Called back today, got someone who's only object was to sell me a loan, which would have taken my mortgage from 19 years to 30 years. (Only, in my opinion, would an idiot do this.) I asked four times what it would be to refinance with them for 20 years. I finally gave up and hung up. These are scam artists to say the least. This company will only guarantee bankruptcy down the road and the government should be going after these criminal scam artists to say the least. Tried to file a compliant with the better business bureau but one cannot even navigate through theiur BS, so I could not file it.

So I use YeLp to locate a mortgage group that I thought would assist with a loan. I'm usually on…read moreyelp for assistance with meals but this time, I thought I'd use this app and seek assistance from fellow yelpers for something more. Of course, I rely on reviews in making a decision on who to go with. Stumbled upon this mortgage group as they're located in the same vicinity as my current residence so I decided to reach out. Reached out not only because of their 5 star rating but their positive reviews and comments. Fast forward- after submitting to them all necessary docs, a week goes by without any communication or update...so I text their loan assistant, Stephanie for update and unfortunately no reply. All I'm simply requesting is an update and better communication regarding our loan status. It's been a couple weeks and couple weekends but still haven't received a pre-qual letter. I've reached out to other brokers since and they were surprised that it was taking so long for a letter. The only communication was over a week ago when Stephanie confirmed - based on the submitted docs, everything looked good and we'd qualify for the loan amount we were seeking. So where is our update if that's the case?! This experience thus far has been nothing but frustrating and will most likely pass on yelp's assistance other than locating a good meal.

We had a tight deadline to complete all of that over the summer while our kids were out of school and we mostly made that happen! There were a lot of ups and downs with both transactions, but Caroline was professional, proactive and on top of it the entire time. She was always available for showings (or having a peer sub in), quick to respond to any and all questions / feedback and all but flew across the country to get multiple updates per day from our buyers' loan officer when there were issues with funding and closing on time. We went from Plan A, to B, to C and maybe Plan D (I honestly lost count of the issues and pivots we had to do) and she kept everything moving forward when it was trying like hell to go sideways again, and again, and again.... I highly recommend Caroline and I am very happy I made that call to the Justin Landis Group. I have already been recommending her to neighbors! Give her a call if you're in need of a real estate agent and ask her about our story for some laughs / drama (bring popcorn!). P.S. The rest of the team was awesome, too: Mari (Visual Coordinator), Matt (Transaction Coordinator) and Jess (Director of Operations). The marketing / photographer for our home was on point -- the Zillow listing (with 3D walkthrough) and printed pamphlets were gorgeous and we got a ton of interest and positive feedback, even from family and friends!

PALMER HOUSE WILL SUE YOU!! GEORGIA EDWARDS, a realtor with Palmer House sued a family with small…read morechildren after she tricked them. She inserted a one year "exclusive" into an offer the couple made on ONE home after they wisely refused to sign a buyer brokerage exclusive agreement. The offer failed and the listing agent in Canton reported that Georgia's contracts are LATE AND SLOPPY. Palmer House and Georgia Edwards SUED THE FAMILY when they purchased a house with another agent after learning about her incompetency. Palmer House NEVER looked into the facts. The law suit was VINDICTIVE AND GREEDY. They intentionally harmed good people. Georgia will call you her "family" to endear herself. She is a VERY DECEPTIVE INDIVIDUAL. Georgia put a lock box and a sign on the same couple's home without their permission and pressured them to sell because she said their neighborhood was "changing". We called her about listing our home prior to knowing that she is a very litigious person. During a phone call with Georgia, her husband Buddy, who she refers to as her "closer" joined in to pressure us. They told us we needed to quickly list because "WHITE FLIGHT" had already taken place in our lovely neighborhood. That is NOT true and we are NOT racists. We were deeply offended and hurt by their attempt at what is also known as blockbusting. Palmer House apparently supports these practices as Georgia Edwards is still there. Please beware. Georgia Edwards is dangerous and with Palmer House, she has the resources to do a great deal of harm to innocent people with a team of corporate lawyers at her disposal. Unfortunately, Palmer House has ZERO interest in the truth. This review was written to spare innocent people from being sued by GEORGIA EDWARDS and Palmer House.
