They are also demanding that you fill out the same insurance paperwork at every visit and take a photo of your drivers' license and insurance card and upload it. The person at the front refused to take my ID or insurance card and insisted that I do it myself despite that fact that my kids have been in this clinic 4x in 6 weeks. It's a really frustrating process and the front desk person was not friendly.

He would ask questions such as do you get sick a lot. Do you have allergies things that I felt like he should already have known if he had looked at my chart. I think he just is in it for the money, he does not seem to actually care, especially when you call to see if your health insurance is covered because you have to get new insurance then to be told the only way they will allow you to know is if you make an appointment first and pay upfront. Stay away. there are better doctors and staff at other offices in the city that actually care.

So, I haphazardly scheduled a 2pm appointment while trying to leave my house at 145. For once in my time in San Antonio, everyone on Huebner decided to obey the speed limit. Somehow I managed to make it by 201pm. Online scheduling was a breeze and all my info was still in there from that last time I came in with the same symptoms. The front desk staff that checked me in was professional and friendly. She politely asked if she was saying my last name correctly which I appreciated (I've been called many last names in my life). The staff that called me back, I think she said her name was Lye (?), was super nice. She took my symptoms down, took my blood pressure, and explained that COVID is on the rise again since school was back in session. She explained how symptoms are presenting and I knew exactly how I contracted it. Then I was seen by either a PA or NP. He was fast and efficient, but a little difficult to understand. Maybe in my brain fog state, I couldn't follow his fast talking. The sent my prescription to HEB and I was on my way. The facility was quiet, clean, and felt relaxing. I was in and out within 35 minutes. I hope I don't have to come back, but I'm glad to know it's close by if I need it.

We only have tele health services. I said that's great! I will sit in my car and wait for my turn for telegraph. She then corrects herself and says they don't have a doctor. I asked how long their entire system has been down and she says 30 minutes. I made my appointment through the patient portal online at 1340 sitting in my in the driveway. It took me 4 minutes to get here and I was in the portal (that doesn't work) the entire time. Just be honest, tell the trust. As a provider, you have to learn to have patience. Oh! And her assessment? Complete BS. Exactly 6 minutes and didn't even assess the issue. No Weber test, no tuning fork...nothing. Seriously felt like an absolute waste of time. Do I recommend this place? No, but does it matter? You go where you need to go in case of an emergency. There will ALWAYS be patients. Instead I left with a prescription for a med that has never worked in the past. I recently had surgery and can't have NSAIDS and cleared it with my surgeon ahead of time in case this place wanted to give me Toradol. They assured me that I could have that NSAID but I couldn't take oral NSAIDS. The PA here felt the it would be too strong for me but meanwhile I'm supposed to move around after surgery but I can't because of the pain. He offers me Robaxin which has never worked for my back pain in the past. So I wasted energy, time and money coming here because as a black woman with pain, I wasn't heard. I give up.
