I ordered 200 copies of an 8-page self-cover memorial program (full color, double-sided, folded and saddle-stitched) for a Saturday pickup before a Sunday funeral service. The Problems: Unclear Quotes & Shifting Terms: The manager quoted me on two different paper options he said he "couldn't do"--yet gave the same price for both. When I questioned why the paper choice didn't affect pricing, he offered a third option at $70 less, but tacked on a 25% expedited fee since he "might not make Saturday." Worthless Invoice: The printed invoice had no order details--no paper type, weight, bleed specifications, or mention of the expedited charge. When I pointed out the errors, he refused to reprint it, claiming what was "in the computer" was all that mattered. This lack of documentation created serious problems later. Wrong Order Delivered: When I called Saturday at noon (no call from them), staff couldn't even find the order--it was filed under a different name. When I picked up the obituaries, they weren't full bleed and weren't cover weight as originally ordered. The manager had completed the work Thursday afternoon but never called to confirm the changes. Poor Customer Service: The manager was arrogant and dismissive, even rude to other customers. He flashed his manager's badge as if that excused his behavior. Only the second manager who helped at pickup showed professionalism and genuine apology--but without proper documentation, he couldn't even verify what had been ordered versus delivered.
