We've visited Silver Ramen multiple times, and the food is consistently good. Unfortunately, the service continues to be inconsistent. On this visit, our server appeared to be new and asked if we wanted appetizers. We said yes. The appetizers did not come out before the meal and were delivered at the same time as our ramen, which defeats the purpose of ordering appetizers. I politely raised this with one of the managers. Instead of acknowledging the concern, he dismissed it and said they cook everything at the same time. I calmly explained that appetizers are intended to come out before the main course. His response was a shrug and a smile. Later, when we were ready to pay, we asked our server to take our credit card. As she was walking by, she told us she still had a few minutes left on her break and then walked out of the building to assist someone else. I'm not sure who that person was, but the response was surprising. A more appropriate approach would have been to say, "Let me get someone to help you right away," rather than explaining why she couldn't assist. I smiled, stayed polite, and let the tip reflect the overall experience. We just got ramen (the classic and shoyu + chicken kiraage) here a few days ago and both of us got full blown food poisoning. Absolutely loved this place! The food was awesome, and the workers were so kind and welcoming. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing with a modern, warm vibe that made it feel really cozy. Used to be G burger now it's a ramen shop. I originally wanted ramen but when I saw curry I opted for a large chicken karaage and I wasn't disappointed. The curry was rich and flavorful with bits of mushrooms and tsukemono. My mom ordered the classic tonkatsu with chicken ramen. It's the first time she's liked a tonkatsu ramen from any spot. This place has extremely limited seating and they seemed to be unstaffed. There was a hostess (I thought) but she just walked away without acknowledging a whole line of people to go serve tables. Then she randomly asks 17 minutes later "are you guys waiting" ummm what the heck else do you think we're doing?? She finally calls my name and takes me outside but I had clearly wrote that I preferred an inside table. I understand since there are limited tables but she could have said that. It was raining and cold outside. Then I ask if the curry with impossible katsu was vegetarian (I only asked because on the phone they said it wasn't) - the lady comes back and says it has pork. I look online and on their instagram and it says it's vegetarian. I ended up ordering the veggie ramen which was way too salty. It was also missing the broccolini and we had to ask for it.
