Meet the Business Owner: Zina K.
Zinaida Khazanova was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. At the age of ten she attended The Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, where she graduated with Honors. She went on to dance at The Kirov Theater (now known as The Marinsky), and had leading roles in The Nutcracker, Gayane, Flames of Paris, and Fairy Doll.
From 1990-1994 Khazanova danced for Boris Eifman's Modern Ballet Theater. She performed in France, Germany, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Czech Republic, Japan, China, Israel, and South Korea. She danced leading roles in Figaro, Human Passions, Giselle, La Bayadere, Bolero and many more.
After almost twenty years of dancing, Khazanova then decided to focus her passion on teaching and was accepting into The Russian Ballet Academy of Teachers, where she graduated with Honors as a Ballet Master and Choreographer.
