We had our semi-annual service on our two 3-ton heat pumps; technician Colby Cottrell with We Care…read moreHVAC called ahead and came and took care of us, even explaining how the system works when I asked. He was quite articulate, professional and polite in his explanation, and I appreciate that. This experience was much better than the previous service call from We Care, when they didn't even show up. But, that's another review for another time. Thanks Colby.

In 2018 I hired We Care Heating & Air to replace my ductwork. The original ductwork in my home was…read moreall metal and working properly, except for a prior addition that wasn't heating/cooling correctly because it had been tied into a small line instead of the trunk. Rather than correcting that one issue, the company convinced me to replace my entire duct system. During the installation, their crew moved a water line but failed to glue it properly. Two days after completion, the joint came apart and flooded my crawl space. They returned, pumped the water out, and promised to install a dehumidifier, but never did. Instead, they left a poorly installed vapor barrier that was ineffective. Since then, every supply line they installed has leaked air into the crawl space. This leakage has created moisture, condensate, and mold growth that were never issues before their work. Because I underwent multiple spinal surgeries after the installation, I was unable to inspect the crawl space myself and relied on the company's assurances that I would "never have condensate in the crawl space again." Today, photographic evidence shows the opposite. When I later called to ask why the ducts were leaking, the technician told me the problem was "above his pay grade." Instead of addressing their mistakes, the company attempted to sell me an encapsulation. This job cost me thousands of dollars and was sold as a fully engineered duct system. Instead, I was left with unnecessary replacement, property damage, mold, and poor workmanship.

I moved out of Shadowood March 2025. The first 6 months included the manager returning phones calls…read moreor emails days later. The maintenance man had been there 6 years and was the "all knowing" on everyone on the property. The light where you get mail was never replaced until the last 4 months I was there, only because of a New Manager Jennifer. The area is "very" dark and a security risk. My screen door was missing from day one, and was consistently being told your on the waiting list. I finally bought my own screen door. I wanted to Air Out my house but didn't want my cat to get out--she is an inside cat only. That brings me to the next problem I had, someone in another building kept letting their dog out who chased me barking in attack mode for months. I kept complaining and sending pictures to management until it stopped. Geez. The final problem that was ongoing for 11 months before my lease was up--the guy across the hall from me had been there for years. He had fights with his girlfriend out in public in the hallway and parking area-- He was dealing drugs out of the unit (I could hear the transactions through my own door). Nothing was done about it--until Jennifer came. I had to call the police several times because it was so dramatic. Jennifer - whooo a breath of fresh air. She was my manager at another property in Warner Robins a few years ago (Great experience). She came in and cleaned house. Fixed the light right away (mailbox area), replaced staff with professionals and my repair requests' were handled quickly. The property had not been kept up, but now someone was in charge of walking the property daily and picking up the trash. I was ready for a bigger place (house), but because of Jennifer, I would have stayed another year. She is doing a fabulous job managing that property and every day - improving it. What you get for the money in Warner Robins in the rental industry, Shadowood is a good price point-- considering how rates are skyrocketing.
