Cool little neighborhood quickie mart type store with a lot of grab and go snacks and beverages... they even have individual Ritz cracker packs for single stack sell ( like the individual ones in a large box) super smart...sometimes one box is too much. I didn't walk every isle of the store as I'm assuming a vendor was stocking sodas (cart of coke-cola on the back wall isle). The lady who was working was really warm and friendly. Think they get traffic mostly from people on foot as this is a small neighborhood spot and in a tiny mini plaza with a few other businesses in a wide yet small parking lot. I mostly came in for coconut water and an odd snack or two... suprisingly they had the random thing I was craving and nostalgic for... a cup/pint-ish of cereal... the elementary school kind... you know the ones! They didn't have captain crunch but I'm grateful they carry any of them... frosty flakes was the next best thing! I bought a loteria scratcher to get the full liquor store experience minus the adult beverages this trip... and came close twice to a nice lump sum... one day lol. They have a pretty nice selection of wine and spirits... would/will have to stop in to inquiry about beer and craft brew... and probably will. Better deals than most places within a half mile radius for sure. Definitely give them a try. read more

This place is a joke they charge more and when you ask for receipt they won't give you a receipt to see what are you paying for. So rude and unprofessional don't understand how they stay in business I guess by overcharging stay away from this place. If you don't believe ask them for a receipts then you'll know. read more

Overpriced liquor store with little to no options, the little Chinese or Spanish lady (hard to determine) is snobby with a attitude because I ask questions to why certain items were priced 1$ over regular pricing at other liquor stores. I understand the location but 4.25 for a gallon of crystal geysure water. She's lucky I was in a good mood today let it had been me in a bad mood her day would've been bad after I was done. So I've seen this liqour store from years. Grew up blocks away and used to come in with my dad to get lottery tickets. Since I've been an adult I'd never come here until last month when I "discovered" it. Glad I did because it's right down the street from my apt. ---------------- LOCATION ---------------- It's located at the intersection of Moorpark Ave. & Woodman Ave. It's right down the street from Oaks Tavern, the Chimeny Sweep & SMILES Night Club... so it's a good spot to get some pre-drinking items. Located in a small strip mall in between a Flower+Chocolates spot and a Nail Salon. The owner is the brother of the owner of "Wine & Liqour Basket" on Moorpark + Van Nuys a coupla miles away. ------------------- THE GOODS ------------------- It's a bigger liquor store than Wine & Liqour Basket and it has a bigger beer and liquor variety. It usually has 3-4 varieties of Blue Moon and 5-6 varieties of seasonal Sam Adams always stocked. In addition their a huge liqour selections including more personal 500mL and 350mL personal bottles as well as a large selection of those mini-shot bottles. Perfect for pre-gaming, --------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS --------------------------- This place is pretty legit. It has a bigger beer selection than any local liquor stores I've seen and they sale them as singles for $2.25 each, which is an awesome way to find out new awesome beers. Stopped in to get lotto tix this morning. The guy was showing pictures of some girl on his phone, and both were commenting how hot she was, while I am standing there waiting at the counter. Once he finished chatting it up with her, he came to help me. He was friendly and all, but if a customer walks in, save that personal shit for when you are in the store alone. I am a sales manager, and would never put up with my employees doing that. Maybe hes the owner, maybe not. Looked like decent selection of liquor, but I was I was there for just one reason. So, I stopped in on a whim because I passing by and wanted to grab a 6-pack to take to a buddies place who lives around the corner. First thing I noticed is the variety isn't great, which is already a strike. Second, as often happens in these neighborhood liquor stores, almost none of the beer has a visible price which is annoying. After a few minutes looking at my options, I asked the guy working there if he had Bells Two Hearted Ale because they had a sticker for it on the refrigerator glass and I didn't see it anywhere. He didn't understand what I was saying so he walked over to the beer area with me. When I pointed to it he said they haven't had it for years. So, I asked him the price on a couple of Sierra Nevada 6-packs and he said they were around $12. Well, I had been there long enough so I grabbed a 6er of Big Little Thing and headed to the counter. Now, when I go to neighborhood liquor store like Silver, I expect the prices to be a bit higher than bigger, chain stores like Mission or Total Wine. However, when he rang me up the price plus tax was almost $17! $17 for a 6 pack of mass produced beer? Ugh. I bought it anyway because I was in a hurry, but I don't think I'll ever patronize Silver again. Too many better options all over the area. read more

If I could give this place no stars I definitely would. My friends and I came in wanting some vodka to end the night. As we were checking out the guy at the checkout counter was acting extremely sketchy and overcharged us by about ten dollars. I had seen the price of our bottle before he took it away and by the time we got it back he charged us ten dollars more and had taken off the price tag. Very unprofessional. I'm extremely bummed about this since we live across the street. Do not purchase liquor at this store, you'll regret it. read more

hands down the BEST wines, tequila, vodka, whiskey, beers, and everything!!!!! this guy gets the best imported wines from France, Italy, Chille, Argentina, Russia, and everywhere else! I always LOVE the wines there classic 1700/1800 wines so amazing. the champagnes are great to. LOVE the whisky my favorites. After looking at all the liquor apps for delivery in the Valley (Sherman Oaks,) and realizing that no one does, I reluctantly called Silver Liquor. The lovely man who answered confirmed that they do indeed deliver, explaining that the delivery charge was $10.00 unless you spent $70 or over, then it is free. They were here within 20 minutes and afterwards I realized I forgot to tip the driver. I called the store to have them charge my card again, but the gentleman wouldn't let me. this place has it all. find all kinds of funky wines beers and spirits that no one else has the guts to carry. make sure you go early to meet the funkiest eygptian owners ever. ask for a recommendation if you want to see an oscar performance. read more
