Excellent experience with my lasik procedure. I would have this procedure any day over dental work. It was that easy and pain free.

My husband and me, we had a magnificent experience: Dr John Romanelly is a professional with a…read moreextraordinary experience, distinguished by his great knowledge, fine treatment and certainly dedicates his unlimited time to the patients; hi is very requested but the appointments are kept without much waiting time. His staff is courteous and qualified. His offices are impeccable and clean, and also if there was anything else to add, it would be positive..!! It was our first visit and we hope to keep him as our specialist. Thanks for the fortune of of visiting this professional and his environment.

The most careless and heartless health provider I have EVER contacted. You should never go to this…read moredoctor due to their HEARTLESS policy of not seeing anyone without the ability to fully confirm their insurance. I was willing to pay UP FRONT IN CASH, they still would not see me. I have an urgent eye health issue. As a new employee who started with my company in the last few weeks, I am fully covered and can be seen by ANY provider-- and have confirmed such with my HR department several times today. My insurance WILL PAY. However due to the holidays and employee availability, my coverage is not yet confirmed with my insurance provider BCBS. This is purely an administrative timing issue related to my recent start date-- and I would be fully covered in the event I was seen by any provider. However--- due to the self serving policy of Morris & Romanelli, they refuse to see me unless they can confirm I am covered WITH the insurance provider. It is 4 days before christmas, I have called over 36 different eye doctors, no one has appointments. I can see why Morris & Romanelli has an opening--- because they are heartless and their customers know it. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR, EVER!!! I am sure their greed and uncaring nature towards their neighbors (I live literally down the road) reflects in the care they give to their patients. I will be leaving this review in as many places as I can find to warn others about this practice. "We cant bend the rules for anyone, sir". "That would be fraudlent". Why is it fraud to see someone who HAS COVERAGE? Why is it fraud to see someone who is willing to pay cash???? I would have been happy to submit a claim afterwards to be reimbursed. But no, the office manager is heartless and this company should be investigated. I am following up this review with a complaint to the NYS Medical board-- as their payment policy has directly affected my health. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

hi my name is Ellen C I have been going to my dr for over 10yrs Im 67yrs old. I started with them…read moreyears ago and to this date I am still very happy with them. they always work with my budget and always are kind enough to tell me the truth about how my glasses look .. This is a very big deal to me since I am color blind .. you have no idea how I used to dress before i started asking sales people for help. They help me pick out frames that fit my face (small and small eyes ) they keep it within my budget. They do not manipulate you into buying designer frames like cohen's or vision works or lens crafters does sachem gives you that home welcome feeling all around from the drs reception everywhere the gentlemen who help pick out my glasses ( it wasn't rich ) he is awesome. I get so many compliments on my glasses and the way they look on me .. ( I know I couldn't have done it. as I said Im color blind) I have a broken leg and I didn't even have to get up. he fitted my glasses . I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have a story for you my very first eye glass place was EYEVISION i Got an exam got glasses 2 weeks later eyes hurting headaches I return to the places told them their response was your eyes need to adjust I accepted that It made sense. 2 months i returned they are still hurting and still headaches I returned and they said the same thing. after speaking with family members I was told to go somewhere else I got a referral from someone in my hometown at the time Ronkonkoma Sachem Eye Care I booked the appointment and it was fast. the next day They did an exam full The bottom line EYEVISION gave me the wrong prescription in my glasses . Sachem Eye care is the most honest, personable. place you can be they go above and beyond for you.

The last time I was there I ordered six month supply of contacts instead of a year and they told me…read morethat I could place an order for another six months without being seen because I only need a yearly check up. When I tried ordering my six months supply today they not only wouldn't do so without another exam (which my insurance won't cover due to it being six months from my previous one) but they didn't have an appointment available until after I ran out of contacts and supposedly don't have any sample contacts in stock. So basically "We lied about your ability to reorder, you can't be seen before you run out and it suks to be you." Not the kind of office I want to deal with ever again.
