During a routine examination, Dr. Kaiser noticed an anomaly on the retina of my left eye. Recognizing the seriousness of what she observed, she immediately referred me to a specialist in retinal conditions. That referral led me to an advanced specialist who confirmed that the anomaly was, in fact, a melanoma -- a type of cancer. I was then referred to a surgeon in New York City who specializes in treating retinal cancer. The treatment involved a cutting-edge procedure in which a radioactive disc was placed on my eye. Fortunately, because of Dr. Kaiser's timely detection and insistence that I seek further evaluation, the cancer had not metastasized to other parts of my body. Her vigilance and dedication made it possible to treat the condition before it became life-threatening. I am profoundly grateful for Dr. Kaiser's diligence, care, and commitment to her patients.Quite simply, her expertise and quick action saved my life. Wish I had known about Ardsley Eye Care sooner! I have no…read moreeye problems - don't wear any sort of corrective lenses, so I tend to space out eye exams very far apart. I needed an eye exam for my driver's license renewal. I walked into Ardsley Eye Care and was met with smiling faces and a very kind staff. They were able to fit me in for an exam and I met Dr. Wolfe. Wow! The nicest man possible. He gave me a thorough exam and filled out the necessary DMV form - which was then sent electronically to them. (All that was left for me to do was renew/pay for my actual license from my computer at home. The eye exam portion was already being sent by Ardsley Eye Care for me.) The BEST part of the day was when I got home and told my wife about the pleasant and capable care I received with Dr. Wolfe and his staff. She DOES have all sorts of eye care needs...glasses, contact lenses, and regular visits to monitor for her cataracts and potential glaucoma. She has been looking for a new practice for her exams since the existing one has a couple of doctors who are ready to retire. She will be calling Dr. Wolfe's office shortly it make an appointment. Again, can't believe that we never heard of this practice opening so close to our home.
