You can see what they have in stock on their website, but it's also fun to browse the shop in person. I think the prices are reasonable for a small, local boutique store, nothing outrageous. We were the ONLY other people in the store. We were there for a good twenty minutes, walking back and forth a couple of times checking out the store. It was so odd. My husband is super low-key and relaxed and even he thought it was weird. The couple couldn't even move to the side to let us pass them to go through to see the other room. We had to cut through an awkward space by a Christmas tree. The store is connected to the rug store and they were so great by comparison. We ended up buying a rug from them. We would find decent pieces but they'd always be too short or too wide. It seemed like the perfect piece was going to be impossible to find and we were about to settle on something we didn't love when we stumbled about Alex at Rework Finishings. Alex walked us through some options where he would create a piece for us based on exactly what we wanted. It seemed too good to be true. We took a leap and decided to commission the piece at what was a very fair rate. Just a few weeks later our gorgeous new table was delivered and it blew away our expectations! We had the exact look we desired and paid less than if we had purchased from a high end furniture retailer. We could not be happier with our experience with Rework! We are looking forward to finding another project for our home so that Rework can build us another awesome custom piece!

I was greeted by a kind young man who talked through some the background of the store with me. However when the owner of the store, an older lady with a slight European accent, appeared, she was rather rude. My experience with her was similar to other reviewers of this particular Roche Bobois: aggressively told not to touch or look at the price in strident tones, watched like a hawk so that I felt extremely uncomfortable browsing, and made to feel unwelcome due to my younger age. Clearly she didn't feel the need to be polite since she didn't think I was a real customer, and thanks to her behavior, I certainly do not intend to become one. While the home furnishings are wonderful and I've become inspired by some of the designs I saw, I'd much rather give my business to another Roche Babois with better customer service.
