We saw the helicopter land, pilots get out, come into the building and then we never saw them again. They did not even go to the front desk to ask if anyone was waiting for them. Joe is a great pilot and a super nice guy, me being a car guy Joe noticed my interest in all the instruments and what was involved in flying his helicopter and pretty much gave me my first lesson as well as a cool scenic ride. My Wife and I had our 6 year old Granddaughter with us and Joe made sure she was safe and that she had a great experience. It's something she will talk about for years to come. I didn't check on fuel prices or if they even offered fuel. I stopped in for the Vintage fly in and it is a very nice grass runway. It is one of the first grass runways I have seen with runway lighting. Not far from town and I really enjoyed my visit. I will be back, hopefully next time the weather will be nicer and I can stay longer.
