My case was closed in 2016, I found out a year later that my medical bills weren't paid as stated in the contract and was sent to bill collectors. I was harassed by bill collectors and my credit was ruined. Attempting to contact Keith Short after several phone calls I was able to talk to him, he admitted that there were some remaining unpaid medical bills and that he will go after the insurance company, also, if I have any further concerns I should speak with Samantha. Every time I've contacted Samantha I was given a different story of why Keith Short hasn't done what he's suppose to do in regards to clearing my medical bills. To date, 8 years later, my medical bills still remain unpaid. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Keith Short AS A LAWYER. I sought legal action from an attorney there by the name of Ebony Huddleston. I was seeking legal…read moreadvice for a family law case. Together we decided that an Agreement of Child Support and Custody document would suffice for my needs. This document was to be drawn up and filed through the court system. In total I paid the firm $1258 for this to take place. I called the firm to speak with Ebony to ask her some general questions and found out that not only did she quit, she did not file the document that I paid to have her file through the court system. I spoke with an attorney there by the name of Phil Hamilton. Since none of the other attorneys handle family law there, all they could do for me was recommend other attorneys. I told Mr. Hamilton that I would like to have my money back, considering that I paid for a service that was not provided. He was hesitant to give anything back to me at all. He did finally agree on only $800 of the $1258. I did pick up the money and my file. My mother called on my behalf trying to get them to agree to give me a full refund, considering that what they were charging me for was not valid. The promises that were made were not provided. This document was drawn up and signed in May of 2017. This whole time I thought that it had been filed through the court system and had weight to it. It is in now January of 2018 and I just now found out that was never completed. They told my mother they would not even speak with her because they did not represent her. They were extremely rude. I called them and told them they had my permission to speak with her and they were very rude to me. They said that since she was not my attorney it did not matter to them if I gave my permission they were not going to speak with her and they were not going to give me the remainder of the funds. I think this firm is corrupt and I am making a formal complaint about them. It is unfair what was done to me and how I was treated.
