The staff were not only unhelpful but outright rude. While testing a typewriter I was considering purchasing, a woman abruptly stopped me from tapping aggressively through the glass, telling me not to touch it--despite there being no signage indicating it was off-limits. If I'm going to spend money at your business, I expect to be treated with basic respect. Sadly, that was not the case here. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this shop to others.

The framed print was advertised as antique from the…read more19th century and on the listing it noted that 5-10 dollars would be added for shipping and handling costs. It even said that the poster had an original tax stamp on it. To my surprise shipping was $99 and the frame arrived shattered. The poster was a cheap 21st century reproduction and even the stamp was printed on!! I bid $50 and would have bid higher thinking it was an original piece. When I called the auction house scared about shipping costs, they threatened to have me banned from this action and others on hibid. Beware of this auction house as it may be a scam and/or false advertisement. Edit: the owner replied to my review and another recent review saying they never did business with us. He is a liar. I even attached a photo of what I bought and I'm pretty sure he's the man I spoke to on the phone. Also posting a pic of my invoice here for reference and you can see every detail of what I wrote is true.

We had a great visit as she showed me around the store then left me to wander on my own. She also told me about the nearby snall beach and other areas of interest. She said the owner was a retired Coastie. I served in the USCG as did my son and his father and grandfather and uncles and cousins. If I were to ever own a home in that area, I would call them to decorate it and give them a blank check. Beautiful selection of art, sculpture, furniture, and all things maritime. I highly recommend them for home as well as gift items. A 10+ Hope to return on my next trip to Annapolis for some serious shopping!

There's a sign above the entranceway about recycling. My kinda thinking right here. I'm sure there were many neat things in this little store but I didn't stay long because I made a comment how the barking dogs in the back wanted to say hi. I was just being chatty but the guy took it as an opportunity to let out the two Italian Greyhounds. They are not small dogs and it made me nervous because I don't know how they run around without breaking all of the fragile things in the store. I'm not a big fan because it makes the place smell like doggies but the two other ladies there were in love and went to play and pet them. That was my opportunity to make a beeline for the door.

I proudly hang them as ceiling lights in my foyer and office. With a young child and new puppy, I don't always get to enjoy such beautiful decor, but I think they look great even in a foyer filled with dog leashes and children's toys. I had my eye on a few other beautiful things and will surely visit again soon.
