Amazing, caring, professional, and warm. I would recommend Dr. Simmons over any doctor I've ever had.

The office is new, clean, and very modern looking. I was greeted warmly when I came in, and I only had to wait a few minutes after filling out the paperwork to get my vitals checked. And just a few minutes later I was speaking with the Doctor. Maybe I just got lucky and they weren't that busy, but at other doctors I've had to wait 30 to 40 minutes to see the doctor after getting into the exam room. Dr. Osmani is attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable talking to him, and I could see that he cared about what I had to say. They drew blood for labs, and said I have results in 48 hours directly in a modern online patient portal. All of this is really outstanding for a healthcare facility, but what I think is really great, is the spirit of what they are trying to do. I think that our healthcare system is broken, and the insurance industry is to blame. VivirMED has an upfront cash pricing structure, and the prices are reasonable. It is often cheaper to pay for labs out of pocket instead of going through insurance. It's likely that they get smaller reimbursements, but they are doing it to save the patient money and to be able to see patients who normally would be priced out of the healthcare market. They do accept insurance as well, and they have a subscription plan which seems very helpful if you find yourself at the doctor frequently. They are very innovative and potentially disruptive to the status quo of the insurance/healthcare industry, and that is a great thing! VivirMED is an important service to the city of Aurora, and the doctors should be applauded for taking their medical experience and using it to really help people.

This is exactly what the city of Aurora needed, caring physicians that attend to the patients needs. I would highly recommended to anyone that is looking for great care by professionals.

Has she had to cancel a time or two due to having to actually deliver a baby? Yes. Thats the nature of this specialty. I am honestly shocked by all of the negative reviews here. Dr Jensen has never been anything but forthcoming, honest and compassionate, especially during my times of pregnancy loss. I agree with the other reviewer that this feels like Duly has forced her out. The letter received about her departure was short and vague. If Dr Jensen is choosing to retire, why not just say that? Duly certainly has their hand in this one, once again putting profits over patients.

This did not bother me because I knew she was willing to spend as much time with each patient as they needed. She would stay and answer questions and was one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and hard working physicians I have ever known. I believe that Duly forced her departure with their neverending push for profitability. It just doesn't pay off for private equity when doctors spend too much time with the patients. I will be looking for a new doctor outside of the Duly umbrella. Good luck to you Dr. Jensen and thank-you for helping me bring my two amazing daughters into this world. You will be missed!!!

I still think about how little regard my birth plan was given, if any. I was flexible and hoped…read more that in difficult circumstances that I could trust the doctors to practice good medicine. I was told that if there were no complications they would offer the things in the plan, which was delayed cord clamping, skin to skin contact for the first hour, no pitocin, support for breastfeeding. One of the nurses came in just be for delivery had clearly just had a smoke and I could smell it on her... she also had her nose out of her mask (covid). After about one minute the cord was cut, and they took my baby to do whatever it is they do, measure poke etc. the doctor yanked my umbilical cord to get my placenta out and the cord snapped. I'm not being dramatic when I say o felt that in my soul. Then from the reflection in the glass above the doctor stuck their whole arm inside me to rip out my placenta. They then ordered pitocin (sp) bc I was bleeding more that they liked!? I had no complications and none of the things I asked for were provided. I'm not a mean person and don't like writing this out but if you have any hopes of having some autonomy in giving birth I would question going to Delnor. I forgot to mention that another doctor who was about to change shifts said "we need to keep an eye on that" but didn't specify what was of concern, bc... there wasn't anything, of course your gonna keep an eye on things but you don't point that out to a woman in labor. How anxiety producing. Maybe I'm a sensitive person I just really assumed there would be some effort to provide the things I had hoped for.... For weeks leading up I would speak with the Dr and ask if what I was wanting was doable. I was reassured numerous times that every effort would be made for those (evidence based) post natal supports. It still bothers me and I don't want others to have to go through what I did. Maybe it wouldn't be a big deal if I just deferd everything to hospital protocol but seeing as I asked and was comforted towards trusting them it stings, still. My daughter is 2 1/2 now and this is just some random Tues night that I happen to be looking back and feeling helpless. Was it the worst, no. Was it kinda f-&cked up, yes. I suffered from post-partum depression for almost 2 years. I really didn't want the pitocin bc of fear of emotional reactions. I've had terrible reactions to hormones in the past. I don't doubt that the pitocin given after ripping out my placenta played a role in that darkness that followd birth: I wish there was more I could do to make people aware. I wish I had gone to CDH like many people suggested but I had recently moved to Batavia and Delnor is so close.

We find it prudent to highlight Cindy M., who comforted, supported, educated, and showed her passion for care from the moment we met her. My family felt protected and loved as we spent the last few days under the care of Cindy. She is a massive asset to Delnor, who went above and beyond in all avenues of her profession. Cindy deserves to be recognized for her performance. I would highly recommend Delnor Maternity Center for future new life.

Colleen was very nice, professional, and thorough. She went over my extensive lab work from my first visit, my ultrasound/sonogram data (@12 weeks) and recalculated my due date based on my known ovulation date (vs. LMP). I also appreciated that she explained what my Level 2 (and 20 week) ultrasound will entail, and talked with me about optional testing. I had my belly measured for the first time (!) and finally heard Baby's heartbeat on the fetal Doppler (@17 weeks). Not as exciting as an ultrasound, but so reassuring to hear s/he is still doing okay in there! I know it probably sounds like a bizarre sticking point, but I'm still so happy to go to an office that does testing (i.e. at least urinalysis) at EVERY appointment! The nurses were all nice, as was Colleen, continually asking if I had questions, and making sure they were answered. The receptionist was also friendly. She helped me make a follow-up appointment that works in my schedule. Yep, I definitely love this practice!

I made an appointment and supplied my insurance information, and received call two hours later saying my appointment had been canceled because they couldn't get in touch with customer service at the insurance company! We verified the phone number and it was correct. No apology for the confusion, and still no offer to get me in to see a doctor right away. In healthcare, the people who answer the phone are sometimes as important at the physicians who treat you later, especially when their incompetence means your care is delayed. There was no concern displayed for the fact that I was pregnant and bleeding - no offer to have a nurse call, no advice, zero help. My insurance policy was current, and it covered my care which I received on an emergency basis from a different, much more compassionate OB group - a group I still see three years later.

Dr Kevin Hussey / OB: A very good doctor especially after i heard his story of how nice he is treating his patients and how professional and wonderful he is as an OB. He is very efficiency, professional, kind, knowledgeable, patience...these are all very important to first time parents, cause we always have lots of questions and concerns and he can solve them all and made us feel comfortable and confident about my pregnancy. One thing i do want to mention here is he is my life saver, i had a hard time doing virginal delivery and after two hours pushing, i felt like i am gonna die, and i was asking for C-Section, after seeing me in such pain, he immediately moved me to the surgery room for C-section delivery, and it was like 11:00pm on that day, and he did excellent work to my delivery and incision part, today is the day 9 after the surgery day, and i am feeling wonderful, love Dr Kevin Hussey, next week, i am going to see him again for my postpartum check up, i am going to give him a big hug :) CDH: Classes: Me and my husband took three classes in this hospital, delivery place tour, give birth basics and breastfeeding class, the teachers are knowledgeable (showing all useful messages and information ,answers all question from us, mostly first time parents with silly questions :)), the atmosphere is friendly and fun, we did learn a lot from there which is good cause we have very good preparation for our baby's coming. Dietician: I was found out have gestation diabetes at week 28, and had to see the dietician very often since then, i just wanted to say a big thank you to Dr David Ding, he is very professional and knowledgeable, he used the most common understandable way to explain me my situation and watched my diet very carefully and closely (weekly), my numbers were controlled very well under his monitoring, plus, his nurses and office staff are nice and good too. Nurses: Not being exaggerate here, all nurses that had been taking care of us are so nice and patience, from 2nd floor (where i did my delivery) to 3rd floor (where i got sent to recover), not even a single one is not nice, me and my husband were so appreciate their cares Dean from the 2nd floor is the name we want to mention here, when i was having so much pain while waiting for dilation, i was after her patient for the anesthetist, but when she saw me in pain, and her patient wasn't that bad, she had the anesthetist came to me first then her patient, i was so thankful to her. The 3rd floor where i got my recovery after the c-section , they are so nice checking on me every few hours, taking care of both me and my newborn...the restaurant for recover mom and baby is also nice, they gave us more foods than we ordered, just to make sure we had enough nutrition. .... Too much to say, but make the long story short ( i know it's already very long), I highly recommended Dr Kevin Hussey for whoever need nice OB and CDH to all mom to be. My next one, i will still choose this OB and hospital for SURE.
