My search for quality Chinese food in Kendall has finally been rewarded. Having spent my life in the cities with wonderful Chinatowns, I was shocked to find how you Chinese restaurants, particularly authentic Chinese restaurants, are present in Miami. Sometime ago, silver Palace was recommended to us, but it seemed off the beaten path and so it took us until tonight to visit. And boy am I glad we did. Best Chinese food I've had since moving to Miami at a reasonable price. It is always a good sign when you find Asian people eating at an Asian restaurant. At least in theory they would seek authenticity. This proved true this evening as every table was full at Silver Palace. As I was not feeling adventurous this evening, I chose more Americanized dishes, so I must admit I did not get the full experience. I ordered assorted appetizers, young child, fried rice, and happy family. I was rewarded with more food than two people could eat, and every bite was delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and actually quite nice. I enjoy my mail and will be coming back often. My new go to place for Chinese food in Miami.

Food at this restaurant is delicious! Authentic Chinese Food. We ordered the family special, which included a bucket of special fried rice that 8 of us ate from. There was plenty left over. They also have the best honey chicken. The chicken is seasoned and then breaded, making it incredibly tasty. The pork lo mein has a generous amount of meat and vegetables. The boneless ribs are a large portion and are excellent. The only downside is the egg rolls, which are not homemade. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for its amazing food, cleanliness, service, and family size/generous portions.

I was joining my friend in Kendall for my visit to Miami. The silver palace provide the place for the gathering. We love Kendall but did not know about this restaurant until my friend suggested. Not too busy when we visited. We order the sweet and sour pork in Hong Kong style. This dish is good and sweet. We also got the slice conch with sautéed veggies. I like this one because it cook with high BTU wok. The third dish fish fillet with scallions and ginger. Fish was fried. The forth dish is the fried tofu mixed with shrimp. I recommend this dish. The Las dish is the king oyster mushrooms in garlic sauce. Love this mushroom dish. Overall all the food are good. Love the gathering. Recommend to revisit.

I'll start with a positive: I actually really liked the anime-themed decor. It's unique, fun, and definitely adds personality to the space. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

My go to for take out really delivers. This Chinese…read morerestaurant is near my home and I frequently see it, but had never tried it until I noticed that the place I usually go for Chinese food was not on any of my delivery apps. Consequently, when I decided it was a night for takeout and eating in front of the television, I figured why not. Canton Lee has a nice menu with all of the usual Chinese American choices. They have both lunch and combination dinner specials, which are very reasonably priced. But what really struck me was did they list all of my favorite dishes for takeout and they are well priced as well. My mother, a blessed memory, and still the love of Chinese food and me, and she would never start a meal without three distinct things. Wonton soup, spareribs (on the bone, of course), and egg roll. I ordered these items and they're not just tasted great but they were so good thst they even were able to bring back. Great memories (Sidenote: Dad loved pork strips and yatke mein soup which I rarely find these days.). Moving onto the main dishes, I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix, which is a mixture of sautéed shrimp and orange chicken. Their iteration is not spicy like I prefer, but it's really good. I love that. The chicken is still crispy even for takeout and is always nice, moist chicken breast. Maybe next time I will ask if they make it spicy. The second Dish that I ordered is Assorted Wonton which is beef, chicken and shrimp. Sautéed in a garlic sauce with pork wontons. The vegetables mixed in are extremely fresh and the sauce is delicious. I like this dish a lot although the wontons are these flat things that are a little bit strange to me and I would prefer the more robust ones I have had at other restaurants. The young chow fried rice is a huge hit for me as it is not only delicious but a huge quantity is packed into the container. Mixed into the rice, our combination of meat, chicken, and seafood, making this a perfect side dish or even main dish. There are many things in the menu I'd like to try but have not gotten around to yet. Regrettably I forgot to take pictures, but will add them at some point. I cannot comment on the ambience. as I have not been to the restaurant. What I can say, however is the both times that I have ordered the food was delivered quicker than expected. It arrives hot. Perhaps the only complaint that I have and it is not a very big one is that when I do the takeout order I check off the box to include utensils and plates, but neither time were they included. Again, not a big deal, but they should not offer that if they're not going to do it. So overall, I'm rating this specifically as a takeout restaurant as this is the only experience I have with them and as far as that goes, they are at the top of my list.

My wife is a fan of honey chicken, and the reviews that I read online spoke highly of it. This dish did not disappoint at all. Lightly breaded unlike so many Chinese restaurants where you have to dig for the chicken through a very starchy coating. This was delicious moist chicken breast with a light and tasty breading. The honey sauce was in a separate container, which was nice as the food arrived. Still crispy and delicious. We all enjoyed this dish immensely. The second dish we ordered was called Four Seasons, presumably for the four proteins which were chicken, pork, shrimp, and beef. The shrimp was described as Jumbo shrimp but calling them jumbo would be a stretch and the fact that they were difficult to even find in the dish as I think there were only two or three total. The beef and chicken were cooked reasonably, but the pork must've been cooked a while before the dish and was so tough and difficult to chew that I gave up and threw it out. The vegetables were overcut as well and were soggy and essentially tasteless. Exact opposite of the honey chicken this is a dish that I could never recommend. Lastly was the shrimp fried rice. There were a fair amount of shrimp although they didn't seem to be well distributed to the rice and all seem to be near the top of the container. That may have been coincidence. The rice itself was a bit salty otherwise had virtually no flavor. It was very disappointing. Overall, the delivery was quick and the honey chicken was superb. The rest of the meal was not memorable and there are too many places with better overall food for me too risk another disappointment by ordering from there again. Although I might just order some honey chicken and skip the rest.
