Always friendly, helpful folks. Great if you're just getting into archery or if you're a seasoned veteran. It's worth the roughly 12 bucks or so for a Bergen County Parks card that you're supposed to have to park and use the range. Pretty much an honor system.

There's an optional Black course at the end that we ran out of time so we ended up having to get lowered down. Our group took longer during the obstacle course intro area which was counted towards the time. The driver even came over to see what the hold up was. So we began on the actual course late. You're packed tightly into a van and driven up to the start of the Treetop Adventure. I've done another Zipline course excursion before and it included a lot of hiking whereas this one was pretty minimal. It definitely differed in safety. There seemed to only be one size harness and no one was weighed or height measured. One of the kids in the group definitely struggled to reach things. Since we were in the back we ended up helping people. Which I don't mind, I'm all for lending a hand. But on the other excursion I did there were two employees, one in the front and one in the back and I feel like that would've streamlined the process to move quicker. It was pretty inconsistent whether the instructor was in the front, back, or middle of the group. I also wish there had been some organization with the order of the group. There was another couple where the lady had done this course multiple times before and the instructor told her to go first. But the kids/teenagers wanted to be in the front of the line. They tended to be slower which slowed down the process. The kids pushed to go first and then their families followed so we ended up being stuck in the back. And the instructor didn't really enforce things. Like at the end with the optional Black course you have to get up this tricky ladder in order to be allowed on the course. You get two tries. The teen in front of us struggled and said he wanted to stop but ended up being helped up his second try, just to be immediately let down once he got up on the initial platform. Since we were running late on time my husband and I stood at the front to try to get on this last obstacle course first but the teens ended up rushing in front of us so we were again at the end. 5 of us ended up having to be let down due to time. I wasn't a huge fan of that since she actually lowered us right into a bush and I got a bunch of bug bites. Things largely depend on the group. Things just went slowly for our's and besides the ending 3 people had to be let down by the instructor (which is pretty time consuming). Another disappointing thing were the ziplines. They were pretty short and there were also some where everyone (including the instructor) stopped short and had to pull themselves to the end. At one the instructor even stayed behind to push a younger girl to help her make it further but she also stopped short. The lady who had done the courses before said she's never seen it happen this frequently. I think the lines were too slack. There's water coolers scattered around the course but no paper cups. So bring a backpack or fanny pack with a bottle. Also the lodge lost power when we got back. And we had a longer drive back so it made for an interesting bathroom visit at the end..

I asked if they get any sit in kayaks and him and his co worker laughed at me asking "what I would want a sit in kayak for". I came here on a Saturday afternoon for a 90 minute class, actual shooting time is probably about only 10-15 min total as there are about 12-14 of us so need to share and rotate the targets. Plus there was a regular class right before us that they start only 30 min before us so that means more waiting in between the shooting. The instructors are very skilled however and knew what they were talking about and they take safety very seriously so I felt safe the whole time and didn't have any urges to mess around :-) Location is inside a church in the gymnasium area, if you get lost just ask the people around and they will guide you nicely to the archery area. I had a great time here and is seriously considering coming back again should there be anymore groupon deals~

The world is changing and I feel better knowing she's safe. There were two salesmen behind the counter. One old guy and a tall dark-haired man in around his late 30's. A real wise ass. After I helped my wife pick out a handgun I felt she could handle, I was ready to pay for it. The smart-ass guy said I had to sign for it. I told him that it's my wife's gun and I want her to sign for it. I felt that it would be a hassle if she was carrying it and it was in my name. Plus, I wanted her to feel like it was Her's. She really didn't like to handle my handguns. But he said I had to sign for it. Why? My wife was in her 50's. No Police record. A US Citizen. He gave some bullshit because I picked it out, I had to buy it. I told him I already purchased 2 handguns in that store. But still he refused to sell it to her. He was enjoying doing so. Then I realized why. He a racist. My wife is Columbian. Even though she came her legally at the age of 2 years old and holds a US Military ID because I am a US Army Veteran of 25 years and we have been together for 31 years. I walked out and never returned. I even wrote to Jere Dunkelberger and he didn't care less. And I see I'm not the only one who had this problem in their store. The class starts off with the instructor explaining a lot of basics about archery followed by several practice rounds. Each round the instructor introduces a new point or two to be mindful of which is very helpful. They walk around to make sure you're doing everything correctly and guide you throughout. The class ends with a few competitive games which is nice, and the prize is a free hour of archery for your next visit. Would highly recommend the intro class if you're a beginner. Staff are very friendly and helpful! They stop and help you to give you pointers. One of the staff members was making sarcastic remarks under her breath about some beginners who were practicing which I found very unprofessional and disrespectful, but other than that, all of the other staff members were very friendly and helpful. To rent a lane for one hour, it's $18 plus $15 for all-day equipment rental. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for archery!

Upon picking it up a year later the part was where the bowstring attached and only required a new attachment secured with an Allen wrench. I contacted bear archery and they said they would help band b archery to make the repair. I told bear that band b wanted nothing to do with it so I had to send it back to bear archery. I don't know what is wrong with bandb archery, but I would expect them to provide any professional support on anything related to archery.
