Solid reliable family owned quick grab store of convenience and adult beverages…read more The inside of the store is usually pretty stocked but need a serious update in decor. I've seen the layout change slightly over the years but it's still on the meh side as far as color and shelving. Majority of spirits are kept behind the counter with craft beer and beverages in the fridges. The have those high selling snack items like takis on clips and throughout the store as well as candy and salty goodness. The owner is very laid-back and the entire family/ Wine N Liquor Basket crew is friendly. Popped in here recently to grab a bottle of something nice for my roommate and again the other day for my other other roommates birthday... Lol... They're open until 2am everyday and share a lot with In-N-Out off Van Nuys Blvd and Moorpark St which can get crowded on weekends. More than a bit on the pricey side compared to other beverage retailers, however almost always usually good for a quick time crunch or at least reliable kind service regardless of stock.

It is so convenient since I live right across the street from the store. I don't drink alcohol, but they have an EXTENSIVE SELECTION OF NOT ONLY BEER AND WINE, but every alcohol that you can think of. I browsed the isle few times to buy a housewarming gift for friends and family. They literally have everything from A to Z. From liquor, to food and drinks to household supplies. Store is nice, clean, organized and fully stocked. Food is 95% fresh. However, customer service is good, but can be better depending on the DAY, PERSON and their MOOD. Sometimes they are very helpful, friendly, and sometimes they will just stare at you like they didn't hear or understand what I have said. Prices are STEEP, but I guess you are paying for the convenience so you don't have to go to the local grocery store. Another thing that I don't like that I have noticed is why is it that there are no prices marked on the items? Every time I have to go and ask the cashier or someone to find out the price of a certain item. Take the time people and please mark the prices on the products. It will be very helpful!! And give out an itemized receipt with your purchase without being asked. If I wasn't a regular customer and didn't know Tony, Doris, Thirteen,Eddy, Jeff and Pablo, I would have given them 3 stars. But for now 4 stars will do . And if you guys do those minor things another star will be added and you will hit the jackpot!! Thank you and will return soon!!

I didn't walk every isle of the store as I'm assuming a vendor was stocking sodas (cart of coke-cola on the back wall isle). The lady who was working was really warm and friendly. Think they get traffic mostly from people on foot as this is a small neighborhood spot and in a tiny mini plaza with a few other businesses in a wide yet small parking lot. I mostly came in for coconut water and an odd snack or two... suprisingly they had the random thing I was craving and nostalgic for... a cup/pint-ish of cereal... the elementary school kind... you know the ones! They didn't have captain crunch but I'm grateful they carry any of them... frosty flakes was the next best thing! I bought a loteria scratcher to get the full liquor store experience minus the adult beverages this trip... and came close twice to a nice lump sum... one day lol. They have a pretty nice selection of wine and spirits... would/will have to stop in to inquiry about beer and craft brew... and probably will. Better deals than most places within a half mile radius for sure. Definitely give them a try.

I've been coming here for getting on 15 years, and I know I can rely on these guys and this great corner store for any little odds and ends at home, great liquor, snacks, etc. They have stuff that you just wouldn't expect a corner liquor store and market to have, like sponges, dog food, Charmin, eggs, tinned fish, marzipan, and even organic milk. it's possible to put together an entire breakfast or dinner from Ringside Liquor. The things you do to track down a bottle of wine!…read more Ringside Liquor has the charm of a local convenience store, but the inventory of a specialty wine & spirits shop... I don't think I've ever been to a place like this that wasn't a chain like BevMo, Total Wine or even Mission Wine & Spirits (exclusive chain in Los Angeles). Ringside has some awesome craft beer, "craft" wine and a unique selection of spirits at very fair prices. I came in with the intention of buying one or two things not knowing their prices and left with four.. Three of which are bottles from this vegan friendly winery Obvious Wines (in California)... I was speechless they had so much in stock alongside classic and well known wines as well. The fridges are insanely kept up and stocked... I spy rare beer from Stone, BoochCraft and Golden Road... just to name a few. The snacks here are what you'd expect, but it's like one half of the store is isle by isle items/eats and the other is adult beverage treats. The customer service was more than I could expect... Greetings, assistance and a discount for buying more than two bottles. This longstanding liquor store on the corner of Moorpark and Whisett is worth the adventure... While the parking lot is easiest off Whisett you can enter through the side alley off Moorpark... Just proceed with caution since the parking is at an angle with car lines in the opposite direction. This rule applies also for their entrances/exits with on in the parking lot and the other right on the intersection corner. Ringside has a lot of character, that 818 flare and that slightly dated LA magic you'll want to experience in person.
