This one was easy to find, and easy to make appointments for. I asked them to verify that my insurance would cover our visits and they assured me yes was the answer. But right off the bat they seemed disorganized -- couldn't find paperwork, needed to ask us the same questions several times and the entire process took quite some time. The dental hygienist was very rough and to make matters worse not friendly AT ALL. All things I can usually look past and forget about to be honest. But the thing that stuck with me is the $900 bill we got after we both had a simple cleaning done. Once again I called them to ensure there wasn't a mistake as they told me the insurance would cover the cleanings. They said it is my fault I should have checked with the insurance first, there was absolutely nothing they could do and "too bad" in a nutshell. So that was my very first time getting royally screwed out of a thousand bucks as an adult even though I had dental insurance that would have covered everything. They were so very rude from beginning to end and I encourage you skip past and continue your search for one of the other hundreds of dentists based off of rt 53. It's worth it to look past this place.

I had my teeth cleaned at Dentists of Hanover three years ago. My teeth are so nice now!! My only regret is I have Masshealth and I wish I could go back. I don't have a full-time job, so I don't have dental insurance that is good. Every time I drive past Dentists of Hanover I think how clean my teeth are to this day!! They did a great job. Dr. Ibrahim isn't there anymore but he did a great job, too. They raise money for poor, international people who need their teeth done. I sure wish they'd consider accepting Masshealth. I have been seen twice here, and I just can't say it enough - they are wonderful ! I am terrified…read moreof the dentist, but at the first visit everyone was so gentle, so empathetic, explained everything and just made me feel so welcome ! The second visit was to start the treatment plan. I haven't been near a drill in a long time, and have had some really bad experiences before. But I felt so comfortable with their office I got myself in there. Debbie was so kind and made me feel comfortable, just like Santa did at my first visit. Dr. Pronczuk is very gentle and the Novocain was painless, and she actually numbed the teeth, something few dentists in the past had been able to do. The drilling was pain free ! The office is run by Dr. Bandoni's lovely wife, Mary. They have a technician, Lacy, who has been there for years. This is a true mom & pop practice. They are very warm and caring with their patients and will move appointments around to accommodate patients with dental emergencies. I used to go every 6 months for cleanings but due to financial constraints, had not been to the dentist for 8 years. That said, I have been blessed with healthy teeth and try to do my part so I have never had any cavities. He only charged $140 for a very thorough cleaning - a deep scraping, examination and polishing/ cleaning. My gums have been sensitive lately and he showed me that I had not been properly brushing at the gum line and the dispensible dental floss holders I had been using were not properly hugging the teeth and had caused minor issues. He did not try to up charge me and said I can hold off on xrays given the overall health of my teeth. Dr. Bandoni is a thorough dentist who cares about his patients and is funny and entertaining to boot. I have not gone to him for extensive work as I have not needed it but for normal maintenance, he is very thorough and his fees are reasonable/ comparable to other local dentists. I have had other dentists in the past who charged more (one dentist in Norwell charged me $50 to meet with him for 5 minutes after I got hit in a car accident and had broken a tooth on impact and he could not do an exam because my mouth was so swollen...but could charge $50 for 5 minutes of his "time" despite the fact I had gone to him for years) and pushed me through like an assembly line and he is a welcomed change from past dentists.
