When I entered, the individual at the front desk greeted me kindly; seriously, I don't even want to say that they train them well (though they probably do) because I get genuinely good energy from everyone in that place. About my haircut and barber: I showed Quency a picture from last year and told him I wanted something like it, but I'm so tired of the cowlick and I want another option. Let me tell you, he understood what I wanted, but KNEW what I needed. He asked what I thought about a style totally different, but cute, trendy, and fairly easy for me to fix at home. I'm of the mindset that you only live once, so why not. When he got started on a faux hawk type cut, I told him I'm surprised he thinks it'll work out since I have relatively plain hair without much volume. He paused and told me that that's his job! It was hands down the best wash I've ever had. By the time I got in Zee's chair I was already feeling relaxed. See herself was kind, knowledgeable, and very skilled. She took her time to evaluate the condition of my hair, recommended a few things, and answered the many questions I asked her. She helped pick out the perfect style for an upcoming photo shoot and ensured I was happy with the style before I left. This required her to make some adjustments after the initial styling and she did so quickly and with a smile. I would highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a new stylist. The salon is only a 5 min walk from the metro stop and they have a refreshment bar inside, fans, and even little tables/trays for you to put your laptop on if you need to work during your appointment.
