Told there was no treatment and would just have to go home and heal. Roselle adviced us that mom's compression fractures absolutely demanded in patient care. Took mom back to er, asked for a pt and ot eval, mom was a candidate for a vertebroplasty which stabilized her compression fractures and greatly reduced her extreme pain. Mom is now in inpatient accute rehab getting multiple hours of therapy a day. I'm so thankful for Roselle. Without her advice im not sure what my mom's condition would be today.

I found them to be the most receptive, gracious and truly concerned about the needs of their patients. I've worked closely with their wonderful volunteer coordinator Wilda Martinez and their outstanding Dr Lovette and together we created some very useful and unusual things. During that process I also saw just how much they truly care about the people they are helping and how dedicated they are to their wellbeing. I always realized how extremely important their work was when my husband was suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness and ended up in the hospital it was paramount. It was during the "covid years" and patient information was impossible to get. I called Wilda Martinez in a panic, she in turn called Dr Lovette and she took over my husband's case and I knew he would get the best care available. This place doesn't have the best interest in there patients it seems like one specific doctor has…read moreinterest in who is wrong and who is right. This is sad can't even take my child in to get medication that she needs to have another person in the room and to have watch to entire thing, didn't even ask if it was ok for her to be in the room. The other doctors we have gone to have also had a judgemental attitude towards me and I'm not even there for me it's all for my child to get the best care I thought. These people are unprofessional, and rude. Stacy at the front counter is another one that is rude!! No professional attitude just attitude. When we call to verify an appointment or time once she hears my voice complete Change in tone. Why does this place continue to have people like this here. Please don't consider this place please. If you do decide to go here don't be surprised by the high turn around in doctors they even contact volunteer doctors and don't get me wrong you may get an outside doctor that means well but at a snap of a finer tey could be gone. Then you find yourself starting all over. If you seek medication management this is not the place for anyone, I see you only getting worse not better because one doc will get you on things that are helping you then you get another that doesn't agree with what your taking and change it up and you then are in limbo. Today we are here for an orthopedic appointment follow up after we had a fluoroscopy and a CT scan…read moredone last week. Keep in mind that they are not too busy as we are dealing with Covid 19. We were 20 minutes early for our appointment and took a number upon entering. We then waited a total of 40 minutes after our appointment time before we were called to check in!! When I asked after waiting the typical 15 mins. I was told that there was only one person checking in patients and that she was behind. I hope UNMH can put more help on the schedule to be more efficient.
