Another day at JDA. Lastnight we were under seige again. I had to call 9121 to be seen by Paramedics, due to someone spraying Mace all over our bldg. It was ALL over our bldg. The paramedics were even exposed. My and neighbor were forced to the exposure between 9pm and 1am. We have security cameras that should have caught this act of domestic terrorism and or assault. But as usual property management is dragging their feet.to address.this issue. We have been reported complaints about 2-3 apts, and nothing is being done to protect us. We have repeat offenders here, that need to be dealt with, but have not for over a year. Were still reporting the ppl squatting in our garage( removed by DelNorte, owners. Refusal to replace), and our stairwells these are guest of tenants, 1 tenant theirs l f( disgruntled), and since my last post, we have lost another property mng, transfered. Now for the 5-6th manager here. For years nothing has been done under Ross-envolve or SMP. So my opinion is if your looking for low income, affordable housing, you do your due diligence, and don't just go by what is posted in favor of of housing companies. We are being terrorized here, and report everyday. They have left us wide open for all crimes, by not replacing our garage door. That's how these ppl get into our bldg. And to exit without being seen. They don't check security cameras, and we the residents have to play security, hall monitor, file. complaints. With all information included and they still don't follow through to remedy the problem. I think they need to screen these ppl b4 they dump them off in bldg, this is not an isolated situation, last time glass was broken, fire extinguisher sprayed everywhere. Light broken. Had 20+ ppl held captive in our own bldg, unable to do anything. Pm didn't show up, nor did they fix all the damage for over yes. Now we have another similar situation and they are allowing it to go. I guess we have to wait for a tragedy to get results. These property management companies are slum lords as far as I'm concerned and condone the many abuses that take place here. I will continue to keep updates for the public awareness, and in hopes that someone out there can help us. We are in parrel. read more
