I love this farm. I love the variety of the animal farm, especially the goats. Always quick service despite being bustling. Great place to get into your fall spirit with the autumn ambiance. Apple picking is fun & at a good price. Pumpkins are pricey for me. Delicious snacks at the market with the best apple cider. Beautiful family friendly farm. I will always recommend this farm.

I stopped by Silverman's Farm and picked up their Sweet Apple Cider, and wow--it's some of the best cider I've ever had! The flavor is fresh, crisp, and naturally sweet without being overpowering. You can tell it's made with real apples and a lot of care. The fact that it's pasteurized and locally made gives me peace of mind, and it tastes just like fall in a bottle. The farm itself is such a charming spot family friendly, welcoming, and always stocked with fresh products.

Super cute farm. We came here for a toddler's birthday party and it was a beautiful setup. There was Thomas the train setup, you can feed the sheep's/goat around, and there was this long slide my daughter kept going around and around.

**STORE REVIEW ONLY** Have family on the east coast and was visiting CT for the holidays and wanted to stop somewhere to buy some unique, local gifts. We decided to come here and buy some food for the home but also gifts. They have a holiday shop on one side and the other side is filled with an array of pies baked fresh on the farm, unique jams, jellys, bbq sauces, salsas, pasta sauces, honeys, salad dressings, etc. most of the gift items were around $8-14. Reasonably priced for some unique items to bring back home. Worth checking out if in the area.

Honestly I had SO much fun at this farm I'm not sure why there are so many sub-par reviews. I visited in early July for peach picking and yes peach picking was slightly underwhelming it was very crowded and all the ripe peaches had already been picked so we were left with a lot of hard peaches. That being said now that they have sat for a week outside they are ripe and delicious to ear. The HIGHLIGHT of this farm is the animal farm. Get the $5 feed bag it is 100% worth it it is a ton of food for a small dollar amount. The baby goats are adorable alongside the llamas, cows, and emus. Word of caution when feeding the emus- they bite! Animal farm was 10/10. Peach picking left something to be desired but that is probably a symptom of when we went versus the farm iteself.

Silverman's is a great place to go on an annual Fall trip for apples, pumpkins, and cider. It has an "Instagramable" outdoor area with several places to take photos and pick the perfect pumpkin to take home. I usually buy apples to bake something like pie, or dumplings at home. You can get a pre filled Apple bag of pick your own. However, I like to choose a few different varieties from inside the country store and mix and match. They also have pies, bread and other assorted goodies. It's a very family friendly spot. That being said, *Pro-tip - If you don't have children, or don't plan on taking any with you, don't even try to go on a weekend from September - November. Go after work, or take a day off.

This farm has everything you want from a farm: pick your own fruits, animals you can feed, and a market with all the produce and all the farmers market goods! Let's start with the PYO. I went today to pick blueberries and they were the biggest blueberries I've ever seen, There was such a selection, like every berry bush was filled. Every associates berry picking with Lyman Orchards but Silverman's beats them hands down. The fields go on and on and on. Even from the two rows I picked from, it was without a doubt the best blueberries I've ever picked. I also went to the petting zoo part. Admission was cheap and it was also $5 for a bag of kibble for feeding. IT WAS A HUGE BAG IT WAS BEYOND WORTH IT. I thought it was gonna be a small little section for a small group of animals, like most farms have. NOPE. It was like going to a small zoo almost. There were sections with deer, goats, sheep, alpaca, chicken.. Amazing. The areas for each animal were sufficient like they were definitely taken care of, and very roomy areas for every animal. Lastly, across the street, there was the main market spot. They had all difference produce, jams, jellies, sauces, premade mixes (pancakes, cobblers, etc), honey, milks.. This was a cool place. I only planned on staying for half an hour and it turned into 3. Wow!

Cheddar ale dip!! This tastes like nothing

I stopped by to see what they had to offer on the way out of town. The store has a bunch of local products, Christmas trees, pumpkins and all veggies. I bought a few overpriced products thinking they were going to be some magical local products. Unfortunately I was disappointed by everything. Bacon ketchup! How can you mess that up? Easily, don't put any bacon in it and a ton of sugar and you have a $10 bottle of "meh" ketchup. Cheddar Ale and Lobster Bisque dip mix!? Hell yeah! Okay they're $5 for a little pouch but they'll be worth it. NOPE!! Stay away from these they taste like absolutely nothing! I can't totally blame the farm for having crappy products, but don't charge an arm and a leg for them.

We stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon to pick raspberries. We paid ahead of time and each got a small container to put the raspberries in--$5.00 a piece. Raspberries are expensive anywhere you go and to be able to pick our won was a great way to spend time outdoors. There were plenty of raspberries to pick which were ripe and juicy. A great experience. The inside store/farm stand had plenty of fresh veggies and fruits, pies, and baked goods,, as well as an assortment of their own jams and other items along with Stonewall Kitchen products. There were also gifts of different sorts available for purchase. The cider donuts were fresh and delicious. Nice, local farm in the beautiful, quiet town of Easton. There is an animal farm which looked like fun for all. Parking in front of store and also across the street by the animal farm. Nice way to spend a few hours.

I appreciate that they've added select Saturday dates recently, as it's helpful for those of us working during their usual Thursday hours. My favorite vendor is Riverbank Farm, which offers delicious produce and prepared foods. I was slightly disappointed to find that their winter prepared foods are currently sold frozen, as it altered the texture and taste a bit. We picked up the classic hummus, a carrot sage hummus, pesto, vegetarian borscht, and carrots. The hummuses took about six hours to defrost at room temperature, while the borscht took a full 24 hours and was still a bit icy on top. Both hummuses were great as per usual; I preferred the flavor profile of the classic, which features garlic scapes, while two family members preferred the carrot sage. The pesto was quite oily, so it paired very well with pasta, though it did congeal once it went back in the fridge and required time to sit out again the next day. Similarly, the regular hummus hardened a bit overnight. The borscht wasn't our favorite, but I think that may have been due to the frozen-and-unfrozen nature of the dish. The carrots were delicious! We also enjoyed a vegetable quesadilla from Boxcar Cantina, which came with pico de gallo and avocado slices. The vegetables were fresh and the flavor was yummy, although it wouldn't be my first choice from their menu. While it had a solid amount of vegetables, I would have preferred more, as the edges were either plain or just cheese. We'll definitely keep coming back!

"Well, I'm running Police on my back…read moreI've been running Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday" (The Clash) Well, if you want to run over to the Westport Farmer's Market, be advised that the only day of the week you can do this is Thursday. That's all. Just Thursday. Despite today's Thursday drizzle, we did just that and spent an hour or so wandering around the grounds, chatting with the vendors, enjoying the live music, and everything else you do at a Farmer's Market. It's a good-sized market with plenty of space in its aisles and between booths. We saw a big choice of fruit and vegetable stands, meat, dairy, poultry and seafood vendors, plenty of food vendors, and even a few adult beverage booths. The Parlor pizza and Nit Noi Asian food stations were among the busiest vendors. We stopped at Nit Noi and picked up a frozen bag of shrimp dumplings ($16) and a jar of soy chili oil ($5). PRO TIP The Market is located pretty close to the Saugatuck River, and if you explore the grounds you'll find a footbridge that crosses the river and a walking path that follows the river, So if you gorge yourself on Farmer's Market pizza and ice cream, you can walk it off to some degree.
