Silver Arrow was one of the highlights of our wedding day. They were incredibly professional, made the planning process simple and stress-free, and brought an amazing energy that kept our guests on the dance floor all night. You will not be disappointed. read more

BOOK. THIS. BAND. You will not regret it. We booked a solo violin for the ceremony, 3 piece jazz trio for cocktail hour, and a 7 piece band for the reception. Silver Arrow Band brought all the energy and more to our wedding. They followed our do's and dont's perfectly and were great at reading the crowd. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single guest told us that Silver Arrow Band was the best wedding band they've ever seen. Guests were mad that they didn't have them at their own wedding. Our dance floor was packed all night. I wish I could get married again just to experience it all over. Please book them. read more

We used Silver Arrow for our wedding in southern Maine. It was a HIT!!! Guests were asking us for the band's contact info because they were so impressed. The dancefloor was packed all night, what more could you ask for? read more

Where do I begin.... I will admit we were a bit unsure at first about the idea of hiring a band without knowing which individuals/vocalists would actually be present to do our wedding, especially given our CT seaside location away from major cities. But rest assured...Silver Arrow absolutely elevated our wedding beyond imagination. It has been 3 months, and people are still talking about them (more than us as the bride and groom!). Add to that they are the most cost effective group out there, and it is a no-brainer. Their system of entering information (logistics, song choices, etc) into a dashboard over the weeks and months was a wonderful way to stay organized and on the same page with them. As we entered/changed information, they could immediately see it. We had a couple of calls with them to arrange specific details and songs (they allow up to 3 custom songs). I had a very specific idea in mind for how I wanted to get people from inside (at the conclusion of dinner) out to the dance floor. They not only were game, but leaned into it so well that people could not get enough of it. We had them play a 1930s Gatsby-esque song with their 9 piece band, including drums, and parade around the inside of the building conga-style, which everyone followed out to the floor. People mentioned it as their favorite moment of the wedding! These were all younger (20s and 30s) top, top-notch musicians. We and everyone else were floored by the sound and energy they put out. Far from a tired 'wedding band', these performers are out of top music schools and in the industry professionally and gave everything they had for our wedding. They also were able to seamlessly switch between Spotify playlists that we had arranged between breaks, to then play live for long stretches and doing MC'ing. And, they know what they are doing- they knew what songs to play and when for maximum impact and had the crowd rolling all night. It was all so great, and such the highlight of the wedding overall, that we are only sad we can't do it again, the same way, with Silver Arrow leading the way. We are endlessly grateful! read more

Silver Arrow is an absolutely fantastic live band that we'd recommend to anyone. They performed at my brother's wedding nearly a decade ago and were the suggested live band for our venue. We went to go see them do a live showcase which was super useful for getting an idea of the flow of the day and how they sound as a group. After that we knew we had to go with them. Matt made the lead up to the wedding really simple and stress-free and day-of they blew the doors off the venue. We were married in Troy, NY at a venue they had played before and we are beyond happy with them. A few of our capitol region based guests asked for their contact info because their kids are engaged and they were so impressed. Truly gifted group on the day with a talented producer for the lead up. If you're thinking live band, you'd be hard pressed to find a better group than them. read more

Silver Arrow Band was phenomenal to work with. We worked with Curtis on everything leading up to the day, and he was amazing to work with. He was so helpful, got on calls with us, and made us feel really confident that everything would go the way we requested. One the actual day, it could not have gone better. They played our custom requests for ceremony and seamlessly went right into the jazz trio for cocktail hour, and full 8 piece band for the reception. They were so much fun and engaging, and the dance floor was amazing. My husband and I even got up with them to sing Pink Pony Club! The band was all so nice as well. Would 10/10 recommend! read more

We LOVED the band. We saw them in person at a showcase performance and understood they have rotating musicians, but all were clearly extremely talented and happy to be there. The main coordinator Zerlina was so easy to work with and we had no issues. They knew what they were doing and were very clear with how to coordinate with the venue and set everything up on their own without putting any mental load on the bride/groom. We got to pick the music genres and their choices of songs were perfect. The dance floor never stopped and it felt like it went by SO fast. I only regret not booking them for longer because by the time it was over, we were so sad we didn't get to dance more!! It couldn't have been a better day. For reference, we had a 180 person wedding in a manor and a 6-person band. They sounded great and filled the space well to make a perfect sound to space ratio. read more

As big music lovers, we had high expectations for sound quality, variety, and the kind of energy a live band brings to a party -- and we were completely blown away. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and easy. On the day of, the band showed up with incredible energy, perfect sound, and such a great sense of how to read the crowd. They kept the dance floor full all night! Hiring Silver Arrow Band was worth every penny -- our guests are still talking about how amazing they were weeks later. If you're deciding between a DJ and a live band, go with the band every time. The music truly makes the party, and Silver Arrow knows how to make it unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend! read more

The band was beyond expectations! I wish we could relive the whole event. The band had everyone on the dance floor, they were extremely professional, and trustworthy. The whole process from the initial phone call to the night of the wedding, was just easy. All my questions were answered and the whole team was so awesome to work with. read more

Silver Arrow Band turned our president's retirement gala into the party of the season. As a small rural community college with zero big-gala experience, we were anxious about the entertainment--but hiring Silver Arrow took that entire worry off our radar. They arrived early, stayed calm when a lightning alert briefly cleared the tent during setup, and smoothly adapted when steady rain pushed our welcome reception entirely under canvas. Their first set was upbeat yet conversation-friendly, letting 300 guests mingle with ease; later, they cranked up the energy and packed the dance floor. Weeks later, attendees are still asking how to book "that band." If you need flawless musicianship, flexible event savvy, and a guaranteed wow-factor, hire Silver Arrow Band. We'd work with them again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Silver Arrow, for making our celebration unforgettable! read more

My experience hiring the Silver Arrow Band for my wedding reception was nothing short of perfect from start to finish. They were utterly professional, organized, talented and efficient in every way, from the planning phase straight through to the event. I struggled early on searching for a wedding band that could perform the music I was looking for, and would be worth the added expense that live music brings. The Silver Arrow Band had by far the best website of any advertised wedding band I found, along with many samples of their actual live performances available to hear up front. Thai, who handled my booking and planning throughout, (and also ended up playing piano at my wedding,) was incredibly responsive, communicative, and sort of ended up playing wedding band therapist for me in the final 1-2 week lead up to the big night, when my bridal brain was just about to boil over from stress. He truly put my worries to bed and in the end, everything was more perfect than I could have imagined. They greatly exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning their wedding or other special event, and looking to put your entertainment and dance floor up onto the next level. Thank you again so much from Mary, Clifford & Aragorn! read more

Personalized experience with great communication up to the event! Dance floor was busy all night.

Just go with a band, they ignored the playlist we created. I wish I had known before, as my husband spoke to them and said that if they just follow our playlist it would be fine. I should have just created a do not playlist, as my actual playlist was completely ignored. One of our bridesmaids did approach the lead of the band, with the list that was sent to them telling them that they weren't playing of the songs we had requested. The lead was rude, and said "we should have been more specific." Not sure how specific one can get when they literally created a song list. Just get a DJ. read more

I can't tell you how many people have come up to us since our wedding saying that Silver Arrow was by far the best wedding band they have ever seen. Silver Arrow absolutely made our wedding as special as it was. They bring unparalleled talent & energy. Could not recommend enough. read more

The best endorsement I can give to the Silver Arrow Band is that the guests at our wedding still rave to my wife and me about how amazing they were on our wedding night. Every time we meet with friends for dinner or some activity, they are still talking about how fun our wedding was in large part to the Silver Arrow Band. Neil was super helpful, knowledgeable, and fair in dealing with me during the hiring and preparation processes, willing to accommodate when he could for needs that we had. My wife is Lebanese, so we had some Arabic music and the band was able to play that for our guests which was wonderful. I really cannot say enough, I am very glad my wife listened to me about getting a band as capable and professional as the Silver Arrow Band, over getting a DJ. I would hire them again (although I am not planning to get married in Maine a second time). You will not be disappointed if you hire them. read more

From our first contact with Silver Arrow Andy was enthusiastic, professional and out to ensure that we had a great wedding. The guitar player during our ceremony, jazz trio during cocktails and 6 piece reception band were perfect. They were talented, enthusiastic, caring and flexible in meeting our requests. Many of our guests commented on how great the band was and we enjoyed them immensely. Thank you Andy and Silver Arrow for making our special day special! read more

My wife and I hired Silver Arrow Band for our wedding reception dinner. The entire process from attending the initial showcase to their final performance was seamless, fun and top-notch! Producer Matt met with us numerous times in the year leading up to the wedding to run through our musical aesthetic, song preferences, MCing, timing and musician counts. Day of, things went flawlessly. The band absolutely crushed it and our dance floor was packed the entire time. They played all of our preferred songs and barely took a break. We would highly recommend Silver Arrow for their top notch quality, musical prowess, and dedication to their clients. They are unbeatable value! read more

Silver Arrow Band was a major factor in our wedding truly being the most perfect and special day. They were attentive to our requests and needs in the months leading up to our wedding and the big day. They were so kind and thoughtful and worked really well with our wedding coordinator and other vendors. Not to mention they were by far the best value out of the other bands we were looking into while planning. We could not be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band that can do it all! read more

Band is fine, but communication is like a game of telephone between producers and band members. Complete disregard for no play list and incompetence when it came to playing DJ'd music for first dance / wedding party intro's. The MC had the wrong input on their speakers and a wedding guest resolved the issue after a long 5-10 minutes of silence. We brought our concerns to our producer, Melissa, who proceeded to say "well the band members said it was fine". Would advise hiring a more local band over this corporation read more

Amazing job. Amazing night. Only the best things to say all around about Silver Arrow Band

Silver Arrow Band is the ULTIMATE wedding band. We hired them to play a Black-Tie formal wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at The Society Room of Hartford, CT. The band absolutely crushed it for each component of the day! We had a last minute tweak to the ceremony, and they were able to help us out without any issue. The jazz trio set the perfect mood for cocktail hour, and the dance floor was FULL throughout the entire reception. Even some people we didn't expect to see on the dance floor just had to get out there because of how great the music was. As a musical person myself, I can personally testify to the uniformity of sound that this band produces. Their arrangements are inventive, yet true to the original track. They have a fantastic DJ that will keep the vibes going even during band breaks. You will NOT regret selecting Silver Arrow Band for your event. But wait, there's more... the amazing experience starts far before your wedding day. Garrett is a fantastic, very experienced Producer that will be there for any questions you have along the way. Their planning portal is next level and really helps the couple feel like they have control of their big day. We found it even helped us to think through the day at a finer level of detail. 11/10 would recommend this team! read more

Silver Arrow Band was the perfect choice for our wedding at Liberty Warehouse. Band was one of our top 3 priorities for the wedding, and they delivered! They sounded amazing and had incredible energy. They were easy to work with and were open to our song suggestions pre-wedding. On the night of the wedding, they surprised us with a dance off challenge and it was hilarious and so much fun. They were doing an amazing job at reading the energy in the room and made the night so much fun! read more

Silver Arrow band performed at our wedding this year and they were truly incredible. First of all, the music was amazing - we did a Jazz trio for our Cocktail Hour and then a full 10 piece band for the reception. They really blew the roof off of the place - all of the musicians were very talented, high energy, and didn't hold back. All of our guests were impressed and the dance floor stayed packed, which is what we wanted more than anything. Silver Arrow is also different from other wedding bands in that the musicians manage everything directly - Liz was our Manager as well as one of our singers and she was really amazing. I think this approach really helped us - when an actual musician is helping you plan the event you get a lot more insight into what will work well and a lot more engagement since they're the ones that may actually be there performing. This also essentially cuts out the middle man, and we definitely felt like we got a lot more for our money that we could have elsewhere. They definitely have a unique process for managing things that they support largely through a custom online portal they've built, but it works really well if you follow it. Liz and team were also extremely attentive the day of - we had some small issues at the venue/with the schedule, and Liz and team stepped up right away without any of us even asking, managing the venue staff directly to get things sorted out and ensuring that we could all focus on enjoying the day. This really stood out to us - Liz and team really put us first and managed anything that came up professionally and somehow with a sense of fun/without any stress. All of this despite the fact that we had a packed schedule and a bunch of special requests, including a joint performance that the band did with a friend of ours for our first dance, which the band pulled off beautifully! To sum things up, definitely get Silver Arrow Band for you wedding or event! You will be so happy with both the quality of the musicians and their overall level of service. And if you don't believe us, check out one of their showcases on the Lower East Side! read more

Hiring a band is a big investment and I must admit, I was nervous about it. No need to be nervous when you hire The Silver Arrow Band. Planning is simple. Liz explains everything, she is easy to reach, and she knows how to put together the right musicians. The music was excellent and the dance floor was packed! They have an excellent planning platform that helps you to really plan your music selections. Silver Arrow band is AMAZING!! We went to their showcase in NYC and we immediately contacted them afterwards to book so that no one else would steal our date. The entire process was smooth and professional. They provided more information than any other vendor and always responded within 24 hours. We had a piano/guitar duo for the ceremony, jazz trio for cocktail hour and a 6-piece band for the reception - all wonderfully performed by the Silver Arrow Band. They arrived and setup so smoothly, we didn't even know it was happening as we were preoccupied with photos and prep. The dance floor was packed all night! So many guests commented on how phenomenal they were, and one even contacted us the next day to inquire about them. Their price was very reasonable as well. I would book them again in a heartbeat. Many thanks to Andrew and the entire band! read more

I had my wedding about a month ago and I still cannot stop thinking about how mindblowingly incredible Silver Arrow Band was! My partner and I agreed that we wanted to ball out for a live band because music was so important to us. We wanted to prioritize a band that had a big sound to fit our venue, do both oldies and recent pop, and keep the energy up throughout the wedding. And holy cow they exceeded our expectations and MORE. For starters - we worked with our producer, Andy, prior to our big day to make sure we had all our details locked. We provided Andy with our big moment songs, our inspo playlist, and overall details for the wedding, and hoped to lean on him to help us flesh out some of the more nitty gritty details like timing for the dances and speeches. He was so kind and SO efficient and make sure to cover every little detail on our prep call. He eased so much of my pre-wedding anxiety with his calmness and professionalism. We went with a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and a ten piece band with emcee for the reception, so the group included a horn section and the sound was just mind-blowing. As we were getting ready to enter the reception, we really thought we were listening to a recording because the band sounded so incredible! We may be biased but we've been to a lot of weddings with live bands and I think Silver Arrow was the best we've ever heard. Every single member of the band that day was so talented - it was so fun to hear their solo riffs throughout the night. The lead vocalist/emcee's ability to work the crowd was unparalleled - the energy in the room was dialed up to 100 the entire night. I seriously felt like I had an out of body experience during their performance of "Shout" and was brought to tears during the last song when they had all our friends and family circle around us. They did such an amazing job of being attentive to the energy of the room and curating everything to make sure we felt cherished and special the entire evening. Our guests cannot stop raving about the music, and my husband and I will hold this band in our hearts for the rest of our lives. This was easily the best investment we made for our wedding. Book them! read more

Silver Arrow Band was everything we could've wished for on our special day. Their ceremony music brought tears to my eyes, they were jazzy during cocktail hour, and yes they themselves layed on the floor to get "a little bit" softer now during Shout. One of the band members even went out into the bar area to recruit more dancers onto the floor. All my interactions with Liz were encouraging and comforting. She understood the stress of planning a wedding and made me feel like I was doing a great job - a feeling welcome by any bride. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone getting married. You won't be disappointed. read more

We cannot thank the people who make up the Silver Arrow Band enough for the amazing time they led at our wedding! They were completely in sync with our guests, who made their way IMMEDIATELY to the dance floor when the reception started, and they kept to speed with their high energy for the entire night. I can't tell you how many compliments we have already gotten about booking them - one of our uncles is already planning to book them for a family party in a few months. Liz, the coordinator, was also incredibly helpful and clear with us throughout the entire planning process. I can't recommend them more highly! read more

Exceptional band. Our dance floor was full all night long and I have nerve damage in my toe from dancing too hard at my own wedding. 10/10. Excellent value, incredible band. Organized and thoughtful. They do it right.

The Silver Arrow Band played at our daughter's wedding this past Saturday. They were fantastic and received rave reviews from our guests. The smaller group who played jazz during the cocktail hour and dinner were great--just the right tempo, great song choices, and not too loud. People could hear each other talk! Afterward, with additional musicians, the band began the dance music. Absolutely great song choices, lots of talent! The vocalists were so good and the musicians really talented. One guest commented that he would see them if they were playing at a club! Everyone who wanted to dance (and even some of them who usually stand on the side lines) were out on the dance floor and had a blast. I really could not recommend them any more highly! read more

If you're reading this then stop your search right now, do yourself a favor, and just hire this band. It will be the best decision you make with your event. Working with Silver Arrow Band (Liz in particular) couldn't have been better. She's an absolute pleasure and pro to work with - she'll reduce stress in your planning at every step, she'll tailor the experience to exactly what you what, and she'll make sure the event itself is something your guests will not stop raving about. Planning a wedding during the pandemic wasn't easy - we had to switch venues at the last second, drastically change the guest count, alter the size of the band, reconfigure which rooms were going to have speakers/mics, and so much more. But yet Liz handled all of it in stride and pulled it off perfectly. Every time we spoke with her was followed by a deep sigh of relief from us as she would just say "no problem at all - let's make it happen!" We had a prep call a week before and sent a list of requested songs. Honestly I don't know how any set of humans can be a walking juke box that knows literally every single song we asked them to consider playing. On top of that, here were some of our more obscure requests for the night: Can you add a saxophone last-minute? Oh and can they walk around in the crowd and get everyone really into it? (oh they did...and having a circle of people dancing around a saxophone solo in the middle of the dancefloor is highly recommended) I know we're going for an old school Frank Sinatra vibe for the night, but can you also somehow throw in some rap songs? (Liz said they don't really do rap, but then proceeded to put on a performance that could have ended Eminem's career) Don't stick too close to our list - can you read the crowd and just play what you think is best? (HIGHLY recommend letting them do this - don't pigeon hole them into an exact setlist - give them guidance and let them run with it. They are absolute professionals that can see what the crowd is feeling, and they'll play the exact right songs at the exact right time while still sticking to the overall feel you want for the night.) The performance itself was beyond flawless. I had guests coming up to me all night saying they had never heard this great of a band at a wedding. And I agree. I can't say enough good things about Silver Arrow Band. You guys made our night so memorable and perfect. read more
