Once I arrived, I was informed that I would need to undergo anesthesia and that another dentist would need to be brought in to perform the procedure. This was completely unexpected and not explained clearly beforehand. I've had root canals in the past and have never been told sedation was necessary, so the sudden change raised more questions than answers. The lack of communication, poor planning, and last-minute changes wasted my time and significantly reduced my confidence in the practice. While everyone I interacted with was courteous, the overall experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this office.

During my previous visit, the manager brought up an unpaid bill from four years ago that I had never been informed about. I have consistently visited this office every six months, and at no point was I ever notified of an outstanding balance--no bill, no phone call, no email, and no letter. The office has always had my current contact information and active insurance on file. At today's visit ( six months dental cleaning), I simply asked to have a very minor issue with my retainer fixed. One of the tiny cement attachments on my tooth had come off, and I was only asking to have that small attachment replaced. I was shocked to be charged $300 for what I believed was a simple, quick repair. Because the old bill had just been brought to my attention during my previous visit, the timing of this charge made me feel as though I was being penalized for it. Whether that was the intention or not, that is honestly how the situation came across to me, and it left me feeling treated unfairly. What makes this especially disappointing is that the dentists and clinical team have always been excellent. They have always treated me with kindness and professionalism. Sadly, my experience with management overshadowed that positive care. I paid the charge, but I left feeling disappointed, disrespected, and undervalued as a long-time patient. Because of how this situation was handled, I have decided that I will not be returning to this practice.

The office was very clean and all safety precautions were adhered to. I had a procedure today by Dr. Jason Safer and was very pleased with his demeanor and professionalism. I can honestly say that I did not feel a thing and was out of there in no time. I also met his father Dr. Theodore Safer as well as his mother Cheryl, what a wonderful family! They told me I owed a bill for my son but couldn't ever pull it up or explain what it was for. I scheduled three separate appointments, and every single time, when I showed up, they told me his cleaning couldn't be done because of that same mystery balance the one they couldn't even find in their system. Each time, I asked to speak with a supervisor or have someone call me back to clear it up. I was told someone would reach out, but no one ever did. Meanwhile, their automated machine still calls and texts me saying my son is due for a cleaning. I've wasted enough time driving there for canceled appointments and getting nowhere. If this is how they handle billing and patient care, I'll gladly take my business somewhere more professional.
