Nice charcuterie board to go with their wines
    Don N.

Sunday afternoon, post marathon and we wanted a light snack and a tasty beverage to rehydrate before dinner later that night. Decided to visit Sigillo Cellars as they were one of the few wineries that featured food on their yelp reviews. Located in Snoqualmie on Railroad Avenue in a cool little downtown area, this was the perfect pre dinner location to quell the hunger and quench the thirst. The Great: We initially were going to take advantage of the $10 tasting, 2 oz of three wines from a limited list but then noticed for just $15 guests receive 3 oz tasting across the majority of their bottles. That is a great deal to sample wines from a vineyard we'd never had before. Wife went with a sparkling/white/cab trio where I choose all reds for my three pours. All of the wines were solid, I really enjoyed their Awesome 16 blend as my favorite. The Good: We wanted just a bit to munch on to pair with our wines and they have a varied menu to suit snackers or those wanting a more substantial meal. We choose the Charcuterie board with a combination of two meats, two cheeses, assorted nuts, warm pita, crackers, and two different locally made jams. Nicely presented and fresh, the combination was perfect for the wines we choose. The Okay: Nothing really to nitpick about and we enjoyed our afternoon here. Maybe the only thing that cut our visit short by a few minutes were the chairs were a bit uncomfortable after sitting for while. Would have loved a nice cozy booth! Overall: Cool place, looks to be in nice area to explore either before or after enjoying their wines. Loved our time here!

I stopped by here while I was in the area and I am very glad that I did! I saw on the menu that they have chocolate chip cookies. That is what I ordered. The ladies that work here are very nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is nice and calm. The cookies came out hot and fresh. They come in a pair. Some of the best cookies I've ever had! You must try if you are in the area. I can't wait to come back and try some other items

Cute place to relax with friends. The food is okay. The cheese board was great paired with the wine but the Mediterranean wrap doesn't suit my taste. They also have various vendors that set up shop in-house. You can find some unique handmade items.

While planning our itinerary during our trip to Seattle last year, I knew I wanted to do some wine tastings while out of the city, but it can be a bit tricky when traveling with a child as many cellars and tasting rooms do not allow them. I stumbled across Sigillo Cellars which is a quaint little tasting room located in Snoqualmie's historic downtown that is lined with shops, restaurants, ice cream, and more. They are just a stone throws away from Snoqualmie Falls and best of all, they are kid friendly! After hiking the Snoqualmie Falls Trail, we stopped here just after they opened. We checked out their new-ish outdoor deck area, but since it was warm out, we decided to cool down inside instead. We had the whole tasting room to ourselves and were the only ones there during our whole visit which was nice. We all went for their flight of wine from their tasting menu which included 2oz pours of three wines of your choice. Each glass comes with a little tag with the name, vineyard, and a description of the wine. I went with the 2020 Riesling, 2020 Roussanne, and the 2018 Petite Sirah. The flights are a great way to get a taste of a variety of wines instead of having to commit to just one or two. I'm not a wine connoisseur by any means, but overall, I did enjoy the wines! My favorite was probably the 2020 Riesling, which consisted of honeydew, papaya, lime, green apple, and grapefruit. It had sweeter notes and went down smoothly. We also ordered a caprese panini which was simple, but tasty. Can't go wrong when adding pesto to a sandwich! Their charcuterie board paired with our wines perfectly as well. I really loved the smoked gouda, Beecher's cheddar, and the fruit spread. Overall, we had a great visit! The tasting room is small, but lovely, and I would highly recommend a stop here, especially if you're in the area.

Cute entrance they're using as an outdoor serving space

We stopped in here last weekend after passing it so many times and saying we need to try this place. It's a really lovely tasting room with the little entrance being used currently for outdoor seating and the inside is a large open concept room with beautiful ambiance. I wish we could have sat inside not just because it was freezing out but I loved the strung twinkle lights overhead, the large wood barn doors, and the cozy feel they've created. The individual pouring for us was very friendly and set us up with a tasting. The tasting is 10 and waived if you buy a bottle of wine which I mean common, how can you not? They had a limited menu due to the times and we selected the chips which are gluten free (she brought out the seasoning and I confirmed). Of the wines we tasted the chardonnay and the tempranillo were our favorites and we ultimately went home with a bottle of chardonnay. The chips were a delicious salty accompaniment and we very much enjoyed ourselves. We so rarely get to go out anymore due to lockdowns it felt so indulgent to have a few glasses of wine and enjoy the day. Look forward to returning once their indoor space is open!

2019 VIE DÃ SUD on the dog friendly back deck

Stopped in here on a Sunday after hiking to Rattlesnake Ledge. Wine is my favorite way to rehydrate after a hike, and this spot is about a 15-minute drive from the trailhead. The indoor area looked nice, but it was a sunny afternoon and everyone wanted to sit out on the (dog-friendly!) back deck, with a few umbrellas for the shade-seekers. You go inside to order at the counter, and they bring the wine and food out to you. There's a self-serve water dispenser and you go inside to settle your tab. Despite being busy, the service was still friendly and helpful. I tried 3 white wines, and they were all good but my favorite was the VIE DÃ SUD. I also had a delicious beet salad. My friend liked the Tempranillo the best. She had the chop salad, which I tasted, and it was also yummy! Wine tasting is a very reasonable 3 x 2oz pours for $10, $10 fee waived with a bottle purchase. I know there are many wineries and tasting options in the area, but this one felt like a great find!

Inside is lovely but not as lovely as the wine and service molto buono

From the stunning views over the valley below, to the tasty cocktails, to the wonderful eats it was a great way to chillax on a lovely Saturday evening. Having had a not-great experience with wine (at a different venue) earlier in the day, we opted for cocktails here. My extra dirty martini with cheese-stuffed olives was phenomenal, and my friend enjoyed her old fashioned. We shared a roasted beet and burrata salad as an appy, then moved on to our main courses - I got the prime tenderloin and she got the cider glazed pork. We washed it all down with a couple of chocolate espresso martinis for dessert. My tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and accompanied by some sweet little roasted carrots and a lovely heap of mashed potatoes. My friend reported that her pork was more like a stew, and she really enjoyed it. What really put our experience here over the top was the absolutely amazing service we received, especially from our waiter, Trevor. He was friendly, funny, and helped us navigate the menu when we couldn't decide what to get. He also told us a little about the geological history of the area, which is built over an old coal mine. This place wasn't cheap, but for a fun night out of splurging, it was perfect!

Buckle in because I will be utilizing the term "phenomenal" throughout this review. Securing the time for the tasting was a bit of a production. They are closed weekends and are only available Monday through Friday. Their tasting times are either 10 AM, 1 PM, or 3PM. Why the specific times? I'm not sure, however it is what the business sets. We secured the 1PM tasting on a Friday. We were expecting the standard gambit of tastings with other parties, but to our surprise, it was not the case. We had the WHOLE tasting room to ourselves with an in house sommelier guiding through the phenomenal wine tasting. We were provided with personalized menus and a tour of the production area during our appointment. We took a few moments in between our sips of cab to walk to their production facility to see first hand how their wine is made. The tasting consisted of 3 wines. Julio guided us through our tasting. We started with a 2020 Quilceda Blanc, which was phenomenal and comes with a caveat. They do not sell this to the public. I can appreciate the tease there. We proceeded with the 2016 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, which was phenomenal. We took a walk break and Julio took us on a tour of their facilities where we saw French oak barrels, production line, and an interesting contraption called GALILEOAK. This was a spherical invention from France and is used to age wine. We continued with a tour of their barrel room and walked back to the tasting room. The final tasting was 2022 Palengat, which is a Mach 1 vineyard Horse Haven Hills. The wine left us desiring more. To our surprise, it was available for purchase and we took home half a case. Overall, I can certainly appreciate the exclusivity of this membership. This vintner does one thing and they do it well.
