The guy kept taking it to the back and working on it and bringing it back to her until it fit as she like. I also was interested a bracelet that I couldn't fit and somehow he was able to heat and bend it into a shape so that I could. There was only one person working that day, the owners husband. He was so patient and made suggestions based on what he thought I would like and not just the highest priced item in the store. Also he knows how to back off and let you browse on your own but is always near if you have questions or need help. They also can do orders via phone by video chat or sending you photos of the items and will ship.

I take a photo of what it looks like when I drop it off. I am not paranoid. I am just VERY careful about my jewelry because so much of it is heirloom items. My class ring got all bent up and had to be resized. Inside the ring is my name and I did not want to lose that. I explained all this to them. It came back perfectly sized and reshaped and my name still intact inside. I could not have been happier. I am not in the market for any jewelry so i didn't look at their inventory. Austin's did a wonderful job; my ring was returned in perfect condition and now fits perfectly. I also received my ring back within a reasonable time frame (only 5 days) as I was also concerned that I might have to leave my ring there for 10-14 days. I can't recommend Austin's highly enough. I went to the mesilla valley mall and checked out Zale's and they said it costed 35.99$ and went to Kay Jeweler's and they said 25$. I ended up looking for this place through google and the owner was very kind and it costed me 19$(exluding sales tax) Plus the service was so fast and i could get my necklace the very next day morning! it was nicely done!
