Landmark Realty, Perry, GA. When I decided to sell my home,…read moreI chose Madison Holland at Landmark Realty based on a recommendation from a family member and I could not be happier. He researched comps in the surrounding area and suggested a price which resulted in a full price offer in 5 days. The pictures of the property were excellent and the advice he gave me was spot on. He was up front with what the selling costs would be and explained the process. When the home inspection showed 2 items the new owners wanted repaired, Madison offered a list of reliable handy men to take care of the issues. When I decided to stay in the area, I asked Madison to help me find a new home. He asked what I was looking for and make recommendations based on the builders reputation, property location, and price. He showed great patience showing me several homes that would meet my needs and once I decided on one, he walked me through the process of purchasing the home. We did 4 or 5 walk throughs and Madison's eagle eyes found some minor things that the builder fixed immediately. He was present at both of my closing to insure the process went smoothly and even now that I have closed and moved in, he still checks in with me. I have sold and bought homes in Georgia and Florida and worked with a number of realtors, and I would hands down recommend Madison Holland and his team of Landmark Realty as the best!

This was by far the worst move-out experience I've ever had, and I've lived overseas and across the country. I'm also not the only resident this has happened to multiple people have had issues with management and unexpected charges. After separating from the military following 7 years of service, I provided proper notice and my separation orders to Kamari. She told me I would still have to pay a $2,700 lease termination fee and claimed military separation did not qualify, even though both federal law and the lease clearly state otherwise. Less than 24 hours later, I received move-out charges including the termination fee. Once I sent them the section of the lease proving I was exempt, they removed the fee but suddenly added over $500 in additional "damage" charges that were never mentioned before. When I asked Kamari if we could walk the unit together so I could see the damages, she told me that since I had already turned in my keys, "she did not have to show me anything" even though the lease states residents have the right to review damages. The office later said they would review my dispute and contact me within 30 days, but after multiple follow-up attempts, no one responded. Instead, they sent my account to collections without any communication or finalized resolution. It was only after I contacted regional management and threatened legal action that they removed all the bogus charges and returned my deposit. For almost $1,600 a month, you can absolutely find better apartments with more honest and professional management. In the time I have lived here we have had three property managers nobody wants to stay and I see why. The only positive thing about living here was the maintenance team, who were always responsive and helpful.
