Saw Dr. Lai's office listed, contacted them, and they we're getting ready to close, but said if I could come to the office soon they'd take me. Kudos for that! Very professional both the Dr. and his assistant. Found out I need a root canal which is scheduled for 19 April. Will do a follow up after the procedure. I scored him 5 stars for willing to take me and get me on antibiotics and thus far, as he said it would, the pain is gone. Update: The root canal went great. Dr. Lai was very courteous and informative during the procedure. I highly recommend him based on my experience with his dental treatment.

However, Dr. Lai is extremely patient and made sure I did not feel any discomfort or pain. In addition, the staff is also really nice, attentive and professional. Importantly, Dr. Lai personally checked on me later that day to ensure I was doing fine, which is really heartwarming. I would be visiting Dr. Lai for my future dental problems and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a safe and pain-free dental experience!

Casey did a great job of cleaning and fitting the temporary. I really saw Kaysea's skill when Dr Emami decided to replace the temporary. Kaysea started the process by taking molds. This is usually a painful process for me due to 'bumps' on the inside of my lower gums. I alerted Kaysea to this and she was able to make it painless. Kaysea then made and adjusted the new temporary. It was dramatically better than the initial one both in size and fit. Kaysea made a number of adjustments before gluing it in place and then Dr Emami made the final adjustments. While I will, of course, be careful not to dislodge the temporary I've never had a temporary that fit this well or was more functional. Add all that to Kaysea's excellent 'chair side manner' and I want to share my appreciation. My wife, Denise, and I have been clients for many years and, as evidenced by our willingness to drive 3 hours round trip, have been very happy with our dental care. On an average visit he would spend around 1 minute reviewing my teeth before he was on to another patient. He would greet with me "open wide" and be out the door before I knew it. After time this concerned me and I got a second opinion. After seeing another dentist, whom had more advanced technology, I was told I had significant decay around a crown which had to be replaced at a significant cost. I believe if Dr. Tufts had been more thorough this would not have not occurred. IMHO Dr. Tufts is counting the days until he can retire and is on cruise control. I would NOT recommend.
