Piercings range from £15 upwards. There is clothing tie die skirts to hoodies, dresses, scarf's and bags along with independent 'Emo' labels. Gifts. Small pieces of Indian furniture. Fantastic service. I…read morewent in today for my septum piercing. All of the staff were polite and welcoming from the moment I stepped in. I went upstairs where I was pierced. Everything was very sterile and clean. I was taken through to a separate room with a man called Paul where everything was explained to me about what it would feel like and what to do. He was very kind and obviously experienced and knew what to do. He got it done as quickly and painlessly as possible. They give you sea salt for the after care and explain how to look after it. They also ask you to check back in and that you can come back any time if you have any problems with the jewellery. The shop is also very nice if you are into anything in the more indie area. It's all very nice and good quality. They sell incense, bags, jewellery, clothing and other nicknacks you might use to decorate your home. Overall it is a nice little shop, easily accessible as it is along the Main Street, very close to St Stephens. There is not much parking close by so you are probably best going by bus.

The staff are friendly and the shop has a relaxed, laid back atmosphere; they're used to people just browsing. It's not cheap, but not too dear either and you're paying for ethical goods.

She…read morehad just passed her driving test so I suggested a drive out to a random Leeds town and we decided to visit Rawdon - it was a total off the cuff find! The layout of the shop is most curious, being on the corner of the street almost, the shop itself opens out on the the street at both sides! This was a little disorientating from the inside, but I soon cottoned on. From one entrance you were met with a plethora of beautiful glass ware, hand made delightful wine glasses, little trinkets and key rings, beautiful cardigans, home ware tea sets and other gorgeous gift items. My favourite of this room was a lovely Indian (?) style lamp shade like a metal framed globe with different coloured gems which made up the body of it. At £55 I decided to think on it, but it was beautiful. Upstairs was a gallery of different floral prints, material prints and other really interesting art works. In the other room through to the other side of the street was a lovely hand made card section (situated in the through-fare) and then a gorgeous jewellery and toy section where we were greeted by a lovely sales lady. The shop is beautifully laid out, with exquisite and imaginative gift items from all kinds of indie designers and crafters, and it was most definitely worth stopping by. Prices range with some sale pieces, but expect to take a while as it is mesmerising!

The shop stocks lots of lovely, unusual gift items for a variety of budgets. It is a wonderful place to go in for a browse around (no doubt you will find something you love) or to look for a special present. This shop is always my first port of call when looking for a mother's day present, or gifts for my other female relatives. Staff are happy to help and quick to come up with helpful suggestions if you are struggling for ideas. It can be a little expensive, but makes up for this with the convenience of it's location

I recently made a small order from The Fabulous gift store before leaving the UK. The items arrived…read morequickly and well packaged, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not checking my order before returning home to New Zealand. The store had unfortunately sent me a similar - but ultimately wrong - item to the one I had ordered. Because of my new location it was not financially viable to return it. They did offer to pay the postage return costs they would have paid if I had still been in the UK, but even then, the postage would have cost more than the amount of the item. I should have taken the time to check through my parcel and make sure that everything was present and correct, and I acknowledge that, however this whole mess could have been easily avoided if they had just sent the correct item. Many people use online gift stores to send presents to relatives who live far away, and expecting them to go through the rigmarole of returning an item that was sent wrongly isn't really fair. Also, I tried to contact them several times about this issue using the "Contact us" form on their website, and I received no response until I used the email address they also provided. I am not entirely sure that the contact form works properly, as they also did not respond to my stock enquiry.
