I love coming here but I do hate how when I say I'm going wait for pinky the daughter and lady in the last chair always look at me weird or annoyed and start talking in their language. What they dont know is I was a loyal customer to my last eyebrow lady (7 years)and she butchered my eyebrows then after I went too 3 different ladies and the last lady made my brows so thin which traumatized me until my cousin said to try pinky which I've been going to the past almost 2 years every 2 weeks faithfully. I have also sent 5 different new loyals to them. I feel like everyone has a favorite eyebrow go to so they shouldn't act annoyed because it happens and I'm sure I'm not the only one with a "traumatizing" experience who prefer one better then the other only from past experiences. Yes I've went to the daughter but overall I just feel comfortable with the mom which is no disrespect to them cause as I put I have sent FIVE new people to them one being my sister. Update. Do not leave an honest review and then come bk here because they will retaliate. As I came the daughter right away started talking in their language and mentioned "review" like 5 times all while they were staring at me and giving me dirty looks which NEVER has happened prior to my review. During my service the mom who I did like going to got my nose then ended up messing my eyebrows up and left them so uneven ! After I was done she then gave me a tissue WITH the string she used to thread my eyebrows and was beyond rude and couldn't even hide it. I am NEVER coming bk here again!!!!!!!! Shame on you guys for being upset over an honest review !!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Simer is simply amazing . She is the only one I trust with threading my brows and now takes care of my whole family. She made sure from day one to ensure she was only going to clean up my stray hairs while keeping my natural shape and not thining them out or looking to feminine which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend her to everyone. read more

Great threading services! Fast. Affordable. The ladies do speak in their native language a lot among each other. Like any other store it does feel uncomfortable not understanding what they say in their native language and "assumptions " can rise very quickly. I try to ignore it and make sure they do a great job on my threading. read more

I went to Simer's Threading & Henna Tattos for the first time the other day and I LOVED IT! Where have they been all my life!? I have desperately been seeking a salon that is safely doing eyebrow threading during the pandemic and BOY am I luckily I finally found Simer's place! I had never noticed this threading shop until they posted the signs in the Walmart parking lot and I saw the Chinese folding screen for privacy outside. So, I thought I would give them a chance since almost all the salons are closed right now and I have no idea when I would be able to get my eyebrows threaded next. I am extremely satisfied with how my eyebrows turned out BUT I was more excited to see the amount of safety measures they were taking because of COVID-19. They had an eyebrow station set up outside in the shade under the breezeway with gatorade and everything for the customers! They were also allowing one customer inside at a time as well and both participants had to wear a face mask. When I got my eyebrows threaded with Simer, it wasn't NEARLY as painful as the other places (Shapes Bar in the Visalia Mall) and she talked me through her process on achieving my desired shape. I.e. If I wasn't able to get the shape today she explained I could over time achieve my goal eyebrow shape within a couple visits! Simer is a perfectionist and takes pride in her work like me and I appreciate that! Simer's Threading & Henna Tattoo salon will from now on be my go to place to get my eyebrows threaded! I highly recommend her to anyone who will listen! read more

I HIGHLY recommend her for micro blading and even just brow threading!!! read more

I lived in Visalia a few years ago, and the service at Simer's was always great and their work area was always clean and organized. Come again in 2022 and I can say that the consistency in the service remains but also in the quality of their work. I have very tricky, uneven, sparse brows but the ladies there always seem to do a fantastic job at shaping them into place, while still making them look full and beautiful. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be a returning, lifelong customer on my visits to Central California! read more

Simer does a great job! I go here about every 4-6 weeks for a full face wax or thread. The price is $30 and with tip $35. A bit more expensive than what I paid elsewhere which admittedly, did do a better job but for Visalia I'm very happy Simer has an Indian/desi establishment that does eyebrows really well. Simer is very dedicated to her job and she will remember you and answers phone calls too. I will always come to her and not go elsewhere. if you are in Visalia, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else. read more

When I was introduced to eyebrow threading I was like oh wow; and when I walked into Simer's place and she did my eyebrows for the first time, I was like I don't need to go anywhere else. I have been going to her for eyebrow threading for years now, and when she announced that she was going to start microblading I was so excited. After several months of following her work and seeing her posts I finally decided to get it done. She definitely explains thoroughly the process for each session and she answered any questions I had. I love how my eyebrows turned out. Ladies if you plan to get your eyebrows microbladed I recommend you go to Simer. She is talented and amazing at what she does! read more

I've been Comming here for a while now and every time I do it's been fast and reliable. They do a great job with my thick eyebrows and with a great price too! Male or female it doesn't matter they treat and charge everyone the same. I've been to multiple eyebrow threading places and this one is by far #1. read more

I just came in here, I used to go here three years ago before I moved out of town and just came back and my THICK eyebrows became the THINNEST most uneven things in the entire world. I was literally crying in this establishment because of how messed up my eyebrows look and they still charged me 10$. Only come here if you want to leave looking hideous and ugly because that's how I feel after getting pencil THIN eyebrows. Do not come here , please go anywhere else these workers do not care they will rush you in and out and do not care if they completely mess up your eyebrows. read more

DO NOT GET SERVICE HERE AT SIMER'S THREADING'S‼‼ I came to this establishment hearing MANY great reviews but EVERY experience I have received with this business was DISAPPOINTING!! I always wanted to make it work because one eyebrow was very thick and way bolder than the other which gave me hope because my left eyebrow always came out pretty decent I thought it was normal because my arch was more defined on my left eyebrow and looked okay but they always tended to thin my right eyebrow MAJORLY over the left !! I received the worst results EVER from todays afternoon, I voiced my concerns about one of my eyebrows previously being way thicker to the owner with a photograph of my eyebrows of the last visit before she started threading hoping for an improvement, she THINNED my left fuller eyebrow TREMENDOUSLY and I brought it to her attention and she told me that my eyebrows were just very light and that makeup would fix it and showed me where I needed to fill in my eyebrows in with makeup! she totally took a huge chunck off the bottom I am most certainly never returning to this place again, I am soooo unhappy and upset with my results today I have my first day of school in TWO days and have one of my eyebrows looking terribly different than the other, also looks WORSE in person rather than a photo but you can see that she thinned them quite ALOT. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY NOR TIME HERE‼ read more

I walked in on Saturday night and there was only one employee and she was talking on the phone. She pointed at the chair so I could sit down. I expected her to get off of the phone so she could thread my brows but she kept talking the entire time I was there. It seemed like she was more focused on her phone call than my eyebrows because my eyebrows are missing pieces here and there. First and last time she will do my brows. I've gotten two other girls there and they both did a good job. The place was also a mess with a bunch of thread all over the ground. Both of the other times I went it was clean. read more

This is a nice little threading salon located in the same parking lot as the Walmart Supercenter on South Mooney. It is neat as a pin and simply decorated with cream colored walls, white tile floors with small black accent tiles sprinkled throughout. There are several deep red comfortable couches in which to wait and two padded chairs that look like hair salon chairs where the magic happens. If you're not familiar with threading, it is a form of facial hair removal that originated in ancient times in the Eastern world. White cotton thread is twisted and used to pull hair out right from the follicle. For those of us with luscious raven locks (thick dark hair) regular facial hair maintenance is critical. For years my only option was waxing which hurt, was messy (I sometimes found bits of leftover wax on my face), and left my skin bright pink and puffy for at least an hour. Since I discovered waxing a little over a year ago I've never gone back. Threading is gentler on my skin (no aftereffects of hot wax to deal with) and other than making my eyes water a little it doesn't hurt as much as waxing did. I can go in with makeup on and still look presentable when I leave. The lady who did my threading was very friendly and worked quickly to clean up my eyebrows. She charged less than I've ever seen at other threading salons, too. I was very happy with the end result. My eyebrows and upper lip were free and clear of hair and I was good to go. I'm definitely a big fan! read more

Entered the establishment and felt like I walked in someone's home because the staff were just chilling on the couch. Awkward!! Of course during the service, one lady remained on the couch talking away without a care in the world. Talk about professionalism. The worst threading of my life. I was in so much pain and it turned out she was cutting my skin!!! I posted a picture to show proof. If you want people come to your establishment, make customers feel welcome and don't rush the process. read more

I am thoroughly impressed with Simer's threading skills. I was on the hunt for months for an eyebrow place that did wax or threading. I was so happy when I finally came across a place that I LOVED and could keep going back to again. Simer does an excellent job and from the first time I went she understood exactly what I wanted. I couldn't stop looking at my brows after my first visit lol. The cost is great only 10 bucks. You definitely can't beat that with the amount of care and expertise that goes into maintaining your brows. The fact that I drive 30 min all the way from Lemoore should speak volumes. Yes I am a very happy customer. I need to put Simer in bubble wrap so she never gets hurt. I need her in my life forever lol! read more

I had been here once before many, many years ago and I remember it being a positive experience. I didn't continue going because I had a membership at another threading location in the mall. Long story short, the place I had been going to had lost the only few ladies who knew what they were doing. Today I decided to visit Simer's and I am never going anywhere else! The wait time was short. The lady who helped me was so quick and efficient. I explained to her what I wanted done and what my long term eyebrow plan was. She listened and did an excellent job! My 'brows look even and clean! I highly recommend this place! read more

My brows were basically nonexistent at the ends. I have been going to Simer's for years to have them threaded. When she announced that she started microblading, I was very interested. She explained the process thoroughly and I decided to have them done. On the day of my appointment she explained everything in detail and made me feel really comfortable. She shaped them, showed me the color and we began. It felt like little scratches across my brows, not to painful. The whole process took a little less than two hours. I am so happy with my results, they look very natural. She did an AMAZING job, I highly recommend Simer. She is very talented, kind, and patient. read more

Not thick eyebrow friendly. I specially told the woman I like to have thicker eyebrows and would prefer for her to just clean them up. She ended up taking off over half of my eyebrow and she knew she messed up. She had to go back and make the other one thinner after already doing it. I'm very unhappy considering I liked having thicker eyebrows. Will never be coming back here and wouldn't recommend it. Doesn't understand the obsession with thin eyebrows especially since I asked her to keep them thick. read more
