Driving home and looking for something local. Silver springs pizza fit the bill! Really cool place. Nice, friendly folks. Large menu with more options than just pizza. Started with fried cheese. Slimly canned mushrooms aren't what go on a pizza. Super Thin sliced onions and green peppers get dried out and tasteless when baked. Very dense cheese. This place doesn't look like much from the outside but you walk in and it's a whole different story. The Atmosphere is that of an upscale Italian Restarant decorated with top shelf wine with a slight country vibe. The food is absolute to-die-for. I've ordered the fettuccini Alfredo around 10x , I can't get enough. The best item on their menu though, has got to be there pizza ... not to mention, they have a huge selection of fine wines and craft beer I'll keep returning here over and over again anytime I crave pizza or pasta... best Italian restaurant in town. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! We have eaten here many times and always used to enjoy it since their opening, however the last 2 times, including today, have been absolutely horrid. The inside is cute. I placed a pickup order. Pizza was cold when I got home. I live about 10 minutes, from there. I wish the pizzas had a few more toppings on them. After heating up the pizza it had good flavor, I like the crust and sauce. The wings were nice and crispy. I will probably give them at least one more try. read more

They've really fixed it up nice in here. Just in time for the quarantine. We've had a hard time finding pizza we like since Mike's closed. We got a pizza from here and it was really excellent. Spinach, olives, mushrooms. Fresh ingredients, nice crust. We will be back. My DH wants to try the Margherita pizza next! I look forward to eating in house when this pandemic is over. read more

This is the PERFECT place to stop for a bite to eat after exploring Silver Springs! It's right across the street! The staff was SUPER friendly, even though they were pretty busy! The food came out quick and was pipping hot! Everything is made right there at the restaurant. They said they don't even have a freezer! Mozzarella sticks are a must for a starter. All the bad...watery, tasteless, small portion of pasta. ground meat for meat sauce was tough and chewy, almost taste like horse meat. obviously very low quality ground meat. they put 2 little doughy bread things on the side of the bowl, so were soggy. didn't eat them. They do not have lunch "specials" like almost every other restaurant. they only offer dinner size bowls, not lunch size, so the price for what they give is too much. the other 2 lunch people were only eating pizza. Seems all reviews are for pizza. No one was eating pasta, now I know why. When telling the server our dilemmas she said "oh well". She could not care less. Grabbed a pizza and veggie calzone to go while camping down that way. The staff is friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and they have a pretty good selection on the menu. The pizza is very good, NY style. Great proportion of toppings to pizza, not overwhelming to make it soggy, and not to little so you don't get something in every bite. Crust was very nicely done, sauce and cheese were good also. The calzone was huge, loaded with cheese and veggies. Very tasty. The only thing that is keeping the 5th star was the marina with the calzone, it was very thin, and tasted like salsa rather than a thick, hearty, full bodied flavor of marina. It's not a show stopper, and I'll go back in the future, but will probably pass on the calzone. read more

They are always closed, every Wednesday and Friday nights we try and order pizza, message says open till 11:00 on Friday but at 8:45 they won't answer the phone, message says to order online, you go to order online and it says no longer taking orders. It's very frustrating week after week. Then driving home we go right past there, parking lot is full, lots of people inside. This is not a way to treat customers who like your food. Best pizza place I've ever been to! We stopped by after visiting Silver Springs and saw the cute little red restaurant. We ordered 6 garlic rolls, the small chicken, bacon, ranch pizza, 10 bone in garlic parm wings, & the chocolate cake. Everything came out AMAZING!! It was the best pizza I've ever had. The dough was so fresh and amazing. The place is cute and small, very decorated. The bathrooms were cleaned and smelled great. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We finished our tour of Silver Springs state park including the glass bottom boats. We were lucky as the manatees were there at the springs. We finished and were famished. So we saw this pizza place. It was not part of a franchised chain. So we pulled in there. We thought it was really good. They had a full menu but we stuck with the pizza. It was freshly made, piping hot and a thin crispy crust. My test fir a good pizza is one with plenty of toppings but the crust has to be crispy enough to support the weight of the toppings. A slight droop at the end of the slice is acceptable, but if the crust droops so much that the toppings are in danger that fall iff, then the pizza is downgraded. This pizza passed 10 out of 10! I have been back to Silver Springs Pizza about 3 or 4 times since it has been under new management. Unfortunately, the last meal I ordered was a calzone and the dough was not fully cooked. Pizza dough is a bit undercooked and the pizza is a bit watery. The crust is average at best. The restaurant has very loud irritating fans. The service is good and the waitress was very nice. The garlic knots were more like biscuits they were average. The prices aren't bad. If you are expecting a traditional NY Style pizza it comes up short. I don't think they are using high protein flour or it's not retarded long enough. Either way it's avg at best. I think I would give it another try if they weren't so busy. read more

I got the medium Extravaganza with a perfect crust and just the thinnest layer of sauce, not sweet at all & with a tiny bit of heat, fresh sliced Italian sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms & pepperoni. Everything was in perfect proportions so one flavor didn't overwhelm another. I guess my dog doesn't like spaghetti with marinara sauce so I was able to get a picture of it..
