I truly don't have enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Shashoua. He literally saved my…read morelife and has continued to go above and beyond for what has been a very complicated and emotional journey with stage 4 endometriosis and infertility. I first met Dr. Shashoua after a failed embryo transfer that left me septic, internally bleeding, and in critical condition. I was so sick that I didn't fully understand what was happening -- I was truly dying. Dr. Shashoua stepped in with the urgency, skill, and calm confidence that only an exceptional surgeon can bring. He performed the emergency operation that saved my life, and I will forever be grateful. After stabilizing me, he did something that shows how deeply he cares about his patients: he referred me to a far better fertility doctor because he knew I needed more specialized and attentive care than I had previously received. That referral changed everything for my fertility journey. A few months later, he performed my endometriosis excision surgery and removed my tubes. These were major, life-altering procedures, and he approached every decision with precision, empathy, and extraordinary expertise. I now see him regularly to monitor and manage my endometriosis and infertility, and he continues to provide the highest level of care. What sets him apart is how closely he works hand-in-hand with my fertility doctor, ensuring that every aspect of my treatment is coordinated. My case is extremely complex and often overwhelming, but he has never once made me feel like a burden. He treats me with compassion, respect, and true dedication. If you have endometriosis, fertility challenges, pelvic pain, or any complicated gynecologic or urologic condition, Dr. Shashoua is the doctor you want in your corner. He is an extraordinary surgeon, an exceptional physician, and someone who genuinely cares about his patients' lives and futures. I owe him mine.

I have been going to this location for about 5 years now. And for the most part these guys and gals…read moreare professional, scrupulous, and focus. However, I must point out a few issues that have been lingering and surfacing for a while. First of all the receptionist who identified herself to me as being "Alejandro". Upon entering this location about 7 months ago I was standing in line waiting to be checked in with 5 people ahead of me. Excruciating pain from a condition of spinal stenosis and spondonsis. The problem came about when Alejandro began asking me questions that she hadn't asked anyone else. Are you working? do you drive? The other questions were typical but she hadn't asked anyone else those questions either. Which is a form of discrimination. I asked her "why are you asking me personal question"? I also ask for her name. Thereafter stating that if there was any other information that needs to be updated I would have told you. But once again she hadn't asked anyone else any question. Today I have to be forthcoming and expound upon the different issues concerning Alejandro first. On several occasions following the latter incident Alejandro had me sitting in the waiting area without notifying the staff that I had been there. People had come in behind me were sent to the back before me. I ask the staff about this. If there's a particular process for different patients. And i was told by 2 nurses at the same time. We call your name once you check in. I was upset but because of my doctor. Who spoke highly of his team I did not write these issues up. About 2 months ago a guy by the name of "Tyler" called me on the phone from the doctor's office. I don't know "Tyler" and he identified himself as being the receptionist from the call center. Asking me several questions to verified myself. The purpose calling was to set up an appointment with Dr. Chacko. However, he took it a step further by informing me that "We need to set up a better plan for pain control" I asked "Who is we"? The staff here needs to set up a better plan. I then asked "Tyler" what his job title was and how long had he been working there? He stated that he was the receptionist. I ask him had he been to school for : medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, etc.? His answer was no to everything I asked. I then ask "Have you seen my medical records? X rays, mri, medications, etc? He stated no. So what part of we are you in? Your purpose of calling me is to set up an appointment with Doctor Chacko. Not to discuss anything medical. He then stated that Dr. Chacko can do a zoom call before the end of the day. The office close at 5:00 p.m. This was 12:00 p.m. noon. A lady called me 4:45 p.m. and said that Doctor Chacko is about to zoom call you now. I am about to send you a link to open so follow the prompts. I get the link in "Spanish". It was already strange to get a call at 4:45 p.m. but now you guys are sitting around in the office playing games. I am not a guinea pig or a robot. The reason I say this is because calling under normal circumstances I can never get through but after the lady sent me that link in Spanish she answered the phone immediately and had the nerve to have an attitude about the link she had just sent me in Spanish. I told Doctor Chacko this as well. The only reason I hadn't wrote these people up long ago is because of Doctor Chacko speaking highly of his team once again. Up to speed now....2 weeks ago I called the pharmacy to put in for my medications to CVS automated system. Their system stated that they had to contact my doctor for approval. This was September 2, 2023 and I hadn't heard anything until today September 18, 2023. And this is why I am writing today. Tyler called from the doctor's office and stated that my medicine was in a location 2200 W. Howard street in Evanston Illinois. He also said this is the reason why you hadn't got your medicine. It was at this location all the time. And that CVS were not going to transfer my medicine to the Howard/Ashbury CVS. Tyler is a liar, and this is the reason why I am writing this review.. First of all, I updated my information with CVS and the doctor's office site (athenahealth) myself. The information was submitted successfully. Secondly, If CVS would have had the medication their system would have automatically sent me a text message stating that its being filled and when the prescription had been filled. I took the bus and then walked 4 blocks in excruciating pain today because of the negligence within this tapestry 360 staff organization. But whats appalling is for Tyler calling me and trying to which the blame on someone else. I don't know where these many illegal encounters are coming from but I can only suspect someone messed up really bad and they are doing anything they can to entrap me into something to clean up their mess because it is too much going on. And I will continue to transcend and make these issues transparent. Thank you for reading have a great day.
