With two built in wedding planners this venue goes entirely above and beyond for you every step of the way. My fiance and I felt so well taken care of, we weren't worried about the little things and were freed up to spend our wedding day enjoying, relaxing, and experiencing the day alongside our friends and family. I loved that my mom wasn't stressed out over the wedding planning and was able to help me focus on the bigger things in the months leading up to the wedding. With tons of customization options, awesome recommendations, and genuine comforting experience, Barnett Estates is a few steps above the rest. The flowers, cakes, catering etc. that they take care of in-house are all wonderful. Update: We returned this 4th of July to enjoy a meal and amazing fireworks show at the venue, a tradition they share with past couples each year. We loved catching up with the family and sharing stories with others who had nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue. We are still getting compliments about our wedding months after! Jana and Brittney are truly amazing.

And the only reason I didn't use them was another venue unexpectedly donated their venue to us at no charge... (Good to have connections!) Hard to beat a free venue... Kim was professional, personable, flexible, and extremely helpful in trying to meet my every need. We're a 501(c)3 and every dollar counts in our effort to fund local scholarships, and Kim took that guidance to the bank. She matched what I needed for per-meal price (beyond what any other venue could do), the price for the venue was VERY reasonable, and she was very timely in getting back to me after working out our deal with her manager. I called a lot of venues and talked to a lot of people. I'd looked into almost 30 venues for this event. Most venues are not flexible and didn't seem to care if they can't accommodate you. That's too expensive for you? Aw, sorry, good luck! *click* Others never even called me back. Not the case with Kim and Buffalo Valley. She really went the extra mile to make it work. It was a breath of fresh air working with her. I truly can't say enough good things about my experience. I highly recommend Buffalo Valley for your event. They made my short list for suitable venues for sure. Great customer service goes a long way. Thanks, Kim. --Elliott

First, this is not an all-inclusive venue. Many items are charged separately, including linens, use of the TV, AV equipment, and even certain rooms like the back room. These additional costs can add up quickly, so I recommend asking for a full breakdown of fees in advance. I also want to mention the policy regarding security officers. When I booked, I was told the officer requirement would be at the manager's discretion. I communicated multiple times that my event would end by 6 PM. However, I was still required to pay for an officer through 10 PM, even though the event ended much earlier. While I understand policies are in place, this was unexpected and felt unfair based on prior communication. One policy to be aware of is that open flames are not allowed. I was able to adjust without issue, but it's something to plan for ahead of time. Overall, the space itself is nice, but I strongly recommend getting clear, written confirmation of all fees, policies, and requirements before booking to avoid surprises.
