr. Ghattas is fantastic! I walked into his office with a very painful, throbbing tooth. I asked him to either help me or shoot me. Thank goodness he chose to help me! I'm no stranger to root canals, but my dentist had warned me this tooth was very "compromised" and would need an expert endodontist to save it. Not only was Dr. Ghattas able to save the tooth, his procedure was almost pain free. The worst part was the x-ray (due to my hyper - sensitive gag reflex). His office staff is just as nice and accommodating as Dr. Ghattas. If you have to have a root canal . . . this is the place. read more

I understand why my dentist referred me to this particular specialist. Dr. Ghattas was wonderful and his best recommendation was not to do a procedure. This indicates his priority is the patient not just additional revenue. That is the highest standard of care a physician can provide. The office is also patient centered. They are kind and caring, efficient and patient at the same time. This office should be the model for others to follow when striving for better patient satisfaction. A very positive experience. I'm a EXTREMELY difficult patient. My teeth are super sensitive and most doctors don't understand I'm "special" . He was accommodating, made me feel reassured, played my music preference for me to focus on. And completed my second root canal. Much easier and faster than my adventure with a different doctor. I'd recommend this caring precious doctor to anyone, especially if they have a hard time with dentist. I went to see Dr. Ghattas for a root canal in December. I was apprehensive but the minute I walked in the office my fears were gone. The office is both warm and professional. Normally, I hate the dentist/endo. Not anymore! I was referred to this practice by Dr. Alvarez at Natural Smile in PBG (another incredible team!) I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Ghattas to perform my first root canal. I had a badly infected back molar. There was only a slim chance that my tooth could be saved but because he is an amazing endodontist, he did!
