However, when I returned yesterday to have my wedding ring repaired (the metal band was damaged), I was rudely turned away because the stone was not a natural diamond but moissanite. I explained that it was the metal that needed repair, but I was dismissed without much consideration simply because it wasn't a diamond. I understand some jewelers may not work with lab-created stones, but the interaction felt very dismissive and unwelcoming. I went to Cc's Jewelers afterward, where they were incredibly kind and provided a thorough complimentary consultation.
