$300/hour plus trip charge of $150…read more John was knowledgeable and personable, but at $300/hour you should be aware it's a hefty price. I have renovated/flipped/bought and sold 20+ properties in the last 10 years, and the most I have ever paid a plumber is $150/hour. $300 seems excessive.

The owner John is very knowledgeable about inspecting & reconditioning driven wellpoints. He was…read moreable to chlorinate & bale my well point. I was expecting that the total service charge including trip time to be approximately $250 or so, but the final charges came in at $700. There was no repair or replacement parts done on my wellpoint, just one bottle of bleach run through my system & flushed out. He spent way too much time on the job (close to 4 hours) for what other contractors for the same service would have done in a couple of hours. That is why he probably charged me so much. The total was $550 ($550 less a first time service credit of $25), and then when I received the actual invoice another $175 was added just to call him to come out to the place. Although John is skilled in his trade, I would not use him again or recommend anyone else employ his services. He may proudly state that his business is run by a veteran, but I strongly feel I was treated dishonestly by him. It is a shame he feels he has to charge outrageous prices, and overcharge. I also agree with S.B.'s review on this site, and am sorry he had a bad experience as well. John, if you ever read this post, I do hope you clean up your act. You have so much potential with your skills & talents, but seem to have found taking advantage of people is a profitable endeavor you enjoy. Once again, I hope you can make changes for the positive in the future.

Flat Rate plumbing service charges that are extremely high compared to other plumbing companies. One of the services I requested was to replace a kitchen faucet. The labor charge to replace a kitchen faucet which took 45 minutes to complete was $422 which did not include the trip charge. No detail breakdown of the charges until I received the invoice by email. For the services I had requested, I was given an overall cost to conduct the services without a breakdown of each service. I was given the opportunity to accept these charges which I did because it already took 5 weeks to get a plumber out to my house and I already had to pay the trip charge. It wasn't until I received the detail invoice did I see a breakdown of the service charges. When I called to question these high charges it took 3 calls to finally have someone from their contact center reply back to me with their response. While two of the three services I had requested were able to be performed and the plumber was very courteous, the delay in getting this service and the high charges to perform these services were very disappointing. UPDATE: Frasier's Plumbing reached back out to discuss further the concerns I had regarding their service and charges. Their Call Center Manager was professional, courteous and allowed me to express my concerns. At the end we came to a solution that met both of our needs. I appreciate and respect any business that takes the time to listen to their customers concerns to better their service and retain their customers.
