Younique Events did an absolute fantastic job all year long helping me in our wedding planning process. Meredith took my phone calls regarding advice for the reception process. She and her team volunteered to accept my online shipments at their office so that all of my reception items could be in Florida upon my arrival from Chicago. Meredith helped keep everything organized including inventory lists and checking the inventory to make sure shipments arrived safe and sound. She answered emails always within 24 hours and almost always answered the phone the first time i called regarding a situation. Younique events is very accessible to their clients and they make you feel like a priority. Meredith did a wonderful job negotiating with vendors and the hotels we blocked rooms with. She made sure they upheld all promises they had made to us. Meredith and her team did a great job executing my "plan" that we had discussed a year prior in person at the venue and through the year via phone calls. I was able to relax and get myself ready the day of the wedding and take my pictures knowing the Younique events team was setting up each detail we had planned for decor. The team was prompt, organized, friendly, caring and good listeners. They were really a joy to work with and looking back I cannot even imagine my day without them. I know it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to execute the preparation and the day of decor without them. I would have been late to my own wedding and sweating my make up off :) they were a necessity! we felt sooo lucky to have worked with them. Our guests and even we could not stop talking about how great our wedding event was. ps the team even ran out to the pharmacy to get the groom head cold medication as he was running a fever the entire day, sick as a dog, but with their support no one even knew the groom was ill.

My wife and I used South Florida Events for our wedding, and the buffet style food was excellent,…read morehowever, we do not recommend the catering service for a wedding for a few reasons. When we initially met with the caterer 7 months before our wedding, we had told them that we estimated 130 guests, but it would probably be less. They told us that wouldn't be an issue and to let them know a month out a final guest count. However, a month out from our wedding, they were trying to charge us for a full 130 when we had told them that our guest count was 105 (including the bride & groom). Our wedding planner was able to convince them to charge us for only 115 people, so we ended up inviting another 4 guests since we were paying for the food. So we had 109 guests and were paying for 115. We couldn't believe it and were completely disappointed to later find out that some of the food ran out, specifically the mahi mahi entree, when we had paid for 6 more people than we ended up having in attendance. Those who did not get to eat mahi were given more of the appetizers to compensate. Per our contract we had understood that we paid for more than the amount of actual guests and we can't understand why a main entree had run out before two full tables had been served. The caterer was not only late to the venue for initial set up, but was also very late to serve the food, after it had been blessed and a thank you speech from the father of the bride, to let our guests eat. This lead to many of our guests questioning both my wife and myself when we would actually have dinner. The food was good, but due to the service, we would not recommend this company for your catering needs ever.

Our guests (around 70) were truly impressed with all of the food, and there was more than enough for everyone. We had cocktail hour with a cheese platter with fruit, and a crudités platter with fresh vegetables. For the main course, we had chicken Marsala, eggplant parmigiana, baked ziti, and for our youngest guests, buttered bow tie noodles. Although, I saw those on most of the adult plates too. We also had a carved turkey breast with cranberry relish, and some really great breads. They also provided the birthday cake which was so moist and delicious that our guests thought it had to have been from a regular bakery. Every step was handled with professionalism and a friendly smile. Even when I thought we were going to have too many people for the room, they figured out how to make it work, and it did.

In fact, like many other bride-to-be's, the positive reviews are what initially led us to her. Initially, we felt quite confident in her ability to plan our 300-guest wedding as she is great at verbally selling her services and expertise. Over time, her started becoming clear including her lack of attention to detail, her lack of initiative and her lack of ability to adapt. In the wedding planning process, we constantly had to remind her about previous conversations and details (that were already discussed). We constantly had to remind her that we had a budget and that we needed to make an effort to negotiate prices. We often had to ask for more vendor options, or additional quotes (she has her preferred vendors, and does not recommend anyone outside). She often did not contact us or communicate with us unless we reached out to her. How are we supposed to know what to do or what to ask for? That is precisely what wedding planners are for. She has a very laissez-faire attitude which is quite surprising for a wedding planner. The groom and I felt as though we had no other option but to try and micromanage her because we didn't want her to forget or miss details which would result in things not being accounted for. I found myself often revisiting wedding planning websites, checklists and guides hoping to have what I needed (to essentially plan my own wedding) because I did not feel like I was getting support from her. We really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that she would pull through for us on the actual wedding day (as she promised us that she would) and I continued to be optimistic for the sake of peace of mind. On the days leading up to the wedding itself (when her involvement was absolutely crucial), we started realizing the effects of her sloppy organizational skills as things were falling apart. For example, we did not even have our designed wedding cake on our wedding day! (Luckily, the venue happened to have a cake in the back that they quickly brought into our ballroom for us to cut). For most of the day, she was missing in action and the groom and I had to scramble to answer questions from the church coordinator, DJ, etc as she was nowhere to be found. We spent so much time arranging a day-of-timeline and a detailed outline of our evening reception. Interestingly enough, the only things that went AS planned during the evening reception were from the vendors that we found on our own (not through her). She also left early from the reception and if she actually stayed, she would've realized that as we neared the activities at the end of the reception, the DJ went straight into the final dancing without giving us an opportunity to say a thank you speech. We didn't even get a chance to thank our guests for coming! Many vendors expressed their concerns and frustration to us regarding her presence or lack thereof on the day of the event. I normally am not one to write reviews, in fact this is the first review I have ever written on a product or service that was provided to me. I genuinely felt let down and I am also not someone that has very high expectations or is unreasonable. But for any bride, this is supposed to be the biggest day of their life. To be completely honest, I was deliberating whether or not to leave a review. Then I thought about other brides who may be in the midst of planning their weddings and who might land on her company "It's Your Party Events" and then I thought to myself that if I could save a fellow bride from an absolutely disappointing day, of course I would. I owe it to them and to my conscience. Perhaps they may see this review and reconsider. We couldn't be more happy that we decided to hire Every Kids Dream to join us for our son's 2nd…read morebirthday party. Yuly and her family are easy to work with from start to finish. The company is registered and insured as a vendor with Palm Beach County Parks & Rec so they were a simple add to our Pavilion Rental permit (and when I had a question about the PB County application process, Yuly was happy to help). Most importantly, the animals are clearly loved and well cared for. Everyone from toddlers to adults enjoyed the pony and petting zoo. Would recommend to anyone that is considering it- totally worth every dollar!!

The petting zoo animals were well kept and taken care for and handled by the owners themselves along with their adorable children. The bounce house was in great condition and delivered to us in the morning before the party for our son to enjoy before our guests arrived. Also, they went out of their way to pick up and deliver tables and chairs to us from another source. They were simply wonderful!
