Owner is great. Very communicative! They fixed my sons Bonnell and worked with the representatives from Bonnell to help save us money.

Shopping here was an Excellent Experience today. The Emoloyee was very helpful and we found a QUALITY BIKE AT A REASONABLE PRICE. Took my bike in because the disc brakes seized up. Kelcy got the pistons working again, explained what the problem was and how to prevent it from happening again. She did great work and I can't be happier. The work took a few hours and the prices were very reasonable. If you have issues with your bike, take it here and they'll take care of you! read more

Hours are incorrect. Today is Friday and been calling them since 9 am with no answer decided to stop by because maybe they are busy. Arrived and store clearly closed with lights off. Please update your hours so customers don't waste time with phone calls or showing up and you're closed. read more

Fair pricing on parts and service. All the work was done well, and completed on time.

Fast and efficient service. Full tune- up and install front and rear tubes. Definitely will be returning in the future.

Highly recommended their customer service is superb, meeting Josh is truly a blessing. Feeling new to the bike culture and asking basic questions, he was able to provide the details in ways easy to understand and with clarity. I quoted him a price that another bike shop offered me and he priced matched and that was icing on the cake. After shopping around for a bike shop and comparing their customer service, this place beats the competition. Looking forward to more projects. Thanks Josh! read more

I've been to many bike shops, none of them compare to The Bike Guy. First, the customer service is unparalleled. Josh is attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. We were in the market for an e-bike and he assisted us in picking a brand. He compared a brand that we were looking at with one we were eyeing at his shop and explained the specs on each, warranty info, and performance. Needless to say, with his help we settled on a great choice of the Kasen "City" and "Cross" models. Of the many impressive things about this experience, one thing that sticks out was the fact that he was very honest about the model we were looking for and the specs were very similar on both sides. Realistically we could have went and bought the other bike as we felt very informed after speaking to Josh. But you can't put a price on good customer service and honesty. Lastly, when our bikes were ready for pickup, our truck decided to get sick so to speak and we were unable to pick up the bikes. Josh actually went as far as to deliver the bikes with no hesitation and even looked at a traditional bike that I had in my garage and answer some questions about that one while he was here. Need I say more? Thank you Josh and thanks The Bike Guy for a great buying experience! read more

My kids were out ride bike and one of the bike's front tire went flat. They went to Bike guy since they were close by. Not only they changed the inner tube, they also noticed front break wasn't working well, so they fixed for my daughter with no charge. They are friendly and the price is so reasonable. I would certainly recommend them. Thanks, Bike guys for taking care of kids while they are out enjoying summer! read more

I needed new crank bearings for my beach cruiser. All the other bike shops have the word "Pro" in their name. To me that says expensive. Knowing that The Bike Guy has been in Simi 35+ years, I went to him first. I am so glad I did! I expected to pay at least $100 for the parts and labor. The Bike Guy told me it was an easy procedure and explained how to do it. I was able to do it myself. Total repair cost? $6.00 for the new bearings!! You sir, have a new loyal customer! read more

I went to actually buy a very light weighted folding bike. They didnt have it at that point of time but he looked it up for me and offered to order it. I was too choosy and specific, so didnt make a purchase but I really appreciate the guy's good nature and genuine attitude. He also gave me willingly a bike to try out coaster brakes when I asked him. :) I will definitely visit him for all other needs for sure and then I will update my post again. I am sure that it will be a good review again. read more

Okay where to start? I've been coming to Rick's shop for his amazing help for as long as I can remember. He's the best. As far as I'm concerned he's a national treasure for Simi. Very happy to support him. They are extremely friendly and helpful and knowledgeable! Thanks Rick and staff! read more

I only went because of the positive reviews about customer service but unfortunately I didn't have the same experience as everyone else. First time I went, they didn't have the type of bike I was looking for but didn't offer to help me find another. Second time I called to ask about tuning a bike and was told it would take a week... Guess YouTube will be assisting me with that. And third, I went in to purchase some chain lubricant and wasn't acknowledged right away. I mean, I get you're probably busy at the moment but a simple "Hello, I'll be right with you " goes a long way. Needless to say I will NOT be coming back here again. read more

Great shop with lots of selection. I brought in my e-bike for repair, and it was done quickly and thoroughly for a reasonable price. After I picked up my bike I promptly returned with two more, also for tuneups. Parking was a breeze. Monica helped me and she was just so kind. Don't ditch that old bike! My husband wanted to get rid of my 30 year old GT bike but it was my first bike purchase and I couldn't junk it and the great memories I have with my bike. I decided to bring the bike to my new work place in Simi Valley and that is how I found The Bike Guy. WOW!! feels like a brand new bike and runs more smoothly than ever. No one could ever figure out how to get the gears to shift smoothly and now they do! I'd say it's running even better than my nicer TREK bike! I'll definitely be bringing all our bikes here now even if it's far from where I live. It's so worth it. Price. I called a few places in this area and without seeing it, The Bike Guy offered the best price and turnaround time. The price was the same after he saw it and worked on it. My friend had taken the bike in for me and it needed a broken brake. It was very, very reasonable. Thank you for keeping my "junky" bike out of the landfill and giving me many more years with my GT:) read more

I took in an old neglected kids bike that needed some TLC. Got new tires and tubes, new shifters and grips, and tuned up. While I don't think 135 is a good deal ....regardless, it saved me time. Besides, I would likely take too long to do it, and maybe save me half the cost, but twice the time. I would learn a few important things again about bikes, and the sheer satisfaction of doing it right yourself is very rewarding....But..I could be doing some other useful and rewarding things around the house, like....... "the sound that crickets make". Anyway! They did manage to get it done in time, and the bike came back looking great. If I needed something like this again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Rick. Who else has a killer logo like that anyway? (notice the footprints on the way in). read more

While getting my daughter's bike ready for the weekend, I had to replace the inner tube and rim tape. I called Rick to see if he can help me out but he was about to close.
