Never been treated so rudely in our lives! She kept saying how wonderful their "service" was, but couldn't be bothered to come to our actual condo, see it and discuss what we wanted and take measurements! That isn't our idea of "service"! A very, very unpleasant experience! It wasn't as if we couldn't afford anything they came up with; it's just that we had already received other estimates and theirs was so ridiculous, it was laughable. We ended up finding a contractor named AGA Kitchens which did an incredible job, addressing every concern that arose immediately ! He wasn't " cheap" but he was worth every penny! He did an incredible, incredible job, creating a stunning kitchen! As for Boca Kitchens and Baths? We wouldn't do business with them if you paid us after the incredibly rude way in which we were treated! We found the behavior of their sales associates to be incredibly unprofessional.

I found Salbo Construction Inc. when we were planning to build a custom plexiglass pool. From our…read morevery first meeting through to final completion, the entire project took approximately 18 months. Our experience was very positive. Throughout the project, the Salbo team managed the permitting process, city approvals, and coordination of the work while keeping the project aligned with our budget. We also expanded the scope to include the pool enclosure/screening and paving around the pool, and they handled everything professionally from beginning to end. We are extremely happy with the final result and with the quality of their work and service. We would confidently recommend Salbo Construction Inc. to anyone considering a similar project, and we would definitely work with them again for any future construction or home extension projects.

In our case, they were unable to obtain the permits and every time an inspector came, the work always required corrections, and they never managed to secure the final approvals. Naturally, we turned to a lawyer, who discovered that they inflate invoices and don't fully pay subcontractors, while still demanding full payment from us. The most outrageous thing is that they asked us to pay for the kitchen cabinets, which we did, but the cabinets were NEVER ordered! This company worked for us with the sole intention of starting our project and NEVER completing it. With excuses about permits and other shady reasons, they think they can drag things on indefinitely. But this will no longer be the case, because we are ready to take full legal action. For those who, like us, have had the misfortune of dealing with Salbo Construction, I urge you to contact us and join our effort to put an end to this disgraceful practice carried out by Salbo Construction Inc. If you agree, write to me at my email address and I will contact you immediately so that we can join forces: info@enricocortesano.com. We have also filed a complaint against Salbo Construction with the DBPR (Department of Business and Professional Regulation) so that their license will be suspended. We will also file a police report. Furthermore, for those who, like us, came across Salbo Construction Inc. through the pool company Latham, be warned: despite our repeated reports, they continue to promote Salbo Construction Inc. as an installer, washing their hands by claiming to have no relationship with them, and yet they still recommend them as a pool installer on their behalf even today! Needless to say, they weren't even able to get an inspector's visit to test the water pressure in the pipes or to obtain the permit.

Due to our location, I have not used Morton Stones for installation, but I can speak to my…read moreexperience with ordering and shipping of brick veneer. I ordered multiple brick veneer samples, which came wrapped in bubble wrap inside boxes via USPS. There was minimal to moderate breakage, depending on the box, but enough bricks were intact to assess the color and characteristics of the brick. I wanted to place an order for a custom color mix. I called the phone number on the website and found myself speaking directly with Laszlo, the owner. He patiently answered all of my questions and suggested I text him a photo of my favorite samples to ensure he understood what I wanted. He provided guidance on how to submit the custom order online. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text a day or two later with a photo of my order and its various colors. I appreciated the extra step Laszlo took to ensure the mix was what I had in mind. When the brick arrived, it was clear there had been a mix-up with the order. Additionally, I would estimate about 25% breakage in freight from Florida to Maine. (The brick was stacked on a pallet with sides wrapped in heavy plastic.) Laszlo was immediately available to discuss concerns and next steps. Within one week, the correct order arrived, with minimal breakage. While the process was not without hiccups, I am entirely satisfied with the quality and end result. Laszlo and I exchanged ~25 text messages and 3-4 phone calls. Although my order was not very large, he was consistently professional, responsive, helpful, and concerned about my satisfaction. I was particularly impressed with the extra steps he took to ensure we had a mutual understanding of my color preferences, and his timely response to an order mistake. I would order from Morton Stones again without any hesitation.

I will be posting photos so you can see the condition yourself. The entire floor will likely need to be redone. He was contacted multiple times and never came back to fix anything. There is no accountability and no follow-through on the work or any warranty. On top of that, he took a $5,000 deposit to do our bathroom and never completed the job. We went to court and he did not even show up. The money has not been returned. At this point, we are considering further action, but I am leaving this review to warn others. Be careful. We hired Dan to install a panel wall in our Family Room. Regardless of what his advertisement…read morestates he did not know what he was doing. After paying him a hefty deposit in advance (big mistake) it was one excuse after another as to why he couldn't start. Finally after five weeks of waiting he showed up with a helper. The 10' panels were in a 6' bed pickup truck in water soaked cardboard boxes. The apprentice helper actually had some experience but worked for someone else who did panel walls. The materials for cabinets and additional layout were computer designed, pre-cut, and fabricated onsite. This calls for precision fabrication and perfection. Dan and his helper had no idea how to fabricate this and make adjustments for on site variations. The helper had to call his boss for instructions. With the floor being slightly out of level they did not know how to compensate to make a tight fit. There is now a 1/4" gap on one side the can be easily corrected in addition to the wall panels not being professionally installed. (plumb and level) After numerous calls and text messages Dan does not respond for corrections. From the beginning it was one promise after another and now I doubt if that panel with a 1/4"gap will ever be corrected. Don't think that a 1/'4" isn't significant as all our guests at Thanksgiving wondered why it wasn't installed better. Tight on the right side,,,,gap on the left. Save yourself a lot of grief and hire a professional.

I love how our master bathroom ultimately turned out, but unfortunately the remodeling experience…read morewith Paradise Remodeling was incredibly frustrating. The biggest problems were poor communication, no reliable schedule, and inconsistent crews, despite initially being told we would have a set crew. A major mistake early in the project required work to be completely redone, and our estimated 5-6 week renovation stretched well beyond that timeline, with additional workmanship issues continuing through the end. We were repeatedly expected to be understanding of mistakes and delays, yet when I wanted to change the paint color near completion, I was quoted an additional $500. They later offered to comp the repaint after another issue with the pony wall, but by then I simply wanted the project finished. Most disappointing was that their group chat specifically encouraged us to voice concerns so they could make things right. When I finally expressed how dissatisfied I was with the experience, I received no response--only a request for final payment. Our project manager, Chris, was kind, respectful, great with my dogs, and genuinely tried to make things right, which I appreciated. The finished bathroom is beautiful, but the lack of communication, organization, quality control, and significant delays made this an experience I would not repeat.
