I recently moved to the neighborhood and decided to try this nail spa. I've been there twice for manicures and pedicures. The first visit I got regular polish--it chipped and peeled after just three days. Thinking gel would be better, I upgraded on my second visit, but it barely lasted five days before lifting and chipping. Both times the application was sloppy: uneven edges, polish on my cuticles, and an overall finish that looked amateurish. For reference, the last gel manicure I got back in my hometown lasted a full three weeks with zero issues. Honestly, I can do a cleaner, longer-lasting job myself. Terrible experience, went in for a gel toenail color change giving him an example of the colored French manicure on my fingernails asking for a match the original painting look like kindergarten painting and when I asked him to redo it I ended up with plain white nails that were not covering my whole nail and paint on my skin. He was unable to paint a straight line for the French manicure. My phone asking him to redo them I ended up with plain white nails that he would not put a design on and would not refund my money so I had to go to another salon to have them redone again paying a lot of money ultimately in the end. read more

Took my 16 y/o daughter in today. Her nails had grown out so she wanted to have the tops soaked off and have her natural nails shaped and painted. I was in another room getting mine painted. I come around the corner and my daughters is trying very hard not to cry. This chick using a nail to PRY off the tips. Her nail beds are completely ruined and the nails are torn. Wanted to leave right then but it's Christmas Eve and she couldn't leave them like that. We thought the worst was over. Bad choice, we should've left, not only was she rude and mean to my daughter, she said soaking them takes too long when I asked what she was doing. Cindy is the best! Been going to her for nails & pedicures for over a year now. I am always happy with what I have done. I mainly do pink & white on both fingers and toes as I like the natural look. My nails last at least 3 weeks even though I garden, clean house, work with and care for horses, and refinish furniture in my spare time. Pedi should take 35-40 minutes for deluxe, this one took 15 minutes after waiting 40 minutes. It would be nice if Johnny greeted the men in there as well as the women, we are paying customers also. Overall, rushed service, not punctual, and not friendly at all. Let start with the positives -- I was in and out. The not-so-positive? I don't really like the way they did my brows. I get that efficiency is the name of the game but the quick service was too good to be true. Now that I'm looking at my brows, I'm seeing all sorts of imperfections and I can't even say it looks like I had them done. Paid for a deluxe pedicure that lasted for 30 minutes. The old menu stated regular pedi 30mins., deluxe 45. We decided to check this place out. It was a one and done. Since when has it been acceptable to charge to take off police. My deluxe pedicure was anything but deluxe! She even missed painting half of a nail. Once I told her that I was not going to get gel because I think paying an extra 20.00 for gel is absurd, she charged me to take off my existing gel. She was going to have to take color off my nail either way! so for 42.00 I didn't even get my toe nails shaped, or hot stones! These are mostly basic at other salons. My daughter paid 150.00 for my full set, her dip ( then ended up doing acrylic overlay after convincing her it was better) then charging her to take off said dip she already had on, and eye brows. Way over priced for the little they do and charging to do things that are part of the process! In addition, they will stop a customer to take an appointment. One tech left a customer sitting in the pedicure chair for at least 10 mins without coming back! read more

I have been to plenty of there nail techs for my toes and never had a complaint and I am pretty particular when it comes to my nails and toes ! I should have followed the reviews and my gut and passed on this place... but I was in a time crunch and it was close to home. You walk in and while it's clean and pretty, the smell of chemicals is enough to knock you off of your feet. I got a pedicure and while the leg massage was good, she filed my toe nails unevenly and the polish job was not great. I tried to explain that I had polish on my toe and cuticle but she didn't really understand what I was saying. I will not return. read more

Very disappointed with this salon. I requested a deluxe pedicure, which I was charged $50 for, but I was done and out the door in 40 minutes. I am used to extra massage time or hot stones for that price, but it was just a basic pedicure with something added to the water. The paint job is awful and after the woman was finished, she fanned my nails for 30 seconds, put my sandals on my feet, got up and handed me my water bottle and purse to usher me to the front desk. Absolutely no drying time, so when I got in my car I dinged my big toe and messed up the polish even more. Will never return to this salon. Really, the best pedicure I've ever had, the technician spent so much time and was very thorough. Had a gel manicure as well, and also a great job, very quick and everyone there was so nice. The salon itself was very clean, autoclave in view and tools were in sterilized packaging correctly. Prices were very reasonable for the services offered. I think the older reviews are just that, older, and the salon is no longer like it apparently was. I would recommend and definitely will go back! read more

I have to say I was extremely satisfied with my experience at this salon. The prices are a bit higher than most, but they have 10 pedi and 10 mani stations, plenty of workers who actually speak to you and carry on a conversation, and the deluxe pedi with chocolate mask was awesome ($30) and mani was very good ($12). Han earned a great tip. Most importantly, she tore open a new set of nail implements for my service, which is very important to me. One infection from dirty nail tools will make this mandatory for you too. I will be back! ! read more

I was not impressed with this place whatsoever! The ladies were nice however their work is horrible. We asked for regular pedicures and they charged us $25 for his instead of $23 and since I got French tip they charged me $35 instead of a normal $5 up charge and for my daughter's hand and toes I don't even know what they charged us. Their nail polish wasn't the best, it seems like they added stuff to the nail polish because they had to add several coats of the white nail polish to make the color more noticeable and they don't put a final coat just the clear and it's only one coat. Needles to say I will not be returning to this place. read more

Signal Nails is right next to home and I noticed the poor reviews were all old so, I gave it a shot. This is my return visit for a fill and pedi. Tyson applied a full set a few weeks ago. I was told my total would be one price and it turned out to be even more, AND my gel manicure is already wearing off at the tips just a few days later (which I have never experienced before with gel nails). I was a customer of this salon for many years. Helen, my technician, did a great job and followed the hygienic standards. She left a salon, and I had service with Hanna. She wanted to work with my toes by using non-sterile tools. I asked her to use tools from a sterilized package. She was not happy, but brought a sterilized package. However, when Hanna did start to work with my fingers, she brought nippers from her basket. I asked where did she take it, Hanna said that this is a sterilized instrument. I am a medical person and understood that Hanna LIES to me, but I was afraid to be so intrusive and was hoping that she will not cut my cuticle to blood, but I was wrong. Hanna did cut my cuticle to blood. So, I am writing this review to warn customers that NOT everyone in this salon follows the rules, does NOT use sterilized packages, can LIE to you, and therefore can put your health at serious risk. This place is awful. Majority of the staff has no idea what they're doing. I've never left feeling happy with the job they've done. Also have gotten a bad reaction whenever I got a pedicure there. The last time I went the guy was talking in another language to the guy next to him , while he was using a tool on my nail, and because he wasn't looking he cut my finger. I gave this salon 5 stars because they always do a great job and take their time even if there's a line at the door. Beyond that, they are very knowledgable and have taught me better ways to care for my nails at home. All of the technicians I've been to have been friendly and welcoming.
