Was fast and efficient and very nice doctors! Clean office and in a good location. Got retainer and fillers

Today was my first visit and as soon as I walked in the door Brenda was so kind and welcoming. I was seen right away for my teeth cleaning, each interaction I had here made me feel so comfortable and at ease. After my X-ray Dr. Juliet Ebrahimian went over everything with me thoroughly, I was even able to get the extra procedures done right away. My teeth cleaning went great with the hygienist and starting the crown procedure wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. So grateful for everyone being so attentive, kind, and creating a calm environment when visiting the Dentist can sometimes be scary. So much gratitude for everyone here read more

I'm so happy I came here! I'm now a few days out from the first part of the major work I needed to get done and I'm so pleased with the results! Not only do my teeth look great, but I can tell the quality is just really good and they feel very strong. All the staff are very kind and professional and you can tell they care about their work. I wish I had been given something for the pain after this procedure but after 24 hours I actually was fine anyways. I also wish my aftercare instructions had been more explicit or maybe written out, but they gave me an email to send my list of follow up questions to and they were answered promptly. If you're like me and it's been a while and you're scared to see a dentist I highly recommend coming here. Even with how bad my teeth are no one ever shamed me or scolded me at all - they just wanted to help me. read more

I moved to this office a few years ago and have had such a good experience that I started bringing my 14 and 11 year old here. We love that it's right in the neighborhood and the staff is always so nice and helpful. read more

Everything is always top shelf w Dr Juliet. I've come to her for years, look no further for a dentist. Gentle, smart and just all around amazing. She just did veneers for me too, and the results were outstanding. read more

I don't usually write negative reviews unless I believe they are truly warranted, and this establishment unfortunately falls under that category. I had seen this dentist for cleanings a couple of times and mentioned my severe anxiety surrounding dental work. I was basically dismissed throughout, and on my last and final visit, I was literally laughed at by the dentist's assistant. I had requested a prescription for anxiety medication, was dismissed again, and ultimately had a full-blown panic attack mid-treatment. To top it off, the extensive treatment I was considering getting was charged in full without my knowledge. Apparently, pushing a paper in front of you, saying "sign this," and then charging you enormous amounts of money is common practice here. I asked at least for a receipt for such an expensive charge I was already unaware of. They said the printer wasn't working and that they would send me an email, which arrived about an hour later. I'm kind of shocked that this place has the reviews it does. I was expecting great care and chose this dentist specifically. I was horrified at the lack of professional conduct. read more

caring staff, great service, quick service. was nervous about going to a new dentist but they were very helpful and efficient

I have been a patient at Silverlake Smiles for about two years. They have since taken over care for my young daughter (who loves coming here and getting her teeth polished!) and my older parents. We have had a lapse of dental coverage for my parents and they still welcomed them (both with serious conditions) and treated them with kindness, empathy, and most importantly - dignity. Everyone in the office! I look forward to coming because in a world of increasing medical anxiety, we don't receive judgement, but are met with patience and care, CONSISTENTLY! I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am for Silverlake Smiles and everyone in the office! Thank you!! read more

I've been here a few times now and absolutely love this place. I'm so relieved to have found a dentist in LA who genuinely takes care of my teeth without making me feel taken advantage of (especially after a bad experience elsewhere that affected my husband). Silverlake Smiles is nothing like that. The team is knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. The office is clean, well-run, and every dentist and assistant I've worked with has been wonderful. read more

After running for so long I finally decided to come to the dentist after a bad experience. Best decision yet! Everyone from the front desk, to the doctors and the team, absolutely amazing! I'm always nervous when I come in but they have a way of making you feel comfortable and are always making sure you're okay during and after appointments! Yes, depending on insurance you may break a bank or two but it's worth it and they do try to save you from that to the best of their ability! Safe to say I won't be running anymore! read more

First time here and I can say I have never had such and an amazing team working on my teeth. So nice and attentive. They made me feel comfortable and no surprises. They were upfront of what I needed and the fees. Will definitely be my new dentist office. read more

I am somebody who doesn't love going to the dentist. I get nervous, I get anxious, I feel solidly about six years old despite approaching middle aged. The staff here is always clear and accommodating, explaining each step of the process as we move forward. The space is clean, my appointments are timely, and I feel comfortable coming here despite what can often be an uncomfortable experience. I have received cleanings here, some emergency work, and a mouthguard. I would come back for any of those feels trusting in the quality of their care. Thank you Silverlake Smiles! read more

I'll start by saying that I am aware that it is embarrassing as a fully grown adult to still cry at the dentist. I've always been terrified of tooth stuff due to having a sadistic, scary dentist as a kid. I told Silverlake Smiles my concerns in advance when booking my appointment, and basically just asked for a gentle touch if we were going to do anything painful. Now - I DID see a review saying that the staff wasn't very good at handling anxious patients, but since it was drowned out by such overwhelmingly positive feedback, I figured maybe that was a fluke or that person was just salty. But as someone who really does not enjoy leaving negative reviews, and wants to love every doctor I see, I felt compelled to write this for anyone who experiences dental anxiety. This clinic might be fine for normies - but if you're scared of the dentist, it might not be for you. The staff are WONDERFUL, especially the assistants - so lovely, sweet, assuring, informative... initially I felt really at ease and relieved. But Dr. Ebrahimian did not make eye contact with me while speaking and was very cold. There were several times when working on me where she'd nick my gums or cause a bit of pain and impulsively I'd jolt or say "ah", and she seemed super annoyed. She never said "sorry" or "oops" or "you okay?" or anything, she just stayed completely silent. Essentially the vibes I got were "god what a baby". The big kicker - and reason I am writing this review - was she did not warn me before putting a novocaine shot in my mouth that was the most painful novocaine shot I've ever gotten. Dentists in my adult life have always taken care when having to do something like that to talk me through everything they're doing. They go to great lengths to make that injection as gentle as possible. Dr. Ebrahimian did not. It came out of nowhere (she didn't even say it was a needle when she put it in my mouth), and it HURT. A LOT. I had tears in my eyes. And she basically didn't react except to say "I'll let that kick in" and she walked away and just left me there feeling like a child trying not to cry. Not fun. And look I'm not asking her to be my mother or anything. She's a professional there to do a job - but she's also a doctor, and it feels really weird when your doctor doesn't acknowledge any pain or discomfort you're in, doesn't explain procedures beforehand to an anxious patient, doesn't give any reassurance, and doesn't even make eye contact. Maybe she had a bad day. It happens. Maybe people who aren't afraid of the dentist might find her reactions perfectly reasonable. But bedside manner is extremely important to me, and since I'm such a scaredy cat, I don't want to risk being treated that way again. So I don't think I'll be going back. read more

Whatever you do please do not go to this dental office. They are highly incompetent. What you especially shouldn't do is get Invisalign from here. The dentist and her staff have zero clue what they are doing. They know they are wrong and liable which is why they referred me to an orthodontist and claim they will cover the cost. I will come edit my review once I've vetted the orthodontist -- I do not wish to waste another year on unqualified orthodontic work from Silverlake Smiles. read more

Silverlake Smiles dental truly offers a very pleasant and professional service and attitude. Dr. Juliet and her staff go out of their way to make your visit as pleasant as possible. So I needed a tooth pulled that had a root canal on it and was broken in two places ( what can i say...I'm a grinder). I am a HUGE baby when it comes to pain/discomfort etc. and having a back tooth pulled was frankly terrifying. I gotta tell you - after getting through the numbing shots (challenging) - IT WAS A BREEZE. Im sure i gave the dentist a run for her money ...yes I may have said an expletive or two and had a death grip on the chair. She was so kind, didn't take it personally and listened patiently to me having a minor freak out. ( I told you I'm a big baby when it comes to any type of discomfort) The dental hygienist was a total rock star too. He kept me calm, relaxed and they were right -once the shot kicked in - I felt no pain. Frankly, Im a little embarrassed by my behavior but it felt like they see these everyday. Brenda, at the front was a delight as well and checked on me this morning. I am in NO PAIN, NO SWELLING and no lie, I forgot I had a tooth pulled this morning when I woke up. Even yesterday - two aspirin and i forgot about it. Granted, I followed their aftercare instructions. Sorry for the super long review but i just felt i had to go the extra mile on this one. Excellent experience. read more

Do not come here if you don't want to have your life change for the better. Silverlake Smiles is the dental family that will make your life shine bright. Dude get down when it comes to his craft. Hits it out of the park always. Dr. G, well she's the miracle worker. She handled these teeth and set them straight. She definitely gets the flowers! I had not been to a dentist in many years simply because I've always been so anxious about dental and medical appointments. I had never been to Silverlake Smiles but chose them because they are close to where I live & I am so glad I went! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel at ease. The whole vibe of the place is great and I loved being by a big window with a tree outside to look at while I sat in the chair. 10/10 recommend this dental office! The atmosphere is nice and they help fix whatever problems you have. I have gotten cavities filled along with Invisalign. The Invisalign process has been easy and convenient. I am loving my smile! read more

Do not go here. They ask you to waive your rights to their disclosure of your medical information. The office manager was super rude to me. She told me to leave when I asked them if they could remove the portion that requires that I give consent to release my information. She tried to convince me orally that that is NOT how they do things. I informed her that in contract law, oral promises mean nothing when compared to a written contract. The office manager made a choice to not treat me without talking to the dentist. She said it would be super hard to get a copy of that form and change it. The Dentist came over and printed it out easily. I cannot trust an office that hires such a manipulative office manager. read more

I had a great experience here when I came in for cleaning and my Invisalign. The staff are very friendly and are very flexible with working around schedules. I finished my Invisalign treatment and I am very satisfied with the results and care of my teeth! read more

The dental care here is fine and everyone is very nice, but the prices are shockingly outrageous! They massively over-bill and overcharge. I only came here because they are 5 min from my house and I needed an emergency appointment for a cracked tooth. Never again! So I needed 3 crowns. I was told the cost AFTER insurance was $4,500. What?! I have Principal PPO and Silverlake Smiles is in-network with them. I asked if they offer discounts on the amounts that insurance did not cover (since they are in-network!) and they literally said "no because we get audited and we will get in trouble with the insurance company if we don't charge you the full amount." That made no sense to me so I said my other dentist always discounted the uncovered amounts. They told me he's not supposed to do that and he should be careful. LOL. Later, I received documentation from Principal on the estimated coverage for the crowns and they clearly documented that about $2500 of those charges were "PROVIDER NON-BILLABLE" and not the patient's responsibility. Anyway I returned to my tried and true favorite dentist of all time DR. ELMASSIAN!!! He provides the exact same (if not better) care for a fraction of the cost. Highly, highly recommended. I also showed him what Silverlake Smiles bills for the same procedures and he was also shocked. He has offices in DTLA and Pasadena. Go there instead! read more

Really courteous and friendly staff, very thorough cleaning, conveniently located. Highly recommend!

Brenda at the front desk is great! Very professional, quality care. Never feel like they are trying to sell you something or push something on you like other dentists I've been to. They're very flexible with appointments and were able to get me in when I had an awful toothache. Thanks! read more

Dr. Juliet and her staff are amazing. I went in on 04/28 after losing the partial for one of my front teeth that I had worn for 23 years. The care and understanding her staff showed me is indescribable. They explained everything from start to finish and even broke down what my insurance covered. After years of avoiding going to the dentist, I can finally say I've found the best one. read more

I chose Silverlake Smiles and Dr. Ebrahimian based on her reputation, and she and her entire team exceeded my expectation. The professionalism, cleanliness, and friendliness, plus the doctor being a master of her craft made for as calm of an experience as is probably possible. The speed in which she works also caught me by surprise, because her actions and again those of her team aren't rushed, but instead carried out with graceful ease. I didn't anticipate writing this type of review tied to going to see a dentist, but as with anything else a good experience is always worth sharing. read more

This place is amazing! Great and convenient location. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Organized, informed, great communication - I will be recommending them to anyone who is looking for a new dentist Procedures went very smoothly! Numbing was great and made for a quick, efficient and fairly painless procedure! I'm a big wimp when it comes to pain and they were great at making sure I was numb for the dental work being done and even accommodated adding more numbing for a side that was sensitive for me. This office cares about their patients and take great pride in their work. Going to the dentist always gave me anxiety but here they were able to soothe any worries and concerns I had. 10/10! read more

The start of this review is what I wrote for Dr. Ebrahimian before she started her own practice (Silverlake Smiles), in which I followed her to because she's worth it! (This is from May 2022) After 6 years and 2 bad dental office experiences later... my Romeo molar got its crown found Dr. Juliette! LOL Without being punny, this seriously was the easiest and best experience. What took the first dentist 3 bad temporary crowns and an even worse 4th permanent crown, my tooth was left exposed. Tried 2 more dentists office and I just didn't like the unprofessionalism of those offices. I found Dr. Juliette Ebrahimian and she literally fixed the issue in 2 short visits. She place the new crown on so quickly and efficiently and even went the extra mile and had me bring my mouth guard in so she could adjust it. Definitely sticking with her! I'm NOW finishing up my Invisalign treatment with her. My teeth are FINALLY being taken care of the way they need to be and should be. I'm getting my confidence and beautiful smile back! read more
