I decided I wanted to grow my hair longer again and my wife said the girls she works with recommend Hair Works and saw Nikki who said she was good with curly hair. I figured it would take a couple of times to get it right as it was growing out, and my hair thinner than it used to be. After seeing her twice @ Hair Works, I was fairly happy with the results. The third time I went to see her I found out that she had gone to Hair Therapy. When I called for an appointment she was booked for a solid week. It was getting long, but all I could do was wait. When Saturday finally came and I went to get my cut, it looked ok when I left, but there was a lot of product in it (which I try not to use much) and by the next day after it dried from my shower it was evident how BAD it was! I had told her not to touch the back but I allowed her to even it up. When I saw it the next day the whole haircut was terrible. The back was way short and the left side much shorter than the right as was the rest of it the same. The whole right side was long and uneven, I looked like a mushroom... I had to wait another week to get it fixed elsewhere and walk around like that at work.. The girl who fixed it was shocked at how bad the job was, but did an awesome job fixing it up. I still need to let it grow out some and have it trimmed, but it's better now. Bottom line, Nikki might be ok with other types of hair, but in my experience with her, not curly.. at all. I won't be going back. Idk about the rest of the place.

I wouldn't feel comfortable sending someone here on my recommendation. Maybe the vibe is different when it isn't the holiday season but wanted to share the feedback for folks who wouldn't be comfortable!

Abbagail was awesome asking my allergies, and explained every time when a product will be applied to my face, the potential effect such as temporary tingling, and offered options based on my needs. My shoulder and hand treatment was also fabulous. After my facial was finished, she immediately handed me bottled water. My face is so glowing according to my mom afterwards. The duration is as described. Last time there was an error with the third party booking app indicating the wrong duration. This time all resolved and I appreciate the communication and their willingness to address the concerns and make customers happy with their experience here.

I was not greeted when I came in (yes, she was with someone but she didn't even make eye contact with me, nod or acknowledge me in any way). She was very friendly with the girl she was helping but when she went to help me she seemed really cold. No smile, no "how's your day", nothing. It was the same way when I left. She didn't ask me how my service was or invite me back or to re-book. I'm hoping she was just having an off day. That said, my pedicure was absolutely wonderful! My nail tech explained all the services they offer, she did a very relaxed, caring and beautiful pedicure and it's holding up incredibly well. The nail tech was friendly and so sweet. She made me feel like I was getting a pedicure from a friend, not a new stranger. That said, she didn't overdo the conversation. It didn't feel forced or sales-y. We had a great conversation and I will definitely be booking all of my pedicures with her from now on. The price was incredibly reasonable too. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive for me. I've already scheduled a facial to try their facial services out and look forward to that. The young woman who did my pedicure also does facials (but unfortunately her schedule didn't work with mine the day I needed it to). I'm hoping I find a second rock star at this place. One of the nicest Inns you will find in the whole state of Georgia. We arrived up the drive to see…read morebaby deer playing around the property. The Inn has lots of lavender planted on the grounds that smells wonderful in the morning. Breakfast is amazing and served daily at 8:30AM by the proprietors Stuart and Scott which are incredibly friendly and welcoming to me and my wife. Our suite had a very comfortable bed with all the amenities in our spacious room. Would recommend if you want to get away from it all and relax.
