Dallas Friends, DO NOT use Silver Image Transportation!! I repeat DO NOT USE SILVER IMAGE TRANSPORTATION!!! We rented a limo, for school use, and it broke down, not once, but twice. The first limo broke down when it arrived at school & had the hood up. The driver stated a "brand new white limo with lights" was to arrive. The "brand new" limo never came as they apparently just "repaired" the original limo. We made it to our first destination with a radio full of static. As we were headed to our second destination, the limo broke down with our students in it!!! At this point, the most safe option for us was to get out of the limo and take the kids across 4 lanes to the side of the road, where we stayed for a total of 42 minutes. The driver stated once again that another limo was on the way to get us. We had to call another teacher from our campus to come get us since we had to get the kids back to campus for car pool. Since that day, the company has been giving us the run-around. We submitted the "claim" like we were instructed to do and no one gets back to us or returns our call. Apparently they have to "investigate" but we can never talk to the manager/owner "Aimee." We FINALLY got this response from "Aimee" "Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I do apologize that the vehicle had a mechanical issue with your group inside it. Sometimes these things happen when you are dealing with vehicles and it becomes inconvenient. It was a battery issue, and was fixed within minutes of me arriving on the scene. A second vehicle was dispatched to come and get you as well as myself and the mechanic headed your way. I was in Garland when I got the call so I was there within 20 minutes. I have pulled the vehicle tracking and see that the time lines do not match as this was not over an hour broke down. You have already taken it upon yourself to discount per minute, therefore I can not offer you any further discount than what you have already taken. We do not charge per minute, we charge per hour blocks. Our tracking shows that you clearly used over 2 hours of of service. The contract that you signed states that you understand you are paying in hour blocks and that you agree to pay the amount listed, which you did not. You have already taken your partial refund. If you would like me to send you a copy of the contract that you signed, just let me know. Have a wonderful day. " We are taking to Facebook first, with our next stop possibly being NBC 5 with our customer complaint. We DO have time-stamped videos as well as pictures of the entire event which show we were broken down for 42 minutes. Please, please, please share this post. Booked a party bus for a graduation celebration. From booking to arrival the communication and customer service was excellent. This company went above and beyond to take care of our needs. Price was great, bus was immaculate and clean, and the driver Raymond was great! 10/10 read more

Please never use this company. Our driver arrived 45 minutes late after having called and saying he was lost. We entered a car that was not air conditioned on a 100 degree day. Still our driver was lost and could not find our next two stops without our telling him every turn. Our driver was not coherent at times and started babbling about real estate. We terminated the service at our next stop and called UBER. We ended up an 1 1/2 hour late to our reception, lost money on the bartender. Upset all our guests, two left and went home. Had to reschedule our anniversary dinner an hour later. Pure luck that they could take us. ABSOLUTELY ruined our anniversary, and cost us 100's of dollars in extra cost. I will request a full refund, but fortunately have well documented the incident and 1 of my guests is a lawyer who was present during the entire bizarre episode. I have to give 1 star to post this but believe me it is not deserved. read more

I rented the H2 Hummer SUV limo and it was just okay. They made it seem like champagne glasses were included in the rental by the pictures on the website, they are not. We got going and realized they didn't provide us with an auxiliary cord either. We had to stop for solo cups and an auxiliary cord at a gas station. There were also some fun touch lightening displays in the limo, they were all broke but one. Also we only had 15 girls and we were packed! I don't see how you could possibly fit up to 20 girls unless they were tiny! Overall, the limo looked like it had ran it's course. It was a little beat up. I expected it to be much nicer inside. Our driver was great though and very friendly. He made the experience much better. read more

Booking my brother's grad trip with them was a breeze! He's been dying to check out Dallas for ages (he's a Mavs fan) and he's never ridden a limo. I granted both his wishes. Their receptionist was very friendly and even gave me a discounted rate since he was a first time customer not to mention an out of country tourist. I also got to talk with the owner and driver, both were also very friendly and understanding. He's going there with a couple friends so I have faith the fine folks at Silver Image will take good care of them. Saw some real photos of their vehicles and they look amazing! I typically wouldn't get to the point of actually writing a bad review, but this experience was terrible enough that I feel it is warranted. In early June, my family booked a reservation for a 24-passenger bus for 6 hours on July 9, to host a surprise birthday trip for my father. Family and friends traveled from all around Texas this event. We were very excited to have loved ones all together for a fun-filled day of memories and celebrating my Dad. Our reservation was for 12pm. Silver Image told us that they "are always 30 minutes early." Great! We asked our guests to arrive at 11:45am so we would all be ready to leave at noon. At 11:45am, there was still no bus at our location. As the minutes ticked by, we called the company to be sure they had our correct location. Did they need directions? We were told that the bus was in route and will be there very soon. At 12:10pm, our bus arrived. The driver loaded our coolers through the back of the bus, and we went to round-up our group. I poked my head into the bus, to check that the air conditioner was on full blast, as we had been waiting outside in the sun for the bus to show. The driver only then told us that the air conditioning stopped working on the way here. Wait. What? And he expected us to still use this bus? Why were we not notified of the mechanical malfunction right away? We had spoken to someone at Silver Image around 11:45am asking if they needed directions - we weren't informed of this then? Why hadn't the driver and company immediately put a plan in to place to provide a replacement vehicle? Why wasn't the bus properly maintenanced to ensure this issue didn't happen? Why would we pay all this money to ride on a bus without air conditioning? Especially in Texas. Especially in July in Texas. Especially when the majority of your group is between 50-85 years old. The driver contacted the office to see what our options were. The options ended up being (1) wait for him to drive back to the office and return with a replacement bus. This is a 40 minute trip each way. (2) Board the hot bus, take it to our first destination, where someone from the office would meet us with a replacement. But in order to do so, we would need to sign the agreement. We refused to sign the contract until we had a working, suitable method of transportation. Because we did not sign the contract, the reservation was canceled. Our entire event, my dad's 60th birthday celebration, was ruined by the incompetence of this company. *Edit: In the weeks leading up to our trip, we made the company very aware of our plans to drive around the Dallas area, including a trip to Canton. We agreed to pay an additional fee because there would be a lot of driving. We were told several times that we could go anywhere we wanted as long as we stayed in our 6 hour limit. The day prior to our trip, we asked that instead of Canton, would the bus take us to WinStar instead? (Their website lists casino transportation services.) Again we were told that it wasn't an issue as long as we stayed in our time limit. On the day of the event, when talking to the driver about the plans, he said, "to drive out of state (the casino) it was an additional $250 charge. Sorry they didn't tell you that yesterday." In addition, the driver they sent isn't even a regular driver. He was a mechanic they told to drive us that day. When we were discussing the air conditioner, he flat out told us that he wasn't a driver - he's a mechanic, and he wasn't able to get the AC to work. Also, when we were on the phone canceling the contract, he told the female at the office, "Love you" before hanging up. Did they just send someone's boyfriend or son to drive us at the last minute? The Silver Image website describes themselves as a "first-class" and "trusted" company, with "tenured, experienced, highly knowledgeable" chauffeurs. The level of unprofessionalism we encountered proves otherwise. read more

Our chauffeur was professional, friendly and he knew all the right places for a fun evening. We had a great time! We want to thank the guys at Silver Image for a fantastic service. I took a private car from Frisco to Love Field, the driver arrived on time. The car was clean, the driver was courteous and drove directly to airport. I have no complaints for this company, it was easy to setup and the price was the average rate. I would use this service again. read more

I made an airport to home shuttle reservation through Shuttlefare.com with an 11:45pm pickup time. That site made an error when they submitted the request to Silver Image that said the pickup time was 12pm. Silver Image had all of the flight info and yet, they did not track the flight at all. They dispatched a driver at noon and he texted me to ask when we would arrive. I restated the pickup time in a text and he never said there was a mixup. When he arrives at midnight he said we had to pay an additional fee of $35 because of the incorrect data. I showed him the email confirmation that clearly stated 11:45pm and asked that he call his supervisor. I spoke with her and explained that we did not make the error and she said I had to pay or he wouldn't drive us home. She also said that I could take it up with the reservation website not Silver Image. I was shocked that the customer service would be so horrible over $35. She made the driver pull over as we left the airport and not go further. We just asked him to let us off and we would call UBER. We had been traveling for 12 hours and it was after midnight and we were exhausted and so upset. I travel over 100k miles per year and have never had such horrendous customer service from a transportation company. The situation caused me to escalate the dialogue with the supervisor and used language I regret, however, it doesn't negate their lack of concern for their customers. I would urge you to NOT use this company. I will say the driver was very polite and it was not his fault, as he was stuck in a bad spot. Shuttlefare.com is refunding the original fee and apologized immediately once they received my email. They also said they will suspend their service to Silver Image. read more

I paid for a party package and when they arrived, the car was excellent and they had red roses in the back, personalized champagne flutes, ice for our beverage... The driver was sweet and we had an amazing time! She said yes, by the way. read more

Used this company for my brothers bachelor party... It was probably my biggest regret of 2015! I asked for a party bus to fit at least 12 people and they said we have on that will fit 17 people. Long story short they sent a old beat up shuttle bus that barely fit 10 people, it looked like a rattle can paint job in flat black, the wheels were white with rust, and the sound system didn't work. If i didn't have a group of guys ready to go i would have sent the bus back to whatever junk yard it came from. Customer service just gives you a email saying to write a complaint but of course you never get a response. Lesson learned on my part, do yourself a favor use anyone but this company! read more

I made a reservation through ShuttleFare on the phone, not online. The person who made the reservation said, "You'll get a text, a call or an email from the driver 24 hours in advance of your pickup." I got a confirmation via email, but not any info on a local phone number or driver. That was a Thursday. My reservation was for Sunday at 11:21 AM and when I had not gotten a text, a call or an email with driver name and phone number by 8:00AM I was concerned that something had gone wrong with the reservation. I called the phone number for Shuttle Fare, listened to a recording about the next agent would speak with me and after 10 minutes 43 seconds the line went dead. I called again twice and the same thing happened. I went online to PrivateCarApp and called that number which ended in a disconnected phone tone. There were 6 adults in our party and a 4 month-old infant. We were on flights out of DFW for afternoon, which were the only flights to our destinations that day. We needed to be sure we actually had a way to the airport. I booked another shuttle out of desperation. At 11:00 AM I got a text from the driver that he was downstairs. I told him because I had never gotten the 24 hour in advance notice I wasn't sure anyone would show up and had booked another shuttle. He said he had driven all day the day before and hadn't gotten home until 1:00 AM and, "did you want a call then?" Today I called Shuttle Fare stating that I was going to dispute the charge to my credit card and was told they couldn't refund my charge and that the driver would have to call them. She transferred me to "our local contractor" whom I told my story to and said I was disputing the charge. I spoke with one person who connected me with a supervisor who also said she couldn't refund my charge because "we don't have your credit card information. Shuttle Fare has to refund it." And she said, "our driver was at your location even before the scheduled pick-up time. You refused the service which was less than 48 hours before your scheduled pick-up." Finally I was able to talk over her and repeat that Shuttle Fare told me I had to call them and had actually transferred to this number. She finally agreed to add notes to the reservation and to call them. DO NOT BOOK WITH SHUTTLE FARE AND DON'T USE THIS CONTRACTOR FOR THEM. SOMEONE IS LYING AND IT'S LIKELY BOTH OF THEM!!!!!! read more

Extremely disappointing experience with Silver Image Limousine. Hired it for prom for seven kids. Limo was old, tattered on the top, old inside. The minute I stuck my head in to take photographs, I could smell old smoke. The air-conditioner was the only thing that still worked in the back. The promised lights, tv, stereo were no longer in working order. The promised stocked bar of bottled water consisted of two single bottles for seven people. At the end of prom after several attempts by the kids to call the driver (as they were told to do), he would not answer the phone. Two of the young men had to leave the building where the prom was held and walk across the street to the parking lot of another business to find the driver (30 minutes after beginning their attempts to reach him). Although they all enjoyed arriving to prom together, the experience was extremely unprofessional all the way from the condition of the car to the driver. Making arrangements for the limo was great: easy and professional. That is the only reason it receives a second star from me. Wow, really cannot even believe it. read more

I would NOT recommend this service. I ordered a limo for a birthday adventure for my daughter. Was told a hummer could handle up to 20. We had a total of 10 so we were comfortably spaced. However, space-wise I couldn't see where 15 would be comfortable. But we had other issues. The limo came with a big crack all the way across the front windshield along with a circular hole from either a rock or something else. The carpet inside was not only worn, but needed to be cleaned. We were on a strict schedule so our choice was to walk away & miss our event OR take the limo. We took the limo. Bottled drinks were supposed to already be iced down upon entry, but there was just a big unopened bag of ice next to warm bottles of water. And unfortunately, we then discovered that the seat in the back had no airflow as the vent appeared to be broken. When my daughter sat there, it was extremely hot & she was sweating by the time we reached our destination. Our driver was courteous, however, his phone was totally cracked and almost unusable for navigation. As a result, we passed the event twice & I had to point him in the right direction a couple of times. When the girls went on to the event, I called the company and voiced my complaints. Instead of offering apologies, they made excuses. They told me that hummer limo windshields always crack and they were too expensive to be replaced frequently. When I told them that's not what I paid for, they told me they had "NO obligation" to inform me of the cracked winshield, and that because the crack was in the front, it shouldn't even be a big deal because we couldn't see it from the back. Hmm... I was riding in the back staring right at it. I told them the carpets weren't clean, but they told me that the carpet WAS clean when the car left the garage - basically saying that I'm wrong about what I was seeing. When I explained that the limo was extremely hot in the back seat, I was told that it was just the design of the the vehicle & that it would be always be hot in the back in ~80° weather. I told her that it appeared that the vent in the back was broken, so the air wasn't blowing in that direction -this limo isn't even seating 10 comfortably, but again - no apologies. I told her that if we're paying significant $$, we have certain expectations. The only thing that she finally conceded was that they needed to shampoo the carpets. Apparently, when the event was finishing she did call the driver who tried to fix the vent & clean the carpet, but not one apology was given. On the way back from the event, I had to sit in front seat with the driver and use my phone for guidance as he again was about to drive in the wrong direction. My daughter made the most of the situation, but this was not worth the money I paid - especially for a company that did not feel obligated to provide services at high standards. read more
