Many of them have severely matted hair, and one donkey has bleeding cuts on his legs. They also have a litter of older puppies that run the property who are not well-trained, and not taken care of. Several of them have mats and burrs in their hair and behind their ears, and I doubt they have had much, if any, medical attention.

We came in and the lady was very sweet and patient giving us directions in the dark. She made sure the horses had new shavings, fresh water, and assured their safety when we got there, especially since we went to a hotel a little ways away. She was very wonderful. There are 7 horses total right now and some mini cows and they all get along. More importantly, the other borders are great people and we all respect each other because we all look out for each other's horses and communicate at the first sign of any issue. I am posting this review under my own name, unlike the one disgruntled previous border that was asked to leave. You could not find a better horse family than here. The owners live on site, which is an added bonus for knowing there are always eyes on the horses.
