I just wasn't wearing it and knew I would enjoy it more as a necklace. WELL.....they do beautiful work. Family business for decades. I found them by accident while I was at a nearby business. The pricing was fair, the work was outstanding, and when I wasn't 100% thrilled with the chain I had ordered, we had a full discussion to get to the bottom of the issue. Simple fix, just a bit too shiny and needed a bit more antiquing. Malila said, We want you to be happy and not just okay with your purchase. Within a day or two, the chain was antiqued more, and it's now perfect! Great experience, and now I have beautiful new memories of my mom's jewelry. read more

I was driving by the area on my way to Porto's when I saw the Silver King store front . My 93 year old father is a big fan of all western wear. He has numerous bolo ties, cowboy hats, and collar points and wears them every day. Turning around and going to the store was one of my best decisions I could have made. The beautiful hand made jewelry would put a smile on anyone's face. I purchased collar points and a button cover for my Dads birthday and when I go back to the Chicago suburb we live in and tell him about this gem of a store I went to he'll be very excited. Usually the item you purchased is the highlight of your shopping experience. Meeting Malala and her brother has been the highlight of my trip. Recently, I was looking for a company to transfer my 3-piece silver and gold belt buckle from my older leather belt to one that was slightly larger. Luckily, I found Silver King in Chatsworth. First off, the customer service was exceptional. I was helped immediately by Malila who knew exactly what I was looking for and offered a couple of suggestions. Although they would have made a custom belt for me, they also had some that were handmade on display. I selected a really unique belt and asked them to transfer the silver pieces. Within a couple of days, I received a phone call that my belt was ready. Upon picking it up, I was delighted to find the silver was polished and looked like it was new (it was even gift wrapped). I would like to add that this establishment is a family owned and run business of 40 years. Their products are "made in the USA"...what more could you ask for. read more

I was working in Chatsworth when this business opened in 1975 and I loved it than. It is so much greater now. The workmanship and quality is top of the line. As a matter of fact I was in a store in Beverly Hills buying a belt and mentioned I had a sterling belt that needed some work and said well never mind I might take it to Silver King they've done things for us before and he said well that's where we send everything to be custom made or repaired anyway. They did a beautiful job repairing and really making like new the buckle set. Also the things in the shop were stunning. I bought several gifts. Beaded bags etc. And we had bought a beautiful sterling keychain for a gift and had it hand engraved. That came out stunning as well. So this is just a quality shop that does quality work and fine craftmanship. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more
