Many of them have severely matted hair, and one donkey has bleeding cuts on his legs. They also have a litter of older puppies that run the property who are not well-trained, and not taken care of. There are 7 horses total right now and some mini cows and they all get along. More importantly, the other borders are great people and we all respect each other because we all look out for each other's horses and communicate at the first sign of any issue. I am posting this review under my own name, unlike the one disgruntled previous border that was asked to leave. You could not find a better horse family than here. The owners live on site, which is an added bonus for knowing there are always eyes on the horses.

I took my lady here for her birthday. She used to own horses but hasn't ridden in a couple of…read moreyears. It was her 57th birthday and they offered to let her pick her own horse. She chose to accept whichever horse they gave her, and she ended up with Gun Smoke and was extremely happy with him. I rode Stetson and for the beginner that I am, felt very comfortable with my buddy. The staff were friendly, professional and well informed.
