They have a decent beer selection, which I like. They have stout on the menu. I'm not as much of an IPA guy. I got the Baja tacos and they were delicious. They had an excellent mango in the salsa. My older two girls shared a Meatball flatbread. It's crust is made with cauliflower so it's healthy. I didn't even taste it when I snagged a slice. They liked it. My sweetie, got the bacon, avocado chicken club. When I ask her what she thinks about it, she looks at me while chewing and gives me a thumbs up, but does not stop chewing. She has an extra light in her eye and a smile on her face. My German grandmother would call that the pinnacle of love. The Littles got mini cheeseburgers with mashed potatoes and they seem to have enjoyed it. They're hitting it pretty hard. The server was pretty cool. He's a bit of an old dude but down to earth, straightforward, and nose, his stuff. If you ask my youngest, she says he looks like he's been to outerspace, but I would say he looks like a solid fireman to me. The service was decent, the atmosphere is great, our server was excellent, and the food was delicious. Totally worth coming back too.

I ordered an extra side of asparagus, and for $4 extra, I received a whopping total of 6 pieces of asparagus. Talk about a ripoff. I understand that margins in the restaurant industry are tight, but if they're that tight on a dish, don't offer it. I am so disappointed (and a little irked), that I paid so much to receive so little. My partner got the chicken tenders, which they described as extremely tough and chewy. Additionally, my dining companion and I were seated directly in front of the door, which made for a very chilly dinner. Overall, a disappointment, and I'm not sure that I'll be back.

My husband and i stopped in last week for breakfast. There were approx 4 tables seated and two new tables of two that came in behind us. Honestly the entire place felt dirty and sloppy. We sat for 15 minutes while the only waitress in the restaurant took care of all the tables including the two that came in after us because she apparently knew them. Both tables got their drinks and orders input to the cook before we were even approached. (We were never approached) We left. With one cook who did nothing to help the waitress and one waitress who honestly looked tired and sloppy and could not be bothered acknowledging us or get us water and coffee , we just didn't feel like the breakfast would measure up to our former visits. We went to Bob Evans instead.

Just past Elvis is a glass refrigerator case with shelves of pie and cake slices. There is a counter and stools straight ahead, and memorabilia on the walls. We sat in a cozy booth and our server was prompt and courteous. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, served with provolone, arugula, bacon, and Southwest ranch dressing, with a side of well seasoned fries. It was quite good with a decent piece of chicken. My husband had the turkey club wrap, with the same contents, but chose onion rings as his side. They were fresh and tasty. A quick and satisfying lunch. Bonus: one parking spot designated for veterans. Thank you.

From the moment we walked in, the cozy, historic vibe with festive holiday decorations (including a beautiful winter wonderland display and twinkling lights) made it feel warm and inviting, especially during the Christmas season. I had the chance to meet the owner, Wilma--she was incredibly welcoming and genuinely passionate about the place. Our waitress, Tammy, was outstanding: attentive, hustling non-stop even with a busy Christmas party in the back room, and always with a smile. Service like that really elevates the experience. The food? Phenomenal. We tried a few dishes, and everything hit the spot. The grilled sirloin medallions were tender and perfectly cooked, served with a flavorful sauce, and the glazed salmon over wild rice was fresh and delicious--light yet satisfying. Drinks were a highlight too. My Old Fashioned was solid (though a tad watered down--my only minor nitpick), but the Sugar Cookie Martini? To die for! Creamy, festive, and dangerously drinkable--I definitely had more than one. The holiday cocktail menu had fun options like Peppermint White Russian and ButterBall, perfect for the season. The enclosed porch area was charming with garlands and lights, and the bar looked cozy with its wreath backdrop. Portions are generous, prices fair ($20-30 range), and it's clear why this spot has been a local favorite since 1984. Hours of operation: Tuesday-Thursday 11 AM-8 PM, Friday 11 AM-10 PM, Saturday 4-10 PM; closed Monday and Sunday. If you're in the area, make a reservation and go--ask about seasonal specials, and enjoy the friendly vibe. Whisky's is comfort food done right with heart. We'll be back soon! Highly recommend.
