When I entered, the individual at the front desk greeted me kindly; seriously, I don't even want to say that they train them well (though they probably do) because I get genuinely good energy from everyone in that place. About my haircut and barber: I showed Quency a picture from last year and told him I wanted something like it, but I'm so tired of the cowlick and I want another option. Let me tell you, he understood what I wanted, but KNEW what I needed. He asked what I thought about a style totally different, but cute, trendy, and fairly easy for me to fix at home. I'm of the mindset that you only live once, so why not. When he got started on a faux hawk type cut, I told him I'm surprised he thinks it'll work out since I have relatively plain hair without much volume. He paused and told me that that's his job! I put my trust him when I took off my glasses, and he got to work. When we were done, I was honestly really surprised. My hair, which usually feels textureless and honestly quite burdensome, was stylish and contemporary. I am so glad that I trusted his opinion and went with something new and confidence-boosting. When everything runs smoothly, the experience is great and that's why I've continued coming back. I do want to offer a warning to others when planning a visit. On multiple occasions, I've made a reservation and received confirmation (which I can show), but when I arrived the reservation was not reflected correctly in their system. This has resulted in me being turned away more than once. I've remained a loyal customer through these issues, but it has become increasingly frustrating due to the time wasted, especially when planning my day around a scheduled appointment. The issue appears to be technological rather than staff related, but it's something others should be aware of so they can plan with fair warning. Sharing this out of respect for others' time and with the hope that the booking system issues get resolved.
