I always knew their customer service and quality was great (which is the main reason I go to a local company instead of Kinko's, etc.). Their staff is very knowledgable about the printing processes and materials I should use which helps take the guess work out of my job. I am just starting to expand my business into the interior design area and have started to use Prestige to print large photos for me to really give my rooms a unique pop that other art simply can't provide. Recently, I had them print out 2 large format skyline images for one of my freelance design clients who is a photographer (I have uploaded pics of these in the photos section). I was nervous about these prints because there is no fooling a photographer when it comes to his own work but the vibrancy of the final products really wowed me and my client. The yellows and whites in my photos were literally popping off the paper giving it a 3-d look. These 2 photos have gotten be 2 additional clients (the photographer referred me to a couple friends!) I will be definitely using Prestige in the future. Highly recommend!

Oooh! Editing to add photos of the text messages, that the junior assistant and I exchanged, in…read morewhich I alerted him that his approach was likely illegal (as I mention below, MULTIPLE opportunities given to him to walk it back) and which he took to mean I was threatening legal action. Eye roll. What a clown show. Well here's the update that I promised, unfortunately it's not in the direction I was hoping. I got an immediate response to my review below, with multiple requests to remove the review. I stated that I was open to updating or removing it, if things improved, and we ended up having a couple positive meetings. So much so that we elected to continue to work with them on the next phase of the project. So over the weekend (Sept 12-13), they sent us the contract for the next phase. We signed it and sent over the requested payment. I was hopeful! I was mentally drafting a positive update to this review! On Monday I received acknowledgement of receipt of the signed contract. Immediately following that, I got an email that said, and I quote "Before we can resume, please remove the Yelp review so we can start fresh and have a positive experience moving forward as we help you with your project." Guys, my jaw DROPPED. (My husband sent me a simultaneous "WHAT THE F***" text lol) Let me reiterate, we had signed the contract, sent the payment, and THEN received an email saying they wouldn't begin the work until a brand new condition had been met. We were completely floored. But okay, I thought, benefit of the doubt, the guy that sent that email has the position of junior assistant on the website, maybe he doesn't realize that what he's doing - withholding work that has been paid for unless we meet a new requirement that we never agreed to - constitutes a word that rhymes with shmextortion. So I responded that this requirement is unethical, inappropriate, and possibly a breach of contract. I gave him every opportunity to walk it back, and then reached out directly to the firm owner to verify that this was in fact the position that Bitarchitects was taking. The only response I got is that we can terminate the agreement, so that's what we did. To their credit, they processed the refund relatively quickly. So yeah, I don't know. I can only speak to my experience, of course. The other positive reviews indicate that other people have had better experiences with them. But this all does make me wonder if other reviews have been manipulated in a similar manner. So caveat emptor I guess. Because I fully expect they will respond and try to spin this in some way that makes me look like I'm the unreasonable one, I'm attaching screenshots of the actual email exchange (just the initial exchange, because the junior assistant started texting me after that email and it went on for a while, until I went back to email to contact the owner). We had a very last minute order but they were very nice about getting the shirts made in just a day. I worked with Helen and Grace. I'm updating my 5 star to a 2 star because we decided to use their service again as we were truly satisfied the first time around. Not so much the second time. Don't get me wrong the customer service is fine. They are always polite, efficient and respectable. The problem now is with the quality of the T-shirts. I had a very long email thread with Helen the designer about what we wanted. They were able to find the right font however when it came to the mock up, she kept missing the nail on the head. We decided to entrust in the processionals as we don't design and print t-shirts on a regular basis. I also kept asking for a T-shirt with a stretch but was quoted on just a basic Gilden T-shirt which has zero stretch. I was not told this until picking up the shirts and to my surprise the shirts were extremely stiff. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe how I feel about the T-shirt's we just had made. We had 50 T-shirt's made for around $500. I was told there was nothing they could do because the mock up was approved. The mock up I approved looked nothing like the T-shirt's and their answer to that was well you can't use a mock up to depict what the T-shirt will actually look like. Interesting. They also said because I was sick and they didn't get a response they quoted us on the cheapest T-shirt's but this is false. We were quoted before I got sick and then Helen was also away which is why the communication was lacking. I don't think we will be using their service again in the future. I believe accountability is important.

NB: Should be a 4.5, but that's not an option here…read more Our renovation project involved putting in an all-new kitchen and powder room, plus refinishing floors, replacing lighting, and repainting living room/dining room/family room/hall on the same (relatively open plan) level and some relatively minor exterior work. Project included electrical and drywall work but no structural changes. Mold removal wasn't originally part of the project, but, when a problem was discovered, it was handled thoroughly and expeditiously. The good: Overall, the finished project looks great and all the changes we made to our kitchen/main floor work well. Coordination between the design and the construction teams was good and we ended up working with great people on each side. Colleen, who helped us with kitchen design, was very good at laying out/generating alternatives and flagging pros and cons. She was focussed on our objectives and kept working until they were met. Fabricio held down the fort on the construction side. In addition to being a skilled craftsman with high standards, he is someone who is always looking for ways to make things better. He thinks ahead and has a problem-solving mindset. We always felt that he was treating our home the way he would his own. What fell short of perfection: probably worth bearing in mind that this was our first renovation project so it's not a comparative assessment. We've heard other peoples' horror stories and our issues were minor/mostly resolved in real time. That said, two pieces of advice: (1) Make sure the designer you are working with is a good match. If not, ask for someone else. Landis has multiple designers on staff. (2) If you are moving out for renovations, give yourself a cushion (more than a month on each end) wrt alternative arrangements for housing.
