I am so happy. I bought three stainless steel cuff bracelets off the Internet to give to my…read moredaughters as a gift for Valentine's Day. I wanted to make them special by getting them engraved with their names on each of the bracelets. I called Laser Mark's and I spoke to Jacob who let me know that the laser is flat and they may not be able to engrave a curved bracelet. However, he agreed to let me bring the bracelet cuffs into his shop so he could look at them to determine if it would be possible. He let me know that it may not work but he was willing to try engraving them. I told him that I was willing to risk it since the bracelets were inexpensive and I could purchase them again if it didn't turn out. I am so happy that I took the risk because the bracelets look so much better with the girls' names engraved on them and it makes the gifts more personal. Jacob took special care to put a black tape over the area on the bracelet that was to be engraved to test over the tape so I could see how the name would appear and give my approval before doing the actual engraving. It was a cool process and fun to participate in.

All the local engravers, laser and a few diamond drag, said they couldn't do it and they didn't know anyone who could. One suggested I try the bay area. I expanded my search and found Bay Stamp and Engraving. Talking to Paul on the phone, I knew I found the right place. He assured me he understood exactly what I needed and that he had the equipment and experience to do it. It was an hour drive to Vacaville, but worth it. Just when I was about to give up hope that anyone could carve into real brass and not just a thin sheet, Bay Stamp got the job done exactly the way I wanted, even texting me pics of alternate font ideas (which I utilized).

Additionally they will ensure it is completely sealed on the edges since the opal is bezel. I will not recommended this place any more to friends as the expertise is no longer there. Plus I am surprised there was a piece of paper to make the opal shine more and there should never be a small hole to let in dirt and not able to clean at home.

It seemed excessive but I said ok. He took out the pin that held band together and said "This is what happens when you try to change your own battery, why would you change your own battery?" In an insulting and arrogant voice. I explained that I took to Cousins, where I'd been going for 30 years. He tried it for 10 seconds, said he couldn't fix it. He handed me back the watch, without the pin, band still unattached and said nope. It was a cheap watch for 5 years service at HPE, so I just dumped it in the trash and left. The guy has no customer skills, doesn't know squat about fixing watches and was a complete dick! Do not go to this dump!
